When the problem was not solved by these injections more than a year later, she recommended I connect with a Keloid removal doctor at Lexington Plastic Surgery. I spoke to them and they proceeded to pitch me a full-on radiation extraction. Not only was the cost prohibitive for this surgery, it was being sold similar to how a used-car company would operate. Really shady. So I decided to get a second opinion and was told it was NOT A KELOID. It was something called Calcinosis. The doctor removed the growth in less than 10 minutes and the cost of the procedure was less than $200. I was outraged that I had been MIS-DIAGNOSED FOR OVER A YEAR! Called the office last week to speak with Dr Julien. Of course she was unavailable. So I asked for her to call me back. You think I've heard from Dr Julian. NOPE. Beware of this place. I found another dermatologist.

Dr. Julian Moore is an exceptional dermatologist who truly sets the standard for patient care. From…read morethe moment you walk into his office, you're treated with kindness, compassion, and respect. His bedside manner is outstanding, and he never makes you feel rushed during your appointment. What I appreciate most is that he takes the time to genuinely listen to your concerns. He carefully explains your condition, answers every question thoroughly, and works with you to create a personalized treatment plan that helps you achieve the best possible results. His years of experience, extensive knowledge, and expertise are evident in every interaction, and you leave feeling confident that you're in the best hands. There may occasionally be a wait before your appointment, but that's simply because Dr. Moore gives every patient the same level of attention and care that he gave me. He doesn't rush anyone, and that level of thoroughness is rare to find these days. In my opinion, he is absolutely worth the wait. Dr. Moore treats his patients like family, and it's clear that he genuinely cares about their health and well-being rather than just getting them in and out of the office. If you're looking for a dermatologist who is compassionate, meticulous, knowledgeable, and truly invested in helping you achieve healthy skin, I highly recommend Dr. Julian Moore.

Dr. Julien Moore takes time to know you and remembers everything!…read more Such passion and care taken with dermatology is what dr. Moore specializes in. He is so passionate that he works six days of the week and loves it! My friend Rebecca P recommended Dr. Moore to me and my first visit I waited hours for the appointment but was still happy to get excellent care when it was my turn, and we'll worth the wait! I mean a dermatologist is someone you see Annually (so it's once in awhile), that waiting could be justified ( Yelp review time!). I had skin rashes for years! Dr. Moore knew how to treat my rashes after taking a biopsy . The rashes were instantly gone- just amazing. I recently got a mole taken out, and Dr. Moore's memory of my visits and asks about my daughter is nothing short of compassion. Very caring man. Make your appointments first thing in the morning that way there is less wait time than the afternoon. Bring your phone well-charged and get ready to be taken care of properly and thoroughly.

I strongly do not recommend undergoing any surgical procedures (such as removals) with Dr. Simona…read moreBartos. While she may be a decent aesthetic dermatologist, her surgical skills are terrible. She removed a tiny spot about 0.08 inches in size, and I ended up with a scar that is 2 inches vertically and 0.2 inches horizontally. The scar has remained large and has not improved over time. The brown stitches she used to close the wound protruded from the scar for over six weeks until l scheduled another appointment. (I had already been to a follow-up earlier, where they told me everything was fine.) During the second appointment, Dr. Bartos blamed my body for rejecting the stitches, claiming that's why they didn't dissolve and stuck out. She removed some of them, but considering the scar is not only huge but also uneven, I suspect some stitches may still be left inside. She also suggested I return for treatments to reduce the scar's visibility, costing $250 per session... Additionally, I do not trust the clinic with which they cooperate and where the biopsy materials were analyzed. When I looked up the lab name, website, and address on Google Maps, everything seemed highly suspicious. Be sure to do thorough research before allowing a doctor to perform any procedure on your skin. An unsightly result is a minor issue compared to undergoing an unnecessary procedure. P.S. This photo was taken nine months after the procedure. As you can see, the scar still looks terrible.

I thought Dr. A. was very nice and had a kind demeanor. I didn't care for her assistant as she seemed harsh and unfriendly. I also feel like if I go in for a yearly shin check, I should be laying on an examining table and not in an apparatus that is more like a chair. It was of putting to have to sit and then stand and then turn around and then sit back down while the doctor was squatting to check lower extremities and leaning over me to check my back. It was just weird. I'm not sure I would go back to this office. Not because of the Doctor but more for the uncomfortability of the examination.

Dr Obed is awesome!…read more I've had bad experiences with a different dermatologist that wasn't addressing my concern and was over prescribing stuff that wasn't even related to my issue. Found Dr Obed due to his great reviews and on the very first visit I could see why. Dr Obed could see the issue I had and immediately had solutions. But the best part is he wanted to attack the problem conservatively starting with a facial wash and a daily cream. My rosacea is severe so we have had to go more aggressive, but I really appreciate the steady approach. Bedside manner is great and the staff are all awesome. Always friendly and welcoming. The lady at the front desk is a saint, I have seen her calmly and nicely handle some more difficult patients.
