This is an update to my review. After 12 years of going to Tera for my hair, and being incredibly loyal and referring many others to her, I have had questions about her rates going up and up, without notice, and being shocked nearly every time I would go to pay. I had also noticed the quality of the work on my hair (cut and color) over time not meeting my expectations but again, I am loyal and we'd spent a lot of time together. When charged for something I should not have been charged for and her canceling my appointment so she could go on vacation, I had 'the gall' to question that, and she decided to let ME go as a client, claiming she has had to 'adjust her pricing' for me. I recently moved into the area, and had some trial haircuts with Tera. First two went OK, just long layers, but on the third, she took the layers off the front and gave me bangs-- which I never asked for! . I thought maybe she has a bad day, and decided to try fourth time. I asked for the shoulder length bob with slightly layered, lifted back, feathered ends. But she just quickly , crudely chopped off all the back for a bob-like pixie. It was so fast, I could not stop her. I had shoulder length bob done all my life - and nobody did such strange, fastly executed errors, no listening to the client. I have wavy hair, and so the cut looks terrible. I am very upset. She overcuts and doesn't listen. If you do the same haircut all the time, and do not mind her cutting technique, then, maybe. Otherwise, no. Tera, thanks for the apology. But "language barrier" has nothing to do with asking for a shoulder length bob and getting a badly executed pixie. It's simply a bad haircut. read more

I can assure you, without a doubt, she will give life to your hairstyle dream! She is magnificent, 5 stars aren't enough for the work this hairstylist can do! I chose Tera because the photos liked like what I wanted and it was easy to book online. To say I was impressed is an understatement.
