Instead, they expect very young kids to conform to a rigid teaching style, regardless of how it affects them. I eventually requested to cancel our membership. I hadn't planned to share how disappointed I was, I just wanted to walk away quietly. But when the receptionist pressed for a reason, I calmly explained that it simply wasn't a good fit for my family. Her response? She told me my 3-year-old daughter was "too sensitive." That was not only completely unprofessional, but also incredibly inappropriate. I wasn't asking for feedback. I was trying to protect my child from an environment where the teacher was far too serious for a toddler and clearly not the right match. Swimming should be fun, especially at this age. Period. This place missed the mark, and then doubled down on the failure by dismissing a parent's concern. We won't be back.

When we decided to stop attending, management showed no willingness to offer a refund--instead, they only provided a credit for future use. What they don't make clear is that using that credit later requires paying a new enrollment fee, which feels very misleading. Overall, we're frustrated with both the lack of results and the poor customer service.

We only walked through the front door so this is not a full review…read more We showed up with our 2 kids because it says online that this gym has a Kids Club. We walked through the doors to the smell of old building/old gym smell to then find out there Isnt a Kids Club at this location anymore. We will not be able to come to this location.

My boyfriend and I joined Crunch in Eagle because we just wanted something simple and affordable…read more Big mistake. They call constantly, trying to push us into meeting with their "fitness manager," which is just a sales trap for outrageously overpriced personal training sessions nobody asked for. It feels less like a gym and more like a telemarketer with dumbbells. The place is filthy. My boyfriend used the men's showers one time and will never do it again. He said the floors were covered in this greenish slime, slippery even with shower shoes. Health-code-who? The machines aren't much better. One of them literally loosens the pin while you use it, so you're constantly resetting it unless you want to get launched into orbit. (If I wanted a surprise flight, I'd at least book Delta. That's the joke. Don't hurt me.) On top of that, their "cheap" membership isn't actually cheap. You can't sign up for the basic tier without paying over $100 in fees, BUT during the trial they'll happily steer you into the $30/month plan because that one has no sign-up fees. Classic bait-and-switch. Their class schedule is a joke unless you're unemployed or live in a different time dimension. Almost everything is during normal work hours. And the massage chairs they brag about? They're basically mall massage chairs someone threw a purple LED on. If you only need a place to swipe in and lift some weights, and you don't mind grime, upsells, or random mechanical hazards, then maybe it's worth it. For anyone expecting something clean, honest, or remotely professional... absolutely not.

While in the kiddie pool, my daughter went into the deep end and she walked out too far and could not reach the bottom. She went under for a few seconds while I watched from afar. This all happened while a lifeguard was standing by and her 2 instructors were in the water next to her talking to each other. I had to yell at them to get their attention and then they slowly came over like it wasn't a big deal. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Totally unacceptable! Do your job!

This is a decent public pool. Plenty of life guards. They change stations about every ten minutes…read moreso as to not become bored with their watch. Very smart! The baby pool (generally for ages 5 and under) is warm and shallow; but the really thoughtful feature is the large umbrellas shading the baby pool. Many babies skin just don't tolerate sunscreen; and these guys get that! They rent out noodle floats for .50 cents because other than wearable floats, floatation toys are not allowed, although you can bring your own water noodle. They also sell candy and quick energy snacks. There is an ice cream shack just outside of the entrance, but you must consume it outside of the pool premises. There is no food (other than the little candy they sell) allowed inside the pool area. I wish they would enforce this a bit more strictly. There are too many times I've stepped on chips, or sandwich crusts from ghetto slobs and their children who can't seem to go a couple hours without food. My real reason for the missing star is they are only open a couple hours at a time. Yes, the admission is very affordable, but the late afternoon hours make it difficult for those of us who like to swim early on the day or make a day thing of lounging by the pool.

I signed up for…read moreprivate lessons and was contacted the evening before asking if we could switch times and when we arrived no one was there and our lesson started 10 minutes late, I had booked two private lessons but ultimately my kids had to share an instructor for the first half of lessons and then were finally split up so we really didn't get the benefit of two private lessons but had to still pay as if we received two private lessons. Then I signed my kids up for group lessons, my daughter who is in level 2 had a great experience whereas my son in level 1 was left unattended in the small wading area the majority of the time and had less than five minutes of instruction time and otherwise was completely unattended playing. I decided to give it another shot and signed up for an additional month of lessons and the first lesson I signed up for although it was advertised as March on the site ultimately when I purchased it showed February in the Email confirmation so my enrollment was not active, but the charge was in my account. I immediately emailed to get it corrected as February lessons had already ended and we had already attended them but received no reply. I went ahead and signed my other child up for March lessons and after a week and several emails and voicemails that had not had any reply I went ahead and signed my son up for the March lessons in order to secure a spot while still trying to remedy the situation. Two weeks later, six emails, two voicemails and multiple texts later I received only response via text with a promise to resolve the duplicate of charge which ultimately was never resolved and none of my emails were ever replied to once. There is often last-minute communication about being shortstaffed, classes that need to change times and all sorts of chaos it seems to be happening all the time and they apparently don't monitor the email system whatsoever or just make a choice not to reply to people. I think the instruction in private lessons is good, but the chaos of working with this company isn't worth it.
