I paid right away, as I am always asked to do, and then I got settled on the bed. The massage was decent at first... until suddenly the entire staff began arguing at peak volume. There were 3 other customers trying to enjoy services. I had to ask not once but three times for them to stop yelling at each other. It went on for almost the rest of my massage which was about 30 mins. Due to the staff infighting my massage therapist became distracted and began what I can only describe as "petting" for the remainder of the massage. Too busy talking to actually give the massage. That was only the beginning. When my massage ended I sat up with a strange knowing...it was too early. I looked at my phone and sure enough, it was only 4:24. I realize 6 minutes is a not a long time, but 90 mins is 90 mins. I have never had someone stop early to prepare for the next client. My masseuse argued that he needed to stop early because there was someone waiting. Sorry, but that's not how it works. Don't sell a 90 minute massage if you don't intend on providing 90 minutes of service. Then, to make matters even worse, the man at the front desk asked for my credit card claiming he needed to charge me. Confused, I explained that I had already paid. I actually pulled up my banking app in order to show him the charge from when I had first walked in. He said "look it says 'pending', that means we didn't charge you!" Clearly this man has never used a credit card processing machine before. I refuse to give him my card as I explained to him that he had, in fact, already charged me. He said "well, we will just charge you tomorrow". Then hell you will, sir. Typically there is a very knowledgeable and friendly guy working the front desk (the manager) and I'm sure this would not have happened had he been there but it certainly left me with a creepy feeling. I did speak to the manager who was off site on this day. He apologized for the experience and credited me $10 for the lost time. Oddly enough, the front desk person still continued to ask for payment as I was leaving. I will be back as I believe this was a one-off. And I commend the manger for addressing it with me over the phone. Still, super weird trip to Happy Feet.

Read the reviews - not just the "highlighted" ones. Because there are alot of bad reviews here -…read morenot what one would expect from a salon which has been around so long. The reviews show a consistent amateur or professionalism and the salon and staff either over charging people OR shaming people into paying for poor service/haircut/pedicure. I had the same experience. Don't do it. The modest prices are a way to entice people but they are manageable because they do not pay for professional or well trained stylists (and so don't have to pay them much). People like Flavia I am sure who are qualified left because why work for peanuts when you are skilled. If you want a BASIC TRIM or STRAIGHT SIMPLE haircut - fine. But you are still overpaying. Because even if Annie is good - she is only one person you are not going to get her. You are going to get a very poorly trained person who is not the skill level most would expect from a salon. This is more like a nail place which has Aveda products. Its not a sophisticated place for haircuts. I can't imagine the concern I would have getting a color. I personally thought like other reviewers here - she was completely unapologetic - for a haircut which was exactly NOT what I asked for and she tried to gaslight me. (After being insulted by the "stylist" that the reason I my HAIR didn't look like the pictures I showed the "stylist" was because I was older than the model). This is a big chance you are taking. For me - I had to get my hair redone it was so bad and that cost another $200. It is not worth the pain and suffering. Don't fall for the Sag Harbor "cute" element. Everyone wants to look their best - and everyone deserves better than this! That's the point of a "master stylist" - to help you look your best.
