I've been going here for years now and it's a shame the reviews below dont do it justice. Yes, it is a bit run down. Seriously though, the place is in Webster... For anyone expecting the Ritz they are extremely delusional. The owner is a bit odd but if you ever went to Waterfronts when Mary and Magoo were the owners, you would know that this only adds to the appeal of the place. As far as service goes, do yourself a favor and stay away from the young waitress who is related to the owner. She'll spend more time playing with her hair and texting inside the restaurant then she will helping her customers. the service at this place was terrible. Me and some others were there for an hour before a waiter came and asked if we wanted drinks. But we said we wanted to order food so we did. 45 minutes later, we were told our food should be out very soon. I set a timer, and our food came 20 minutes later while we were leaving the place. so the service is terrible. the food on the other hand, I cannot say because we waited way too long so we left and could not eat. the tables that you sit at were very uncomfortable with the lakeside view. I am not impressed! Was a beautiful summer day so figured I would try this place since it is on the waterfront. Walking inside my first thought is what is the theme of this restaurant? They have a life-size Frankenstein near the bathrooms, some sports memorabilia and are currently painting a wall size mural of The wizard of Oz on the wall you say as soon as you enter. After that the place looks dirty and is dirty! The food menu is not that appealing with mostly frozen fried dishes. How can a waterfront place not have shrimp cocktail? The only thing that was appealing was French onion soup not because it was a hot summer day because the only thing I liked on the menu. The taste of the soup wasn't bad but salad croutons and a plastic cereal bowl? Really? We attempted to order several mixed drinks, only to be told they were out of them because they were busy the day before. Does a waterfront place during peak of summer only stock enough popular spirit for one day worth of business? The outside deck area shows that it hasn't been cleaned in a while, evident by the large dirty window overlooking the back deck. Only reason for one star rating was the super nice waitress we had. Ok food. Out of a couple of apps. early on a Sunday. Waitress was inattentive. Bathroom was filthy! Good deck to get pub food and drinks.

First Time and last time here ;attempted to take my daughter for lunch ,figured a nice sunny day by the water for lunch .the water was lovely and the lovely ends there :be sure to be ready to seat yourself and find yourself a menu and patiently wait for someone to acknowledge you .(people that came in behind us asked if you have to go find someone ;to order a drink :ummm yes if you want one !)service is a bunch of kids that are too busy shooting the shit to acknowledge you which didn't even bother me as I'm on vacation ,however the food came which was nasty and the waitress never came back ,like at all !!! next time I saw her I was trying to find her to pay my bill ;2 nasty sandwiches which we did not eat and 2 drinks $40 !! I went there Sat night with my husband. Never had been there before and didn't know you seat yourself unitl we finally asked after being ignored by barmaid and staff. We sat outside which was really nice however getting waited on was another story. Only 3 tables had people out on the deck but the waitress never came over to us and didn't even look our way. Worst service I have had in ages. Says open until 11. Get there at 7:30 and 4 waitresses are counting their money at open table in restaurant area. The deck was open but owner says if you want a drink go to bar yourself. At the bar the owner request cash only cause waitresses are all tipping out. How's that my problem? We can wait for the bill. I would not recommend Waterfront Mary's to anyone. First off when we got there after dinner time there were several tables on the patio that were dirty and had to be cleaned off. So we asked the waitress to clean off a table for us which she did by taking all the bottles off the table and then using a rag that I don't think had been cleaned in days to wipe off the table. All the food that was on the table she just pushed right off the edge onto the deck where would we would be sitting. Half of the crumbs were still on the table when she was done wiping it. She then threw the menus on top of it looking like that. She then came back five minutes later to take our drink water. My boyfriend ordered a Captain and Coke. She told us they did not have Captain Morgan. What kind of bar does not have one of the most popular liquors? They had some knockoff brand that we have never even heard of. Needless to say we stayed for one drink and left. The place would be a goldmine if it was under the right management. The appearance on the deck was so tacky. Everything was sponsored by Budweiser. The tables, the umbrellas, the walls on the edge of the deck were all Budweiser emblems. Such a disappointment! read more

Save your money! This dump doesn't deserve your hard earned money. Place wasn't busy at all considering it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We should have taken that as a hint right out the gate. After seating ourselves we waited 17 minutes for a server to take our drink order and that was only because we literally grabbed her as she walked right by us for the tenth time after seating ourselves. After taking our initial order she came back to our table 3 times to tell us that they didn't have the beer we were ordered. No Miller High Life, no Yuengling, no PBR. After 28 minutes since we initially sat down our beverages were finally brought to our table and that was only because the server saw us collecting our things to leave. Server gave us a menu and although the menu had about a dozen appetizer options and 6 sandwich options, the server gave us a list of 7 or 8 options that they were out of. Pretty much down to chicken wings, chicken tenders, hot dogs and mozz sticks. Server apologizes by saying "Because of Rock the Dock we will have a very limited menu until after Memorial Day". AFTER Memorial Day?! How do you run a business with no food to offer your customers for almost 2 weeks?! Furthermore, the place was filthy, tables and stools were in very bad shape and none of the staff wear any type of uniform, not even tees with a logo. What was more disturbing was that the useless owner was sitting at a table slugging down cocktails!
