In addition, the Center is a multi-purpose facility that hosts over 300 events each year, including sporting events, concerts, family shows and more. We came here for a grandson's high school graduation. It was at 8:00 am, but cars lined up much earlier to get the graduates here in time and to get better seats. They were hosting several high school graduations in one day -- back to back. The acoustics were fine plus they have big screens in a couple locations to see the stage area. Seats were plastic in tiered rows. Not that comfortable, but okay. It's not very accessible nor handicapped friendly. If you have any problems walking, the aisles to the seats had lots of steps and were steep. I was surprised that they charged everyone $15 for self parking. No outside food and drink were allowed. And they make you go through metal detectors and search all bags. The concessions were over priced. And are cashless. Still it was nice to attended a happy celebration here. The school did a good job recognizing all the excelling students. And because the venue was so large, there were no restrictions on the number of family attendees.

Set up was nice and great sound quality for any concert. Love the pyrotechnic abilities at the stadium for a more impactful and memorable experience. Lots of vendors as with any stadium. However i thought it was odd that purchasing a bottled drink, they would remove and keep the bottle cap. Not a convenient concept nor considered hygienic having an open bottle through the event. Easy to get around once you're inside however I was not impressed with the overall process of when the gates open for the event. It was highly unorganized with no structure or marked lines to control the crowd as we waited in long lines in the hot Florida weather to get inside. Parking was a breeze as we prepaid for a parking pass. Roads were marked and lots were easily accessible and traffic flow was smooth entering the parking lots.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS - FIRST HOME GAME 2026-2027…read more ARRIVAL - LOT A/3D. VIP / DISABLED PARKING (1) The car line for the Lot A/3D, VIP/disabled parking area was long. One person accepting tickets. There appeared to be nobody actively guiding vehicles. (2) There were also temporary signs throughout the area stating "NO RIDESHARE DROP OFF." The signs were clearly visible, but we observed what appeared to be little or no enforcement. GATE A - ACCESSIBILITY (3) A disabled family member was separated from their assisted device. Why separate someone from a walker, wheelchair, oxygen tank, cane, or another medically necessary device? (4) We entered, received our free shirts, and continued to our seats. Woohoo!!! S.A.F.E. STAFF (5) CAPTAIN'S CORNER - SECTION 151 - simply the best in the business! We love their positive attitudes--the smiles, laughs, and energy they bring to the stadium. Not just (again) today but for years!!! (6) That leads to one small suggestion for Raymond James Stadium: Please have employees wear their identification horizontally and in a position where guests can easily read their names. Maybe your next new set of ID's have larger font to recognize from afar. When someone provides outstanding service, guests should be able to recognize that employee by name. (7) THE GAME As for the game itself, it was memorable. It was typical hot Florida weather, and we had no complaints regarding the game itself or the game-related events and entertainment. My favorite is the National Anthem leading to the F35's flyover and ending with fireworks!!! Love it! (8) Then everything changed at the two-minute warning. THE WEATHER DELAY At 4:00 PM, with 2:00 remaining in the game, a weather delay was announced. Obviously, nobody controls Florida weather. When lightning is involved, safety has to come first. My criticism isn't that the game was delayed. The issue was communication during the delay. After 4:30 PM, there still had been no meaningful update, and the stadium employees we spoke with did not appear to have additional information either. We were told to shelter and that was it. (See images) We began searching online ourselves and found information suggesting--without confirmation from the stadium--that the lightning safety clock essentially resets following another nearby lightning strike. At approximately 5:00 PM, I texted the BUCS asking for an update. This is the exact text response we received: "We are waiting on another update! As soon as we have an estimated timeframe, we will make an announcement. There is not an update yet but as soon as we have more details we will make an announcement. For now, shelter in place." So while guests were simultaneously asking for information, the response indicated that those assisting guests were themselves still waiting for additional information. Eventually, an announcement was made that the delay would continue until 5:30 PM. At that point, we made the decision to leave. (9) STADIUM CONDITIONS DURING THE DELAY The extended delay also exposed another issue that I believe deserves attention: This venue needs upgrades!!! While speaking with customer service, we were actually getting drizzled on- more a constant mist. As we walked through portions of the stadium, water was dripping in various areas. During an event where thousands of people are specifically being instructed to shelter in place, those covered concourse areas become particularly important. There was also an unpleasant trash odor in one area. To the workers' credit, they were actively removing trash. However, there appeared to be a breakdown somewhere in the process because when I left that area, bags of removed trash were still sitting on the floor. Under ordinary circumstances, perhaps these things wouldn't stand out as much. During a prolonged weather delay, however, everyone is pushed into the concourses and sheltered areas. That's when issues involving leaks, cleanliness, odor, crowd movement, and communication become much more noticeable. (10) LEAVING RAYMOND JAMES STADIUM Despite the challenges, there were some genuinely outstanding people working at Raymond James Stadium who deserve recognition, and there were parts of the experience we thoroughly enjoyed. There were five-star employees throughout the stadium. The game-day entertainment was enjoyable. But the overall experience also highlighted areas that can and should improve--particularly VIP/disabled parking management, accessibility procedures, communication during extended emergencies/weather delays, and the stadium infrastructure available to guests when everyone is instructed to shelter in place. Once they did, she accumulated extra tickets for us to go in. Once inside the wait seemed forever. They would let a certain number of people in a group each time. We finally got in around 7:20pm! For sure jumping in is hard when you are bare footed. You can easily get stuck under. It's like drowning, but a bunch of balls instead of water! The most fun or most difficult is trying to get out! Phew! I felt so happy and free after playing around for a bit! What a great fun concept. Those were the days of Chuckie cheese ball pits! Here it is again!

The first time I fell, I needed help to get back up, and just walking through the balls was hard! The *shore* with lounge chairs & umbrellas was a nice way to catch my breath. Due to my kids' work & college schedules, Sunday was really the best day for us to go together. I ordered our free tickets online several weeks before the multi-week event began, and 5pm 8/21 was the only slot still available for a group of 6... That's how popular this event was, sight unseen! Once I realized The Beach Tampa would be closing at 6pm on Sundays, I was concerned our time would be limited. However, worrying was not necessary. At the entrance outside, we queued up to enter precisely at our ticketed time. Then inside, we waited again as staff monitored the number of people inside the actual *beach* area for safety and enjoyment, allowing people to enter as others left. The line moved quickly at this point, but we still weren't able to go in until after 5:30. Luckily, staff had already announced to everyone that even the very last person to enter would get a minimum of 45 minutes to enjoy The Beach. I really hope The Beach returns to Tampa!

There was a lot of meat from a couple of suppliers and it was quite pricey...BUT I've been looking for a local meat supplier. I'll need to dig into details on who they are, where they come from and their practices... I believe there are some harvest gatherings/festivals/meals or something they do, at least once a year. A friend and I were going to go this past fall but for some reason we didn't. So we said this time around, if they do offer something in the fall, we definitely want to check it out! I will add this to my list of local farming spots to get fresh and locally grown produce and other stuff!

We went here for the Banksy art exhibit, so we really didn't get to experience the stage/center…read morearea. The exhibit is setup through a loading dock in the back, but it was really well done, and the setup was really appropriate for the display. If you are a Banksy fan, I recommend going before the exhibit leaves. The last day is September 27, 2026. We spent over an hour looking at the large samplings of his work. It was easy to buy tickets online and there was no issue using our QRcode to get admitted. The event was crowded but we were able to take all the time we wanted to see the exhibit and they had a nice merch selection at the end. The only thing was finding parking ahead of time. Since we went during the day, the parking for the center wasn't directly available. I ended up using the ParkWhiz app to find parking a block or two away, which worked out well. I'd definitely go to another event at this center, as it was easy to get in and out of the area and if you have more time, there are a lot of restaurants nearby and it's not far from river walk or other museum/art destinations.

At this point, some ticket prices rival actual Broadway prices, which is pretty insane. Overall, I'd still recommend going to see a show at least once to experience the theater. It's a nice venue and there's a lot to enjoy, but I do think the rising prices and seating distance are worth considering when planning your visit.

Also keep in mind if you plan on seating down at the bottom of the stands make sure you wear something to protect yourself and your love one beause mud flies every where.
