I've had this company for about 4 years. We have a rainsoft system for our well that they installed and service yearly. My well water without the system is terrible as it has sulpher and all kinds of mineral debris. Without the system the water cannot be used. The rainsoft system purifies it without us having to do anything. It runs nightly on a schedule to clean the water. Such a simple system that makes life easier. If I need anything or have questions, waterboy staff are friendly and helpful and quick at responding. I also had them install a hot water heater. The price and service is better than retail stores. The last thing they just helped me with was I had no water suddenly. They fit me into their schedule quickly and tested everything. I ended up needing a well pump. The guys were really great. The office staff was really helpful keeping me updated on processes such as ordering parts and getting the well report. The team came out to my house in the evening to install and fix the everything so that I would have water by morning and worked really late into the night. Thanks to all of them for having the best customer service and really caring about us. I highly recommend this company for anything they do with water systems, wells, water heaters, etc. It's nice to have a reliable, honest, and responsive company. read more

I requested service from WaterBoy for my Rainsoft Water Softener system after it stopped functioning. The technician came without the customary advance call or text, did not cover shoes till asked to do so and sauntered in and out of the house several times just adding time to the period spent for service. Eventually he figured out what to do and fixed the problem. However, the company charged excessive charges for the initial service call and for the unnecessary extra time added. Just trying to fleece a customer! Not the best of business ethics. read more

I called for an estimate for a Rainsoft system. The salesman explained each water test that he conducted and the results of the tests. He provided the quote for the system we needed. As a previous review from another client posted, he did not attempt to sell me something that I did not need. I am familiar with Rainsoft so I was prepared for the sticker shock, as it is an expensive system. However, your water will be perfect. The following week the installation team installed the softener unit and explained it's functioning. Hopefully follow up service will be as seamless as this initial installation. When I called the following week for technical support on a system I have in a second home, they were very informative, stated that my system has a lifetime warranty and that they would send me the O-ring kit needed to fix my leaking valve at no cost. Unfortunately, my second home is outside of their general service area. read more

The lie about test results to get as high of priced equipment into your home. Watch them carefully. When doing repairs, they will say they cleaned flushed, and inspected system. In reality all they do is put it on a long regen, and walk away. Then charge you 400 to do so. You can do it yourself if you read the owners guide. RIP OFF read more

I have had nothing but problems with this system and when I would call to report my issues it would take a couple of days before I was able to get assistance. When I called in about the black mold that is only on their system I was told to scrub it with clorox bleach. This is not a system I would recommend. RUN!!! I had Roy (the water boy) install a Rainsoft system in my house in Culpeper County 19 years ago. I needed it to remove iron and manganese. Their price was quite reasonable and they did a great job. They've been good at maintaining it yearly as well. After all of these years it no longer effectively filters the iron. It's time to have the greensand media replaced. I'll be happy to have them be the ones to do this work as well. read more

this company came through with all their promises, which is rare to find! their customer service and installation team are excellent and professional. we love their water system and our water and ice cubes made by it are exceptional! our daughter brings water bottles from home to drink at school because she doesn't like other water now. I never thought there could be such a thing as a water coinsure, but we have become one, since we have such good water at home! I would recommend their services to everyone! read more
