Very vague, didn't say whether she just wasn't available and mistakenly had that day on her calendar or maybe she didn't service teenagers. No explanation, and it would've been nice to know why. Such as "I'm sorry I made myself available on Vagaro but I'm actually not working that day, is there another day you can do?" Or "I do not provide services to those under 18." That's just a poor business practice. My daughter and I were in the market for a new esthetician to do our facials and waxing, as our regular esthetician is a bit far of a drive for us. Looking elsewhere, surely someone else would like our business.

She is booked out quiet a while but I had patience and it paid off. I see Kelly every 6-8 weeks for a facial. Her salon is cozy and inviting, cooler months the bed is heated. Kelly takes her time and reviews what I am using and what if any problems I am having to create services to meet my needs. I would probably be up for anything but Kelly doesn't push un-needed services or products on me. I love the raspberry refining scrub (by Skin Script,) I picked up in the salon. I had an awful experience with Dr. David Cruz. They gave me a body scan each visit which was not something I requested. When the scan showed I had gained some fat between sessions, Dr. Cruz was extremely condescending and implied that there was something wrong with me/my lifestyle. Im not sure why he felt the need to tell me how HE felt about MY body unprompted. My primary care doctor thinks I am a healthy weight and I have a healthy BMI. Health is my number one priority so his opinion affected me a lot at the time. I think this was beyond unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable given we were in a setting where cosmetic procedures are sold. I never said I wanted to change anything about my body, all I was there for was reducing genetic neck fat. After some reflection, I can't help but feel like Dr. Cruz was trying to plant seeds of insecurity to try to push sales.
