There is a small bar inside, and they are renovating more interior space for additional seating for the hot summer months. The wines are overall pretty tasty. They only grow muscadine grapes on the property and import other grapes from California and elsewhere. They have a selection of drier wines all the way to the sweet fruit wines. They also offer wine sorbets. My husband and I each got a wine flight of 4 wines for $18. I forgot how big the pours were but they were a decent size. They also offer wine tasting experience of 6 wines, smaller pours, that lasts 45 minutes. They have a small section of food. We got the pimento cheese and crackers, the cheese was delicious. They also had popsicles and ice cream, which my kids enjoyed. We got three bottles of wine to take home with us! We love supporting our Florida wineries! Also, our bartender Shelley was fantastic! Even the music is synchronized among the three houses. The show said two house combine light. I think this is three house job. The light extended to the roof. I hope one day they can convince the entire neighborhood to do it. I like the music play and light are dancing. The dance with sequence with three houses combine are amazing. I have seen nothing like this. The light extended to the trees, roof and the ground cover. They have laser light shooting to the floor. Make this a party place.

But seeing that it was scorching hot, there still wasn't too much shade to be found. I would suggest this be in the winter when it is cooler. I think it would be perfect in January/ February after all the holidays are over. I would also suggest there be areas for misting tents if it is going to be in the hot months of Florida. That would help people feel more refreshed, and more inclined to keep going through. It's hard for me to have an appetite if I can't refresh somewhere close by. I did get to try the Vietnamese coffee from the Pho truck. I loved it, but it was super small just because it was basically ice. I also has the lobster roll from Surf and Turf. It was okay, but I didn't love that it was mostly kale. My hubby had a burger from one of the trucks and loved it because he felt quite full from the fries and huge burger. I have now had my fair share of food truck fests, and I am glad I have checked this off my list twice. (I was also at the one in the Spring at the Florida State Fairgrounds.) Between two stages keeping the live music going all day, the sets were primarily rock-based, including bands with heavy soul & jazz influences. The selection of artists was outstanding, and I only wished the weather was warmer so we could have stayed later into the night. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but once we accepted the fact that we'd have to walk several blocks, we found plenty of free public parking in lots north of the beach volleyball nets. The entrance was not as far south as I've seen for other ticketed festivals & events at Vinoy Park, yet with only two gates, we had quite a wait to get inside, hours after the event began. Interestingly, one gate's line was long but very orderly, while the other gate was a chaotic mob of people with no visible movement. I chose the civilized line. Bags were checked & we were wanded, but security wasn't as tight as the slowly-moving line indicated. We were able to bring our own chairs & easily found a spot in the grass near the main stage. Lots of local food trucks were on-site, along with beer, wine & cocktails at separate booths, plus many vendors selling jewelry, shirts, sweaters, hats, etc. The alcohol options were rather broad for a festival, but unfortunately, cash-only. Luckily, I did have enough cash to share two 24oz domestic beers with hubs ($11 each, Miller Lite or Yung lingerie cans). FYI, an ATM was available, but I didn't check the fees. And merchandise vendors did accept cards. Port-a-potties were plentiful at the south end of the park, with minimal wait. They were well-stocked but still nasty. Hubs said he saw a hand-washing station but I didn't & was glad I'd brought hand-sanitizer. Vinoy Park was a beautiful setting for the Sunshine Music Festival, with a relaxed vibe & great music. What a fun afternoon! I'm definitely interested in attending again next year.

Many vendors were set up selling food, as well as lots hippie type items. There was alcohol for sale for those who like to drink, and plenty of port-a-potties. Nearby parking was very scarce, so walking was mandatory. The scenery was nice, though, overlooking the water. I would like to attend again.

That being said, I really did like the quality and variety of artists present. I find it boring going to art shows that have too many jewelry booths or too many watercolors artists, etc. I ended up buying a painting, a necklace, 2 gourd mice, and a mug. My friend bought a silk jacket and a gorgeous lazy Susan. I loved that their prices were way more reasonable than what you find at the more high end art shows like Gasparilla Festival of the Art. Like all art shows in the area - get there early! It gets really crowded. Fortunately there were plenty of parking garages nearby, and we only had to walk 2 blocks. I am definitely adding this show to my yearly rotation of art shows.
