AMAZING! My Well Pump stopped working... They showed up with 30 minutes (good luck) and Dennis had a crew out an hour later to replace the entire system. The quote they gave me was fair and honest, especially considering another company gave me a higher quote claiming the pump was underground. Dennis assured me the pump was NOT underground, a very honest admission that saved me hundreds of dollars, if not more! After some problems were discovered in the install process, Dennis and Water Dr worked with me to make the unexpected costs more reasonable. He then sent me a detailed invoice that included a warranty, easing any concerns I might have about future issues. He was positive and helpful throughout, answered all my questions and never seemed annoyed, rushed or frustrated by a first-time well-owning homeowner. Our water went out in the morning and Water Doctor was at my house when I got out of work. Quick turnaround. After reviewing it, they found that it was short to our wiring and a blown outlet box. They said that when the well pump tends to get near the end of its life it draws more power which is what blew our wiring to pump since it was operating on wrong amp breaker. They offered to replace the well pump for me since it was at the end of its life or just have a electrician they work with to fix what we had. They weren't pushy. I ultimately decided to just replace it so I wouldn't have to do it again in a few years. The electrician did charge me an emergency fee since it was after hours at that point and the cost was real high for pump installation (more than researched average) but the positive was they got everything replace before they left that night. They stayed until 9PM to get it finished too. After my water ran off/on with the hose for 18 hrs to clean it from iron, we were able to use our water again. The guys were nice and explained everything me to the whole time when I went out to check on what they were doing. I was fairly happy with my experience. read more

Sounding very similar to a previous complaint, BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Sellers hired Bill Roy to come inspect our septic (which we know is old and on the last few years of operation....but works and has worked perfectly during our ownership). Upon seeing one dry well was full and the other just about full he told them the septic is about to fail. He failed our septic on what MIGHT happen down the line...could be one year, could be five years down the road. When the buyers didn't seemed alarmed by this news he made a comment "if I were you I'd be a lot more worried if I were buying this house". He proceeded to then tell them how they needed to contact our town about ordinances that may affect installing a new septic. That he could do this for them and get a quote but would cost them $1200-1500. He essentially tried to scare our buyers into something that was unnecessary while drumming up more business for himself. We were told he had failed our septic. By the way, during his inspection he didn't even pump the well to inspect it for any cracks, damage, anything!!!!!!! I can't wait to see if he actually submits an inspection report that says "failed" bc I want to see on what grounds. Our septic has worked without ANY issues for 7 years. When the buyers agent reached out to ask that Bill Roy return to our house to meet with OUR septic company (who's maintained our septic for 7 years) to reinspect along with the sellers and buyers, he refused. If I could give negative zeros I would. He should be reported the the BBB. read more

I had used this service for 23 years in my previous home and 6 years in my present home. I have always had a paper bill and paid it when I received it. The last time they were here they never asked me to pay that day. i assumed I would get a bill as I always had with an addressed envelope included. Last week I received the bill and paid it as usual. I just looked at the bottom to see what I owed. The day I mailed it I got a phone call from a man at Foliey's wanting to know why I hadn't paid. I was surprised because I thought we had 30 days and I had just received the bill. He told me they only send out when payments are late. I not only paid on time but paid a late fee. He said they only do Ebills now. .I'm a senior and I am very uncomfortable with ebills. I tried to explain but he wouldn't let me talk. I finally said I would find another company and hung up. I called Professional and they were here the next day. Later that day Foley's called. They tried to make amends. It was too late. I was happy with Professional. Also they said I needed Potassium which which was far more expensive than salt. They work the same way so now I am saving money. read more

Don't use Water Doctors. Dennis and Matt are the men that came when I called because of Coliform in the well water. Should have been a simple "shocking" of the well. they did show right up.Dennis walked up to the well cap and kicked it off with his foot. I should have seen that as a red flag but I needed help. Also no paperwork, another red flag. They poured some bleach down the well. Not enough probably. They were more interested in selling me a $4,000 ultra violet filter. I never got clear directions on what to do to clear out the chlorine. I ended up with mud, sediment in both tubs.I sent a photo to Dennis who responded that that was why they suggested the ultraviolet filter. I was stuck and didn't know what to do. A single woman like myself might have quickly asked for that expensive filter. All weekend I tried to text to get answers. No response. I left messages on computer answering machine. Monday I finally heard from Dennis who said he had just got my emails. I think they are shady. $400. for nothing. No paperwork to sue. I think I will run this by the EPA. read more

If i could give a zero star I would. BUYER BEWARE. We had an inspection done on our well. This company not only told our buyers NOT to buy our house but said we needed 12k in repairs (the cost of a new well) unfortunately this company did not know our family works for a well pump manufacturer and we are not idiots.  We had a new inspection done by a reputable company. Which contradicted everything water Dr. Said. We need ZERO REPAIRS! Water Dr. Said we : needed a new well pump, new well cap because ours was not to code. Told the buyers our water was acidic without ever testing our water AND it was rotting our our pvc pipes and our 3 yr old pressure tank in the basement they claim had rusted out on the bottom, i have pictures to show its in mint condition and still under warranty. They said our well only pulled 4.5 gpm and it pulls 6. They said our pump was shorting out and rusted out and the electric was faulty and it couldnt pump adequately. Water Dr. reported the type of "well cap and pump" we have and said they were not to code or working.  That is NOT even the cap or pump we have installed! How can it be faulty when you reported the totally wrong equipment we have the, supposed electrical pull they claim our pump was short on, our pump brand literally does not even pull that its not made to!!! They quoted our buyers all kinds of upgrades, filtration system, booster pump etc grand total of 12k and said not to buy this house unless they did that.  I have every document from them the other inspection reports and their bogus estimate. I am 100% pursuing legal action. BBB and state attorney General. read more

The professionalism of the Water Dr. was superb! They were punctual and got the job done ( well pump) replaced in under two hours. We were without water for a couple of days prior to their arrival. The well pump wasn't cheap, It was worth paying the price for the timely job and for restoring our water. They went above and beyond and even changed the water filter in the basement as a courtesy. If you are in need of urgent response to a water problem, do not hesitate to call Water Dr. I woke up to having no water last Friday morning. I had called another local company that I had previously used and waited 5 hours for them to return my call. After hours of worrying I would be without water thru the weekend, I called Water Dr. The owner Rick returned my call within 5 minutes and assured me his men would be there this afternoon. Within 2 hours, Rick himself appeared at my door. He assessed the problem, was able to temporarily restore my water thru the remainder of the day, and said he would have a crew at my home at 8 the next morning. Due to another commitment I had, I asked if they could come earlier. Before 7 am the next morning, I had three extremely professional and polite technicians at my door. They were neat in appearance and in their work. I felt the price was fair as well. Later I found out that my neighbor had Water Dr provide him with a new water system and this past August they repaired my daughter's water pump and installed a water softener. Both my neighbor n daughter told me they were extremely pleased with their work. I will be calling Water Dr for the yearly maintenance of my water filtering system from now on as well as any repairs that may come up in the future. This company is top notch! read more

We experienced a flood in our basement recently and Rick diagnosed a broken water pipe caused by freeze. He responded almost immediately and pinpointed the problem. DO NOT USE WATER DR. I spent $7000 on a new well pump and water storage tank - a red flag should have been that thet demanded payment on the spot, they finished work and walked up asking for payment. I did not receive any paperwork I had to ask for a breakdown of services to be emailed to me. A couple days later I noticed water all over my finished basement floor which had soaked into the walls. I crossed the room went under a wall into my storage room ruining a bunch of our belongings. A service technician came out and told me that the leak was cause by the higher PSI well pump they insalled. Water Dr's owner Rick Hallet came out and vacuumed up the water said "it wasnt that bad" and promised to take care of it but refused to give me their Insurance information or refund my money. I had it looked at by a contractor and he leak caused $10,000 worth of damage. Rick has given me the run around for months and attempting to pass blame. He is now actively avoiding my phone calls and emails after multiple attempts to resolve it. I mean he is a true conartist, I didn't know any better so I let him leave without anything in writing or his insurance information. Looking now I see tons of other reviews just like this, it is a pattern that Rick swindles his way out of taking responsibility of damage caused by his company. Giving people the runaround long enough hoping that they give up or just file through their own insurance. If I can at least get anything out of this horrible experience it will be to save others from making the same mistake. read more

Don't waste your time. Had an appointment schedule due to water quality problems that needed immediate attention. Was given the "4 hour" window schedule. I patiently waited 3 1/2 hours and no one showed up or called. I called the office - all I got was there other "no water calls" and they get priority. Furthermore, I wasn't on "her" schedule. I used these guys to install a pressure tank for my well. They did an excellent job. They used only copper (not pex), and were in an out in a day. They also installed an Amtrol Well X Trol tank which I think is supposed to be one of the better tanks. They did ask me if I wanted the bigger of the 2 tanks that they had available, which I thought was pretty cool. They didn't really even try to upsell me on the bigger one, which is what i ended up getting. It was kind of on the pricey side, but I had already tried winging it on my own. The one way valve had failed and my pump was constantly coming on. I know nothing about wells, so I'm glad I hired some pros. It's been a year and everything is working great. If I have any well issues, I'll be calling these guys back. read more

So I woke up at 4am and had 30 seconds of a hot water shower and it died! I had nightmares of this service and then GH's yellow van commercial kept ringing in my head like a bad dream. I did a search and low and behold I found all these good and great reviews on Water Dr. SO what the heck I called at 8:00am the girl that answered the phone was exact and had all the answers and said a tech would call me back shortly. I got a call within a 1/2 an hour and they said they would be out this afternoon between 1&3 and BANG they were there. It was 80% humidity and 91 degrees these two professionals pulled 352 feet of well hose out of the ground, replaced the 15 year old pump. They worked their butts off and were dripping with sweat. I asked if I should step it up to a higher pump horsepower (ie more money) and I was surprised the tech said that there was no need too, the one they recommended is larger than what was in there and should work very well. They were both very courteous and professional I felt fine letting them into our home. a few hours later and our water supply was better than it has ever been. I would recommend this company to my 73 year old mother and would feel totally comfortable that they would take care of her without any nonsense. These guys are A+ in my book. We have been having issues with water staining, odor and taste since moving into our new house. Matt came out the day after I called to assess and I wasn't expecting the problem to be fully fixed for at least a few days to a week. He got here around 3, figured out the issues and was able to call some guys out to meet him to install a new tank, filter system and softener the same day! By 7pm we had odorless and tasteless water! These guys were amazing and we are so very pleased with the work they did in such a short time frame. Highly recommend them! read more

Called the water doctor and spoke with Matt on Monday at 2:38pm, he dispatched Rick the owner who came out right away and found the source of my no water problem (12 year old goulds pump had finally failed) within minutes. Rick's crew arrived 20 minutes later and started pulling the old 580 deep well pump with in minutes it seemed. They returned the next day promptly at 9:00 am and had the new pump along with the new jacketed wire installed and water restored by 11:30 am in the rain.
