I've been here several times for drinks. I always order the tower fries. They taste like chili cheese fries on steroids. They are really fresh and super filling. You can definitely share these. We enjoyed a really nice birthday dinner for my niece, as she turned 18. Ashlyn was our server, great, with a large party, sometimes it's tough to accommodate but she was on it, came back constantly checking on us, and was very patient as well. Bug thumbs up for the Sangria! The place is pretty big, they have both an upstairs and a patio in the back. Service was pretty good, fast and courteous. Had the fried chicken sando with fries which was pretty darn good and the garlic shrimp - darn good as well. I had a great time here at brunch yesterday with the ladies! I would definitely recommend the Water Tower Kitchen for a fun weekend brunch spot. The ambiance is trendy (they even have plushy chairs in different colors!) and chic, and I really enjoyed the food and drinks. In addition, they have plenty of TV's all around for the guys (and gals!) to watch sports. So the Water Tower Kitchen takes over the place that used to be The Spot. I decided to go with the Water Tower breakfast, which is their classic All-American breakfast with eggs, sourdough bread, potatoes, and bacon. For mimosas, I was impressed with the number of flavors they had (I think like 5? Orange, peach, guava, grapefruit, watermelon). Don't bother with a reservation. Made a reservation at 6:00pm, for 6:45pm. Showed on time and was told it would be another 35 minutes bc the reservations made before me, would take precedents. I was then placed on a waitlist ?!?! Hostess was no help or apologetic. Not sure I'd try here again. @Mildred - thanks for clarifying. This place has really good food. I've only been here twice as I don't live nearby. The bartender, Courtney has a great attitude. Even though she was busy she served me quickly and made the recommendation to add slaw to the spicy chicken sando which was FIRE. This place is killer and they have my favorite drink. First timer here and not only is this place very Instagram worthy, their food matches that energy. They were very accommodating for a large group on a busy Sunday which we are super grateful for because we were celebrating a birthday. We were also very VERY late for our reservation time and they didn't even get annoyed with us lol. Water Tower Kitchen used to be a fun night time spot.. now a cute trendy restaurant. The decor is so nice, lovely chairs, gigantic theater style tv's on the walls, which could make it too sports bar feeling but they seem to keep it classy. My friend and i wanted to share a few items so we could try more. We started with the hummus appetizer, it came with cucumber slices and pita bread for dipping. Absolutely so delicious! The hummus was smooth, flavorful and there was a tasty tomato salad on top. We next shared a beer and goat cheese salad, and our waiter was kind enough to split it for us, really cool of her. So we both got a smaller equal portion of the salad. The combo of mixed greens, goat cheese, beets both roasted and pickled was great. Awesome addition was the crunchy quinoa. Last, we shared an impossible burger. I wanted me friend to try this so she'd know how amazing this plant based burger is. It was grilled up perfectly and it's just incredible how good it tastes. Overall we had a great visit at water tower kitchen. We walked right in around 730 on a Monday night, not too busy in the place but it wasn't a ghost town. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures but the food, drinks, and service were on par. Started with Brussel sprouts and queso fondido to start. The queso was okay, not amazing but the brussel sprouts were bomb, spicy too. Our party had to burger with bacon, Philly cheesesteak, and spicy chicken sandwich. Individually each was full of flavor and hearty. We had two drinks each and we got our fill of flavor and alcohol. We'll come back for sure because we got our moneys worth on all fronts! read more

Aloha! Finally a place in the South Bay with a decent Loco Moco. I travel to Hawaii a few times a year and always look forward in having a good Loco Moco for breakfast or brunch. For those who unfamiliar with this Hawaiian creation; it's a beef patty, sunny side up egg over white rice with brown gravy all over! The Loco Moco at Water Tower Kitchen would satisfy any local Hawaiian. The atmosphere also has that Hawaiian vibe. There are also so many other good ono grindz and cocktails to enjoy as well. I usually come Sunday mornings and then venture out to the farmer's market the next block over. Impossible Burger $18: Kind Of ironically, I picked off all the veggie toppings so just had the burger with goat cheese and aioli. Pretty solid. Just wish it wasn't so pricey. Guess plants are expensive. I prefer skinny fries so these weren't my favorite ever, but I still couldn't resist munching on them despite still being pretty full from my lunch earlier than day. Downtown Mac & Cheese $11: This was really rich. I already wasn't that hungry anymore by the time this came out, but it also wasn't mind blowing enough that I wanted to make myself eat it anyways. Made reservations for the patio for a Sunday brunch. The patio area is so cute! Love the setup, really fun place for a brunch with the girls. I ordered the Lily's Rose Punch, which was refreshing and tasty! Not too sweet at all, and I love the garnish of fresh cucumber, strawberry, and lychee. It's also BEAUTIFUL. It felt like I was on vacation while I was sipping on it! So fun. As for food, I ordered the Impossible burger, which came with a side of fries. I thought the fries were so yummy! Perfectly crisp on the outside and seasoned well. The Impossible burger was delicious as well. I love the creamy goat cheese it comes with, and the bun was so soft and pillowy. The plant based meat was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Besides the food being tasty, the service was EXCELLENT. Our waitress was so sweet and kept checking up on us.
