Its a go-to place for a run or bike during anytime of the year but maybe avoid rainy day as it get to muddy here. Located in north delta n close to surrey its a great venue shaded on hot summer days but little extra cold in winters. Its mushy and all natural terrain make it apear like a blanket of grass all green. Tall trees present a sight to think about ife. Its beautiful looking up in between the trees. Good picture shot. There are almost 10-15 or maybe more varying length and difficulties of trails. Infact there are humps for bikers who like muddy and steep trails up. I would say rain would make some parts of the park to appear like a small lakesand bringing your little toddlers on this trail might not be a good idea. ( even in trolleys) Fresh air and forest smell took my breath away plus i had a good calorie burn. I did get lost though as all look so same plus its big to complete the whole round of the park.

This is a great spot to go with your family or even your dog. Well maintained trails. Be careful on the jumps some of the logs are rotten/wet.

My first time in this park. Good place for a small walk close to home, managed to walk around within an hour. these trails are mostly shared for bikes and walkers. Check out the map on trailforks if your looking for the so so knarly trail.

The North Delta watershed is my favorite for biking, and also a wonderful place for a nature walk or run.

I've been to the Regional Park which I think is on the other side of the dyke (not sure). I came here last week and it was a beautiful day, cold (probably around 1-3 degrees) but really nice. I brought my bike up as well. The trail itself it quite wide so there's lots of room. When I was there there were quite a few walkers, dog walkers, runners and some bikers. And the people there were really friendly, not exaggerating, about 90% of the people you pass by say hi to you. A far cry from Central Park where I go for my runs and feed the squirrels and chickadees. Over there almost no one says hi. Oh yeah and the eagles...lots of eagles! Wow! I can watch these beautiful birds all day. I will be back for sure!

"It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation. Whenever I find myself growing grim about the mouth; whenever it is a damp, drizzly November in my soul; whenever I find myself involuntarily pausing before coffin warehouses, and bringing up the rear of every funeral I meet; and especially whenever my hypos get such an upper hand of me, that it requires a strong moral principle to prevent me from deliberately stepping into the street, and methodically knocking people's hats off--then, I account it high time to get to Boundary Bay as soon as I can." Nota Bene: the amount of dog poo one encounters along the way is inversely proportional to the distance traveled from the Mud Bay parking lot.
