Yup, these guys have been the trash collection company for my county for several years. They do a darn fine job! Once a week for trash and recycling. Every other week for bulk items and the opposite week for yard waste so I've seen them a lot! I'd say they come on the scheduled day over 90% of the time. If they miss, it's almost a certainty they'll show up the next day. This freaks out some of my neighbors, but I could care less. Of course, holidays are different and if there is a hurricane everything goes sideways and that's completely expected. The guys on the trucks are unfailingly pleasant and work with you if you have something odd. That's nice! They have a location in Sebring where you can swap out a damaged bin or get one of a different size. Other than occasionally missing the scheduled day, these folks are spot on! read more

I am 75 years old and my room mate is 81 years old. Both of us are handicapped. Waste Connection has been a continuous problem for us. Their contract with Highlands County requires them to pick up the garbage and recycle bins at the house. They are supposed to bring these large cans back to the house. They have been broken their contract on numerouse occassions. read more

I have been in my position for 18 months. During that time I have had to deal with WC constantly. They have never shown up on time when called to pick up our construction dumpster. Currently we have a dumpster load that has been ready to pick up for two weeks. We have enough material next to the dumpster to fill it up again. WC keeps promising to pick it up, but they never come. I hope some competition comes into town. I would gladly pay more for decent service. read more

CURB 'N SCAPE Our irrigation system was getting old and…read moreproblems just started being a way of life...and we have a large property, which makes good irrigation a must. So this company is A-OK in my book from past experiences with their insect control (Bugs Bee-Ware) and landscaping. About a month ago they hit the trifecta when Jarrod came out and not only fixed the irrigation problem, but improved it by capping some unnecessary sprinkler heads, creating better pressure, and replacing some others heads with more state-of-the-art, canister-style sprinklers. A couple of days later he came back to replace the worn-out relay box. Just recently, there was a minor problem with the relay box Jarrod installed last month, so I called and he was here the next day! I say it was a minor problem, but it was a problem I couldn't fix, so he fixed what needed fixing, and after testing each section of yard irrigation out, everything switched over as it was supposed to. Problem solved! Plus we got to talk with this personable young man again! Jarrod is a great representative of Curb-'n-Scape. He is a dynamo when it comes to hard work, and he takes the time to explain clearly what he has done, so we can understand it with no effort. He is friendly and professional, and after talking with him a few minutes, you know how highly he thinks of the company. We are very happy with the work Jarrod did, and are also glad to highly recommend this company, which is comprised of Bugs Bee-Ware and Curb-'n-Scape.c
