Lots of parking and it's on the water option to dine in or outside we sat inside. Savannah was waitress and she was great. Pleasant greeting and quick on the drink orders. Responded to questions - we ordered and even though they had a good crowd it wasn't a long wait for food. All orders were correct, good large portions. The grilled shrimp skewers were pretty good, fried okra app was really good. Gumbo had a good spicy kick - not bad. Overall, happy we stopped in and appreciated the great service from Savannah and no waiting for table.

When we arrived, we requested a table by the front window so we could be away from the walkway where dogs pass through the restaurant. The hostess told us she would do her best to accommodate our request after about a 45-minute wait. When our table was ready, another hostess, Alley, seated us at the back of the restaurant instead. When my mother pointed out that the front window table was still empty, Alley told us it was reserved for an interview. Later, I walked by and saw that same table occupied by another party. When I questioned Alley, her explanation suddenly changed to "confusion." To make matters worse, the manager, John, later confirmed there was no interview taking place that evening. We were given multiple, inconsistent explanations for why we couldn't have the table we requested. As African American customers, it was troubling to be told the table was unavailable, only to later see a white party seated there after we had been told it was reserved. I cannot say why that happened, but I can say it left us questioning whether we were treated fairly. What disappointed me even more was management's response. Rather than acknowledging our concerns, John repeatedly defended the hostess and offered different explanations instead of simply apologizing. Although our meal was eventually comped, neither Alley nor John apologized for what happened. I later emailed management describing the incident in detail and never received a response. Ignoring a customer after an experience like this only reinforces the impression that our concerns were not taken seriously. Customer service begins long before the food reaches the table. Honesty, respect, and accountability matter. Unfortunately, we did not receive those that evening. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

We arrived early around 4:30 so we were seated immediately by a cheerful host. Our waiter Allen was so nice and attentive. Our food was delivered right on time after the appetizer. The hubs had the Ahi Tuna with sautéed mushrooms and I had the Cajun Ribeye which came with 3 good sized grilled shrimp and both meals included a loaded baked potato. Appetizer was cheese dip with homemade tortilla chips and a complimentary small loaf of baked bread. Next time we will try the outside seating when temperatures are cooler.

When we first sat down , however, she did mention to us the specials and told us the number one thing they sell was a certain steak on the menu..... it was $88. That kinda turned me off from the beginning. We ordered calamari to start.... Frozen calamari with zero flavor, tasted like Costco. Horrible texture. We decided to share the american pharaoh which was almost $60 but seemed like a lot of food. The steak was over cooked and was not a steak of that price. We both thought it tasted exactly like the Costco filets we buy and grill at home. The crab cake on top was for sure a frozen crab cake with not a lot of crab. Was just not good at all. For desert we got the chocolate cake. It was decent but definitely not a homemade dessert. Our bill, before tip, was $150. This meal, To us, wasn't worth $50. I would not recommend this place. The bathroom closest to us was connected to a bar and was so gross. The place has zero ambiance and the food was terrible. We will not be back.

Both were excellent. The Gator Bites came with a sauce that was amazing! Our server brought us a couple cups to take home. Husband and I had the Thin Catfish (that wasn't what it was called but it was thin!) with fries (crispy fries) hush puppies and I had baked sweet potato and he had salad. The hushpuppies were really good. (That's how we judge a catfish house. LOL). The couple with us had the thin catfish platter with fries and gumbo and she had the Bourbon glazed Salmon with salad and baked sweet potatoe. Honestly, we had no complaints. Server kept our glasses full. (Honestly I can't remember about the ambiance cause it was 3 days ago. And as long as a place is clean I'm happy). Make a point to stop in. Check their days/hours of operation first. You will not be disappointed! We were so full we didn't even look at the desserts. sorry!
