Cons: - room ACs are not always running - at check in the AC was off, the floor was wet due to that and the fridge was sweating condensation. - Room phone is dead. Literally does not work. My tech husband couldn't get it working either. - TV needs the wifi in order to work - wifi is extremely spotty and while they give you the information immediately at check in, connection isn't going to be the best. - asked the front desk about damp rid or a dehumidifier and no to both then when I said well we will have to move if things don't fix after I try they were like uh huh. - no ice in any ice machine - no hand towels, only shower towels and 1 wash cloth - convention floor has fun looking games but everything is broken - trash all over that floor also Pros: - the room size is big - if you get a balcony, it makes the room shine a bit more and is inviting - coffee bar - fridge but it's a wine fridge but still works - there is a huge outdoor pool - aptly called the Hippo pool - great music, yet not always open. Heads up if you're with a group - they will check the entire group out even if you tell them not to and there will be a single check out after the rest of the group. I hope that this resort can improve.

Parking is absolutely atrocious there, especially for the handicapped, as there's only 6 spots & regular parking is quite a bit farther away. When there are events there that causes problems. We were placed in the wrong room. There are no microwaves in the rooms, only beverage refrigerators in the rooms, had to call for a TV remote as ours was missing & it takes forever for hot water. Just a few problems we had at the Regalia.

I must say, the final product is quite a beauty! Check-in was a little challenging because of misinformation, but that was the only bump in the road. My room was extremely spacious and clean. (Minus a little stain on the shower curtain). The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job preparing the room. (The water gets nice and hot, and there are a couple of settings on the shower head.) I was here for a conference, so I was all over the building! Some of the rooms were a little chilly, so make sure you have a light jacket on hand! The conference center was extremely accessible, as there was a skywalk to get from my room to the main building. I had three meals provided by the hotel (there are other eateries inside), and they were all delicious, and versatile. The hotel has a little snack shop that I purchased an ice cream cone from, it was a nice treat that I didn't know I needed. All in all, the facility was extremely clean, and most of the staff will speak in passing. -- I hope to come back to Margaritaville when it is warmer so I can take advantage of the beautiful lake, and other outdoor activities on the grounds. --Parking is kinda spread out, but there's plenty. This place is perfect for a nice in-state staycation. It's only 3 hours from Kansas City, and definitely worth the drive.

This review is about Timber Falls Indoor Waterpark…read more First. It ain't Schlitterbahn. But few water parks are. Timber Falls has lots of splashing fountains and waterfall cascades from a big water tank. There's slides, tubes, an obstacle course and a lazy river. Add a "sports pool" and a hot tub and you're covered. It's warm & steamy inside. For young kids this is a great way to burn some energy in dreary days. The snack bar has burgers, dogs & pizza. Even some beer for mom & dad to help them survive the chaos. If you're a guest of Tan-Tar-A the price might be included or reduced. If not. Be prepared. We dropped $56 for one kid and a grown-up. Fortunately, our youngest wasn't charged. I'd also note we were surprised there wasn't a lifeguard on site. Be prepared to watch your kids at all times. (Shouldn't we all know that?) Bottom line? The grandkids had fun. Isn't that what it's all about?

Simply know by locals in Sedalia as "The Barn" Heritage Ranch is indeed a barn, a barn constructed to look older than it is with a mix of recycled and new materials. In addition there are two. . .huts? One for the groom's wedding party and one for the brides. . .be warned. . .these are the only two areas with air conditioning and if you are going to have a wedding in anything other than winter that barn gets toasty. . .not toasty enough for me to dock a star but tosty enough for me to say that the family that ownes it might need to look into better cooling options than the random massive fans that were everywhere. . .pordable AC units are a thing. . . LADIES! The parking for the venu is a rock field, as in the roadway is made of loose rocks, bring flats or boots and switch to heels when you get to the barn. No really Don't try to do the lot in heels. Behind the barn sits a small play area for children that we found quite functional. Remember to READ what you are signing up for though because there is a lot of clean ups you will be responsible for, you turn everything back over the way you got it. Loved it, loved Sedalia A very good venue option for sure.

What was supposed to be a great round of golf on our 3rd day of playing different courses in the…read moreOzarks turned out to be a terrible experience thanks to Dave (pictured) and Tom. Between these 2 course Nazis we were rushed the whole time by the GPS on the carts, the ranger, and by Tom and Dave the whole time we golfed. We went aloud to have a 5-some so they split us up and paired 2 of our guys with 2 guys that work at the course. We got our carts locked up by their GPS system multiple times and once one of our carts was locked solid for over 10 minutes. Thank goodness some local members came along and called the office and got us unlocked so we could continue playing. Mind you, this got locked up on a cart path. We offered to let the locals play through and they wouldn't. They said they weren't in a hurry and to take our time as it was our first time here. The cart GPS kept telling us to pick up our pace. One of our guys was so mad about being paired up with the course workers he wanted to leave at the end of 9 holes so the other guy wanted to join us at the turn to make us a 4-some. So at the turn we came to the clubhouse and talked to the cart guys and told them what was going on and asked if it would be a problem if we waited. They said no problem, go inside and grab a beverage and a bite to eat and they would get us going after they joined us and make the back 9 a better experience. We went in and grabbed a bite, which was a very overpriced dried out burger and a Powerade (no alcohol was consumed by our group the whole day BTW). As I was eating my dried out burger Nazi Dave came over and told us we needed to get back out there. I explained we were waiting to pick up our 4th guy and he still barked that we needed to get moving. Meanwhile the locals that were behind us came into the clubhouse and were offered a menu by the staff to order from. We go outside and as our guys come up the hill. Before we could even see what was going on Tom comes out on the deck and starts telling us to either get back out there or leave. He had 3 holes with no one on them so if we were going we needed to go now. I tried to explain what was going on and he said he didn't care he had 3 holes that needed to be filled. We proceeded as a 3-some to the next hole and our other 2 decided to continue to play with the course workers as well. We then started playing a best ball format to help speed up our play. We were playing at a fast clip and yet the cart GPS kept telling us we were behind and needed to pick up the pace. On one of the back holes a ranger came by and said "hey, Dave called him and said you are doing a good job with your pace" and yet our cart keeps telling us we were 11 minutes behind pace. Now, here's some fun info, while we are playing we saw 2 5-somes and even a 6-some playing the course! There was also no one behind us for several holes and no one ahead of us either. We kept up our best ball pace and on the 8th hole we finally came up on a 4-some. We had to wait on them to finish their hole only to find out it was our other 2 guys and the course workers that somehow got ahead of us and we caught them. We finished our round and went back to the clubhouse to find our guys had 2 more holes to play still. I went into the clubhouse to the pro shop and waited until no one else was in there to talk to Dave about our experience. I informed him that they have a great course, the cart guys, ranger and bar staff were friendly but because of him and Tom we would never be back to play this course! The two of them made this a miserable experience! There were so many ways this could have been handled and still made it a fun day but they choose to be dicks the whole time. I guess they are just sour on life because they didn't have what it takes to be a professional golfer on tour and they have to take it out on the rest of us and show everyone that they are the big shots around there. Well, Tom and Dave, I will never be back and I'll make it my mission to let everyone I come in contact with know about you and how you treat people. FYI I was sent a comment from someone from the course (Name not given) saying that they were sorry for our experience but their GPS system was not working properly when we were there and that they never allow groups of 5 to play and they monitor the carts to keep the pace of play going. Now obviously they didn't read my review where we saw 2 groups of 5 and a group of 6 playing on the course at different holes throughout the day. Plus the only time we even had anyone close to us is when one of our carts got locked up from their GPS system and a group of local memebers ended up calling the clubhouse to get it unlocked. We then offered to let them play through and they declined! So how can that be our fault when they will not play through? If they knew their GPS system was having issues maybe you should cut people some slack instead of constantly sending messgage to the screen on our carts!!!
