However, here at the new location in Glen Carbon, that is not the case. There's nothing nearby, but the positive is the layout and space of the store is so much better. Browsing the GB makes you feel like you are shopping, RH or Pottery Barn. Also, I am a big fan of Olive and Cocoa, a mail order catalog. My most recent visit, I found several items from the catalog, in TGB and I'd rather buy local, then from a major catalog. This store is amazing, the staff is always eager to help. If you shop like me and don't need help, they are cool with that, too. I can spend my money, without any help. If you're decorating your home, or if you need a gift for mom, your BFF and the school teacher, I'm telling you to come here and shop. I challenge anyone to come here and try to leave without buying something. You'll always find an item you gotta have.

They scheduled far out so I asked if I could book the surgery and lose the weight as I waited. The doctor said yes but when I called back it was a whole different story. He barely examined me at all so I have no idea how he even determined what was needed. I thought I would have to remove the robe and was prepared to be embarrassed but he barely parted it and took a glance and was done. When I protested later I was told I was not a good fit for his practice and they gave me back my consultation fee and wanted nothing more to do with me. I realize I am older, heavy and never going to look like I did when I was young but I told him I only wanted to look better in my clothes and my expectations were modest. I did have the procedure with a doctor who cared and I now feel much better about myself. I recommend you find someone with more compassion for us non-Barbie types.
