Baseball under the stars is a delight! I went to the Rays vs Blue Jays game on September 17th. After a short weather delay, the game got started. While being outside, there were no issues with bugs or mosquitos. The field is fantastic! Seats feel so close and the energy is amazing. I always appreciate getting a Viva when I go to a Rays or Rowdies game. Baseball felt more immersive here compared to The Trop. I'm glad I was able to make it to a game prior to the Rays return to The Trop.
Came here in July for a Rays vs Orioles game. Pokémon go day. It was very very hot. The seats in the sun baked the plastic chairs. It was painfully hot. Sunscreen booths to cover up your skin. Ice cream helmets everywhere.
As lifelong Mets fans, the only way to get my husband and I in here was for the Rays to be temporarily housed this season ( thank you, Yankees).... So what follows is a true and objective review *$30 parking ( plus $2.25 service fee) to be parked on the grass... are you kidding me? $$$$ *paranoid security-continuous pregame announcements and clear bag policy...still? *hot, hot, hot: usually minimal air flow unless out of standard seating-- and there is still limited air flow. **awesome staff: "fan hosts/ guest relations/ food services/ Bay Republic Team Store...all outstanding!!! Assuming they are dedicated employees from the Trop ** beautiful stadium ( I said it)--- with the allowance of Ray/ification through banners, murals, and personalization that the only evidence of the Yankees is the scoreboard name and iconic perimeter topping **great 1st and 3rd bullpen bars/ restaurants with good food choices and great staff **great design where team bullpens are very visible
Came out to George M. Steinbrenner Field 2 to catch the Tampa Tarpons take on the Lakeland Flying Tigers, and honestly, it was the kind of day that reminds you why baseball is America's pastime. The weather was absolutely perfect -- warm with just the right breeze to keep you comfortable. We grabbed a couple bags of classic ballpark peanuts and sipped on lemon-lime Gatorade as we watched the game unfold. There's something about cracking open peanuts and soaking in the sounds of the ballpark that just hits different. The field itself is clean, well-kept, and offers a great up-close view of the action. You're not battling crowds here -- it's a laid-back, family-friendly vibe where you can really focus on the game. Players were giving it their all, and the crowd was into it without being overwhelming. If you're looking for a chill, affordable day at the ballpark in Tampa, Field 2 is a hidden gem. Solid baseball, good snacks, and that Florida sunshine -- what more could you ask for?
I got to the Tampa Bay Rays game against the Guardians late but I noticed that I didn't have to pay for parking. This is my first time going to this stadium but it was a nice small stadium and it was super easy to navigate. When I got there with my mom and twin sister the associates there told us exactly how to get to our seats and we even used the elevator to the second floor. There was not a lot of walking and that is a plus because my mom cannot walk long distance. I liked how this stadium named the tune they were playing. I really enjoyed myself in this game.
This is a great ball park where the Tampa Bay Rays are playing their 2025 season. I was invited to attend a game on a Thursday afternoon, so I have no idea of pricing, but we also enjoyed premier parking which was on a paved parking lot and close to the entrance. The stadium has a number of vendors for food and beverages as well as beverage salespeople walking around. There was never any wait. We sat behind home plate and had a great view of the game. Nice place!
First walk in great open bar, great atmosphere, and company. All seats even upper section have cup holders, unlike tropicana where only premium seats have them. Great stadium and well designed. Also great drink options. Oversized white claws.

This is written by my son sasha and not Dmitry dran this is his account but it's my review of this stadium. So, the stadium is fine but if you're sitting in right field first row, make sure that you DO NOT bring at sign there. If you drop it, it goes down a little hole between the fence and the seats and apparently nobody can get anything from down there. I just went to the game and the sign just feel on there and the look on my face when I found out that nobody can get the sign was crazy!!! I was so heated and upset that I couldn't get it back considering that I went to 15 different stadiums with it and it had a lot of signatures on it too!!! At least I got two balls to make up for it but still, if you sit there, make sure you hold on to your belongings because it's gone if it goes down there.
The field isn't too bad. They actually have 2 fields . I've watched games for the Rays & games for the Tarpons. For the Rays, it's replacing Tropicana right now. No it isn't as big as the rays and it's definitely hot without the shade but it's baseball !

As a born and raised Boston girl, and die hard Sox fan, let's just say Yankees fans are A-holes, even in the minors.
Enjoyed the Ballpark and the Ray's new temporary home. Clean and nice Ballpark with decent concessions . Parking in general parking by Bucs Stadium can take 30-45 minutes leaving so splurge and buy Reserved attached to the Ballpark and be out in under 5 minutes - well worth it.
Great Spring Training park but no bottles of water are allowed. We've been to 5 other ballparks in the last 8 days and all of them allowed one bottle of unopened water. You can take an empty bottle or reusable water container and fill it up inside the stadium. Security was 100% New York about it (rude!) Every other ballpark has had THE nicest people working. They did have craft beer on tap (Voodoo Ranger) so that was awesome!

We won tickets to go see The Tampa Tarpons and i don't think I've ever had so much fun at a baseball game before. Security was a breeze we walked in and was greeted by staff to help us find seating and concessions for the game. We ended getting the family pack meal that fed a family of 4 which gave you the option of tender or hotdogs which after trying the tender I would probably get the hot dog next time there was so much breading on the tenders. Now the game portion was a lot of fun it was a baseball game with a lot more amusement. We got to see Tampa tarpons win which awesome to see and on Friday's they have a firework show after the game! One of the staff members ended up giving both my kids some baseball cards to take home as a awesome souvenir. read more
We caught the Tampa Rays final home-stand at George Steinbrenner stadium. Next year the Rays will go back to hosting home games at Tropicana Field. The Yankees own the stadium so they will be back in the spring. The baseball field is across the street from Raymond James stadium the home of the Buccaneers. Regular parking was in the Raymond James lot and attendees walked over an elevated crosswalk to the Steinbrenner entrance. Premium parking at Steinbrenner stadium is $60 per car per event. I had not been to a Yankees spring training game at this facility in years. This stadium is really well maintained. The restrooms were very clean, neat and quite nice for a stadium. The Webullpen Clubs at Steinbrenner Field are located at the first and third base sections. Each club offers a selection of concessions including traditional ballgame fare, Cuban and chicken sandwiches, burgers, chicken strips, and quesadillas alongside a variety of beers on tap. I had the chicken quesadilla and in the club it came with green and red salsa. It had plenty of chicken and you could see lots of peppers in the cheese mix. I thought it was a good deal at 10.99 even outside the stadium setting. The Webullpen feels like a perk usually available with club level seats but here is open to any ticket holder. The air conditioned space had high top tables and couches with TVs all around showing the action. Quick serve orders are placed at the bar where they hand over drinks immediately and you get a number for the kitchen to deliver your food. Besides ushers I also saw staff with yellow shirts that said 'fan host' and they seemed to be guest services placed all around the stadium including the Webullpen. The stands were pretty standard stadium seating with cup holders. Initially the lower level seating on this September evening seemed comfortable, once the place filled up it was hot and sweaty. The Rays played a good game but did not win. This loss dashed any hope of post season play. read more

Spring training is the best time of year & you can't beat it at an amazing field and location. Sometimes traffic can be a little crazy in this area due to rush hours and its location, but it's an easy commute to any area! This is a great place to catch a Yankees spring training game! It has great facilities, amazing entertainment, and such a close knit feel in comparison to a "real" Yankees game. I don't feel as if there is a bad seat in the house! Any where you sit you're able to have an unrestricted view! It's the perfect setting and night games are even perfect under the lights! One low light of attending was buying a food voucher. I bought two $10 vouchers, but when going to use them the systems didn't quite recognize them. I was able to still use both, but it's basically a pay in advance instead of day of. They also don't have anything that is perfectly $10 so you have to pay for more anyways! So take my advice and just wait to pay the day of! read more
If you're coming here- I would suggest leaving early. We had a half hour drive and we ended up leaving about 45 mins before the game and it took us a good hour and 15 mins to two hours because of all the Traffic. Also parking was a bit of a disaster.... We parked like behind the Mercedes Benz extra lots in what appeared to be some guys yard- for like $25- which was pretty decent because I saw signs for $30, $35, $40, & $45- which is wild- considering that's what you pay at the actual Yankee Stadium.... Or the parking actually is not even THAT much! However- this is a REALLY Nice ball field..... It's actually really clean- like almost immaculate and no matter where you sit I think you have a AN amazing vantage point.... We had paid for tickets and they were pretty expensive for a spring training game- but it said "split team" which meant that Judge and other great players would be there. Since my son is a huge fan- I figured why not! I'm glad we went because he ended up having a blast. I will say they have some pretty strict and ridiculous rules. No tobacco or vapes allowed. So If you don't leave them in the car- they apparently will confiscate them. They also don't allow strollers- which is pretty terrible considering how many families and children that were in attendance. I also physically witnessed many family's struggling that had multiple kids that would've benefited from a stroller...I would say the majority of the attendees were families or retirees. But there was actually a good mix of people who attended !! The store here definitely has some of the best Yankee's gear I have ever come across. I really loved so many of the items- but they were really pricey! I wanted to get this NY Margaritaville tie front shirt and I thought it was $58 - but it was $85!!! Ouch- I put it back.... I would definitely return but I would be more prepared! read more
Such a great place to be, especially for a night game or when the weather is cooler. The atmosphere is classic and perfect for baseball fans. Parking and traffic can definitely be a bit of a pain, so I'd recommend planning your day accordingly. 2 hot dogs, a mid Dr. Pepper, and a chicken tender basket later, overall, it was a beautiful day for some baseball and a great experience! read more
I love being able to catch Yankees spring training here. Lots of parking since they use the Bucs lots, parking is $21.50. Stadium is much smaller than major league stadiums so all seats are good. I prefer the first base side which stays shaded. Lots of concession options with all your ballpark classics: hot dogs, cracker jacks, chicken tenders, sliders, personal pizzas read more
Great field/stadium and the staff is superb! We hosted a private event in one of the suites a couple months ago and it was great! Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the venue. The food/drinks, the atmosphere, and staff exceeded our expectations. People had the option to watch the game, mingle indoors or outdoors. read more

I have attended many games here and once inside the stadium all is well and it is a top notch experience. Unfortunately before you get in, the customer service aspect of the experience is not good. Starting with ticket purchase at the walk up window on game day. The whole process is Byzantine. Don't bother asking for a paper ticket there aren't any. We waited online from 1215pm until 1255pm when we finally made it to the window. Only two of the three windows were functioning. We saw two large groups turned away after spending many minutes at the window apparently conducting a major banking transaction. But they did not get tickets. PS - we attended a Phillies game the day before and walked up to the game day window and had two paper tickets in 30 seconds. After purchase the Yank tix come to your phone in a text - easy enough. It took way too long to buy tix. Also, forget about buying tix for tomorrow's game at the window - can't do it. You must go on line in your Ticketmaster app to buy tix. Further one day we bought SRO bleacher seats, which are actually very good if you get a seat at the wall, that came with two free drinks. To get the drinks you had to log into your Ticketmaster account separately then look for the tix then select the vouchers. Seems like it would be a bit easier if they simply added that bar code to the tickets they text you. No. Anyway it took quite awhile to figure that out. Also you had to go to a specific vendor to claim your drinks. Interestingly when I finally figured all this out the server made the statement, "oh someone finally figured that out". A bit frustrating. Still it is a nice ball park for a game. Mark. read more
What an amazing place for spring training! It's such a beautiful field and very easy to get around. The concession stands are clean and go quick. The feel of the stadium is small and I tomate but it's big enough to hold a ton of Yankees fans! read more

Well here we are. The Rays new ball field. Surprised that it's not really hot. Third base side is full shade with a light breeze and a start time of 735 pm improves everything. Typical ball park food. I would eat first. Beer looks like $16! read more
Attended the Tamia & Anthony Hamilton concert here and not one of the better venues I have been to. Their parking was very inefficient. Entering the lot they had several attendants at the entrance but only two were taking payments. 37.63 for parking is a little steep as well. Once in the lot they had no attendants directing you where to park so it was a free for all. Since it's an outdoor venue you are at the mercy of the weather. On this date I fell victim to the rain. Caused the concert to be delayed. Once we're let in the interior was a minor league baseball stadium seating 11,000. They had four concessions stands open. Prices are what you would expect at a ballpark. Overpriced food and drink. Bathrooms were halfway clean but considering the rain and all the people stuck on the concourse I won't hold that against the. The rain caused the concert to be delayed for 3 hours. The opening acts canceled by the time they allowed everyone to be seated. Once we got in the DJ had Whitney Houston playing on repeat until the concert started. Once the concert actually began at 10:30 pm when it was supposed to start at 7 they canceled all of the opening acts. Tamia performed 4 songs in about 20 min. Then there was a 30 min wait for Anthony Hamilton to get set up. He only performed for about 30 min. Really felt shorted at this concert. Concessions closed down at 11:00 pm. read more

Easy in easy out. A fraction of the price of a seat at the stadium in NY. And one of the reading we live here...Orioles, Pirates, and our beloved Yankees all within a short distance. Decent food choices, bars all around...and given the shortened spring training season, all the regulars on the field. Only knock is that most (maybe all?) of the food is pre-prepared. So the sandwiches come with everything on it, no exclusions and are clearly cooked ahead and kept warm. They could easily add some fresher choices. Go Yankees!!! read more
The Yankees are a class organization and it shows in everything they do for their fans. I'm a lifelong Phillies fan and I think every other organization could learn from them. The field looks and feels like a mini version of Yankee Stadium - itself a great place for baseball. They have a monument park out front similar to Yankee Stadium where they honor their greats. Their team store is fantastic and everyone who works for them treats the fans with gratitude for being there. Soup to nuts just a great experience! Like I mentioned, I love my Phillies but, as a fan of the sport, I do respect those Yankees. read more

Had such a great time, the security was quick, wish the yankee store was a big bigger it was packed the entire game (2 floors) but narrow. The food choose is your basic baseball game food. There was nothing gluten free on the menu. They said the tots might be gluten free but they were not sure. read more
