I've always gone here for any watch issues or battery replacement. Recently, my Michele watch stopped running. I was out of town and went to a place close to where I was staying. I was told it wasn't the battery, and I needed the mechanism replaced. It felt as if he was being dishonest because he tried to convince me he would work with me on the price. I have been going to this watch shop for many years for simple tasks as battery replacements to complicated repair as movement repair. Recently, they brought my beloved watch, Luminox Navy Seal watch to life with movement replacement and complete service. They even cleaned inside the watch for no extra cost when I discovered tiny spec stuck inside the watch glass. Great little shop. I needed a new wrist band for my Seiko watch, and they helped me find the perfect one from their selection. The wrist band installation is free if you buy in store. It took less than five minutes to install! Kind and knowledgeable owners. There is a nice selection of Seiko and Japanese watches on display, in addition to other brands. This is the best place to bring your watches in for batteries, service, and repair. They also have a great selection of watches. Not only are they the most affordable place to bring your watches, but they are also scrupulously honest! I brought in three watches for new batteries. One they replaced. The second they said wasn't going to work even with a new battery. The third (which would have been the highest price battery) they said was fine after they removed it and repositioned the original battery in the case (no charge). They have also resized bands for us. They are very quick, affordable, and very nice! read more

I walked in on my lunch with a Casio Pathfinder watch that I bought in 2003 and it needed batteries. The super nice lady said it would be $35.00 and 20 minutes It needed a special battery because of the watch has a solar cell on it.. Well it was all true except the time I was only there 15 minutes!!!!! Lots of people coming in with there watch collections having bands/batteries/repairs. Marie and her husband run a first-class business here, so I didn't think twice about going back a second time to buy a watch and to pick up some gift items for friends. Normally I dont write reviews but I had to do it on this one. Highly recommended place!!!!! I took my vintage Mido commander watch since the stem and crown came off and in order to but it back you have to remove the crystal, hands and dial to get to the movement. (Yeah this watch is a hassle since you it doesn't have a screw down back) The technician took a look at it, probably waited less than 10min and it was fixed!! Best part is that they did it for free!!!!!!! I was thinking I would have to wait a day or two and pay $100. It's hard to find honest people, so that's why I recommend this place. read more

Ok, first, let me start this off by saying, NEVER buy a watch from Nike. At least, don't buy a watch and expect them to give a crap about it afterwards. I have had several bad experiences with them, including a band that snapped 3 weeks after buying it, but because I didn't have the reciept, "I'm sorry, there is nothing we can do for you". And that response was even after writing 2 letters to Nike corporate. In addition to not backing up their products, they also won't change out the battery for you....without the reciept, a $30 fee, and oh yeah, you have to MAIL it in to them. Sadly, they make good watches for teaching aerobics, so even with all of that, I still wanted to keep the functioning ones I had. Several people refused to change the batteries on them because the battery case structure on Nike watches is so odd. (And yes...I *DID* try to do it myself....and ended up stabbing myself with a screwdriver trying to get the back off to no avail.) I had almost given up. But then, my last functioning watch (A Movado, not a Nike) died as well, and I realized that I couldn't pretend I didn't need watch batteries anymore. I study at the Coffee Bean next door to Watch Tech, and so I decided to give it a try. I brought in 2 Nike watches, a Seiko watch, and a Movado watch that all needed batteries, plus a Lucien Piccard watch that I had bought super cheap and wanted to get a new band for. For all of the above? $59 bucks. Yep. 4 batteries (2 of which several jewelers claimed they couldn't replace) a new band, AND it was all done in 15 minutes. They don't take American Express. But other than that.... Freakin' brilliant. read more

I needed 3 screws for the back of my Burberry watch and a new band put on. After I waited 20 minutes I was told that they have any and I should go to the Burberry store in south coast plaza. I purchased my band at the store in south coast and the lady at Burberry suggested that I go to a repair stop because they are just common screws and if not, they would have to mail my watch for repairs which takes 6 weeks! I went to the shops at mission Viejo, fast fix, 20 minutes later I had 3 new screws and my new band on for $26.00 I will not be returning to watch tech read more

This is your old fashioned neighborhood watch shop. They offer repairs / service such as battery replacements and also sell a variety of watches and clocks. I've been using them for several years and have been here at least 5 times now to have batteries replaced and even purchase watches. GOOD 1: They have an easy to reach location with plenty of parking. It's never hard to get in or out of this place. GOOD 2: Their prices are very reasonable. The last 2 times I've been there were for battery replacements on my Movado & Tag. My total was less than $30 for both. GOOD 3: Quality of work. On my various trips to have my expensive watches worked on they've never left a scratch, nick, or mark on any of my stuff. This is something that's very important to me as my watches are very expensive and I treat them more like jewelry. BAD 1: I normally point out things that need to be improved but in this case I really don't have anything to gripe about. Overall it's a solid place to get your watch battery and possibly other service done. They're fast and friendly, but most of all they're quality and that's the most important thing for me.
