I called and they were available right away. When I asked their prices they were higher than my usual places so I felt that it was legit. I couldn't have been more wrong. Red Flag #1: Entry is at the rear of the plaza, not the street side. Red Flag #2: She asked for payment up front. I was supposed to get $20 change but she said since I'm the first customer she would have to go to the store next door to get my change Red Flag #3: Calls me "baby" Red Flag #4-99: The massage was really just her gliding her hands over my body with baby oil. When I asked for harder she went from gliding to literally pounding. She complained that "I'm not strong". At this point I was ready to leave and then she asked me to turn over. Here she says that she pays for the room and that she wants a $20 "tip" (the $20 I was supposed to get in change). She tells me she will give me pleasure for the $20, or not, either way she was keeping the $20. I declined. I was sore and came for pain, not a handy. Then she became abusive and tried to talk me up for more money. She said "I want you happy" so I said, give me my money back. At this point I was so mad I just got up and left. So if you want a handy from a random woman then this is a place you can go to. Be prepared to be robbed though.

We called ahead and they were able to accommodate same day massages for my mother-in-law and me…read more When you get there, there's a rack of clean slippers for you to change into, a rack for outside shoes, and a bin of used slippers for when you're leaving. The front desk offered us bottled water when we checked in but there's also some lemon water at a self-service station. They placed us in the same room so that we could chat during the massages if we would like. They ask that you strip down to your underwear and knock to make sure you're ready and under the blanket before they come in. There was a good variety of massage lengths you could choose from. We did a 45 minute massage this time, but I'd like to do a longer massage whenever we return as it didn't feel like there was enough time/focus on certain parts of the body. The feet was just a quick two pounds of their fist, which didn't really do much for us. I had CeCe and my mother-in-law had KiKi. Overall, the massage was nice. They used oil and a combination of their hands and elbows. The pressure started off too light for me, so I asked her to go harder. She noted she was afraid to go too hard, so I told her not to be. There was a bit of a communication barrier with my mother-in-law, but I was able to translate.

UPDATE to my review Aug 2023: RECEPTIONIST STILL BAD!…read more I was temped to go again, but I surveyed two people coming out the door in Dec 2023. Their feet massages "just ok"...but they did NOT like reception / greeter woman (heard her have negative attitude). They referred me to other places they use in Vaughan and Markham. ATTENTION OWNER: you don't seem to care....no replies to bad reviews. How sad for you. ------------- AUG 2023: Comfort Zone on Warden called me after appointment asking for a bigger tip. Who does that! I've been going there for years and have given Vivian (an excellent foot masseuse) a generous tip... but this time I did not.... for 2 reasons: 1 - I arrived early to find front desk lady and Vivian right outside the front door both smoking. This was a shock and it is a disgusting habit, so during my 45 minute foot massage, I struggled with the idea of her hands on my feet right after she smoked. 2 - The front desk reception lady was rude, has been in the past, when I asked about the TV not working properly... she dismissed my request. Then it was her that called me after I left, asking for a bigger tip, but never asked me why such a small tip, then she said "never book Vivian again". I am very sensitive to smokers, others could be allergic, and it is a vile and bad health habit and should be kept private, and at least done outside their back door which I know other staff go to... I would never book Vivian again because of her unfortunate smoking habit then touching my feet or body, but mostly the front desk lady is rude, has an attitude, and I truly hope the owner reads this post and takes action to correct this staffing issue... There are other posts citing similar problem with her...all other staff have been nice over the years. I have shared this story with 4 other people that were clients at Warden, and they said they will not go back to this location. We found a few other decent places.

It's like the foot massage you would get at the nail salon, but extended. As soon as we entered, I noticed the nice aroma of the spa. We took off our shoes and wore flip-flops and were directed to our room. We chose the hour long service which included a shoulder massage and a foot massage. Overall, I had a good experience. I would definitely go for another foot massage somewhere near my area.

This was the first time I've been to a spa so I wasn't sure what to expect. We arrived 15 mins early to our appointment - we did not have to wait long to get our room. We changed out of our clothes and got underneath the towel till our masseuses knocked and came in to start the massage. There was a language barrier as the masseuses spoke Mandarin and just a bit of English. We had to signal to apply less pressure as they were both applying a lot of pressure in the beginning of the massage. They also asked if we wanted oil for the massage. We had booked a one hour massage and I believe they ended right on time. For an hour I just focused on the music in the background and the gentle massage on my back, neck, legs, arms, and head. The spa was clean and a peaceful environment. Massages were reasonably priced and I was told the tip was split 50/50 between the masseuses. Note these are not RMTs though so they can't be claimed if you're looking to use insurance benefits from work. The spa is centred for massages only, so there are no additional amenities if you are looking for a place to lounge and relax around afterwards. We got our massage and promptly left after paying. I did feel more relaxed after the massage. It's a bit further out from where I am so not sure if I would go out of my way to visit. Would recommend if you're nearby!

Clean & tidy studio and very affordable rates, but that's all the nice things I can say. I paid $60 for a 60-minute deep tissue massage, and I left with a VERY sore back--a soreness that did not exist before. The massage was painful, and not in a good way. The masseuse rubbed my bones more than my muscles. 30% of the hour was spent smoothing lotion over my back and arms with no real muscle targeting. She also kept accidentally scraping her nails against my skin, which was just abrasive and painful. At some points, she left the room with no warning, and then would return like nothing happened. One of the times she returned, she said nothing and I was surprised by having hot, wet towels plopped on my back. She gave no indication beforehand to prepare me. The end of the massage was her tapping my head really hard, and then she stopped abruptly and said, "done." I was disoriented and confused, and she then said, "one hour? done. bye!" and left the room very rushed. Then, the music (which had been playing in the room off and on, with sudden stops) suddenly changed to an advertisement being played over the speaker. Not very relaxing. After the hour was complete, I was about to head out (I had already paid online), but the lady at the front said "you have to tip!" I was caught off-guard, but she repeated it. She told me that a normal tip is $10-$20 for a $60 massage, so I paid $15, but after leaving the place, I realized I only tipped because I felt pressured to. I left feeling worse than I did when I went in, and the fact that she ordered us to tip was just rude. I will say, at least it was significantly cheaper than the other massage places I could find. $60 for an hour isn't nothing, but at least it wasn't $120 like the other places. The studio seemed clean and tidy. It's just that the service itself was not only disappointing but actually painful. I don't recommend.
