I feel that an apprentice did my repair and James may not have even seen our board on the rack. A tail wrap for today's prices of 50-60 bucks (depending on the size) would seem fair and you just expect it to be water tight and go surf, but when you pay a premium price of 85.00$ I would have expected a little more artisan craftsmanship. They didn't even come close to matching the resin opaque. I know he makes quality boards and top notch repair, but it seems someone took a shortcut this time around.

The store is divided into sections for board care/rentals, they have curtained fitting space and a toilet. They even have helmets and ski shoes. The prices here for snow jackets/gear (have pants too) are definitely cheaper than other name brand outdoor places and good quality (150-200), even cheaper than some outlets (but im not too well versed in brand comparisons so dont quote me if you are seasoned). I I think accessories might be cheaper at outlets?, but its more convenient to get everything in one place. They have toe warmers and google covers. They even have the board conditions for different mountains written on a white board as if you were up there in a resort. It would be great if they had a diagram for beginners of what clothing items/essentials to get including accessories and thermal layers as the store overall is very approachable to a southern californian newbie. The only thing is that it is a bit hole in the wall, parking is a bit confusing as you do look like you're pulling up to an inn. Bought a ramp from OC Ramps with the promise it would be shipped in 5 days. Fast forward to 30 or so days later and the ramp is set to be delivered today. All is well until I get a call that the delivery company can't make it up to my house, his truck is too big. Note: Not every neighborhood can accommodate an 18 wheeler. Since I couldn't accommodate the delivery truck's window for a 2nd attempt the shipping company sent the ramp back to OC Ramps, informing me that I'd have to call them and schedule a new delivery. For better or worse in this waiting period my son hurts his ankle, aggravates an old injury. He decides maybe he doesn't want this (phantom) ramp after all. That's fine I think and call to cancel the order. They want me to pay $340 for shipping. That's a lot but ok, and oh yeah that's just cost for shipping TO my house. They also want me to pay return shipping. But wait, it was already returned to you guys, because delivery fell through because of the wrong truck guy. No you have to pay return shipping. AND IT WILL COST OVER $600. You guys are crazy, why would you have me pay this? It was already returned. Also, that's a questionably high shipping cost for a palette of wood. No you have to pay it. You have to pay $1000 in total for shipping costs on a ramp it took us a month to not actually deliver to you, a ramp that incidentally has already been returned because of a screw up by our delivery company. Add to that some disappointing customer service encounters and yeah these guys actually get no stars from me. $1000 delivery costs for a ramp they took a month to never actually deliver. In a word, sketch.
