I stopped by ABC Appliance Store in Sebring to preview their inventory and purchase a refrigerator for one of my rental units. I met with Alexis, the Manager. She was very polite, gave me several options in my price range and worked with me to do the paperwork, while I connected with the Owner for payment and arrange delivery. Because I had a tenant without a refrigerator she made every effort to arrange delivery within 2 days. The refrigerator was delivered today, as promised. Sebastian was there at 8:00 AM, as promised. Paul came a short time later to assist in the delivery process. Both were professional, polite and very careful during the entire delivery process. We bought an expensive GE refrigerator from ABC and shortly after it was delivered the led lighting went out. The first time a technician came out he had the wrong parts and abruptly left. We scheduled a second repair after they assured us they had the correct parts. I waited patiently for the technician until I realized he was nit coming. I called the store and the manager said their one and only repair man was sick. They didn't bother to notify me so i drove 100 miles to meet the tech for no reason. As of today we attempted to arrange another repair appointment but the management was very uncooperative at first but then they agreed to make "an exception " and scheduled the repair on a Friday in two weeks. Long story short i do not recommend buying anything from ABC. read more

The selection of used appliances was very small (1 fridge in rough shape) and the new ones were much more expensive than other stores.

My wife and I bought a washer dryer combo on April 12, 2025 for $1600. Six days later, only the third time we used it. The drum or wash basket literally exploded into pieces. The following day Saturday, April 19 I contacted the store. They sent a technician out who examined the exterior and interior of the washer dryer combo and told me that they would be getting back to me. I called on April 23. They told me that the parts were ordered, but it's on backorder. On April 24, I went to the store and spoke to the employees behind the desk, expressing my frustration that we had bought this washer, dryer combo and got rid of our other washer and dryer. I asked them when the parts were coming in. They said they don't know it just says in progress. I asked what I'm supposed to do. They said it's out of our hands. I asked if I could return the washer dryer for a new one because this one's obviously defective, they said there are no returns once the washer and dryers at your house. It falls under warranty . I asked for the owner. They said she's not here and her name was Tracy Price. I she could give me a call. I've never heard from her or anyone from ABC appliance TV in Sebring yet and today is April 26. read more

The customer service here is terrible. My mother bought a refrigerator in the middle of December 2021. In January 2022 is quit working. They came and got the refrigerator and brought a smaller one. My mom called a few days later and ask what was the status on her refrigerator. Amber (the manager) said it is a process and she will call her. My mom said she was wondering because this refrigerator was smaller and didn't have ice or water like her's did. Amber told her she was lucky she even got a refrigerator because there was a family with kids that are having to live with coolers. This made my mother feel terrible. I didn't call right then but I called two weeks later. I asked for the manager. She said she was the manager and owner's daughter (Amber). I asked her what was the status of my mom's refrigerator. She explained what was going on with it. I understand. So then I asked her why did she tell my mother that a family with kids was going without a refrigerator because of her. I told her how awful my mother felt knowing she got a refrigerator and kids went without. She lost sleep over it. That is when she started yelling at me about how rude and obnoxious my mother was to her. I told her my mother is an 84 year old widow who is never rude or obnoxious to people. As she yelled at me more she said "Don't ever call here again" and hung up on me. If this is how a company treats its customers then I will go somewhere else. read more

My husband and I have bought almost all our appliances from ABC. They are a family owned, local business with integrity and knowledge. Only 2 appliances we ventured to big box stores for, bit us in the butt both times. We bought a Bosch dishwasher from Sears, and when it went sideways after just a couple years, we called Sears to come fix it. They outsourced a guy from Miami who dismantled it and discovered it needed a part he didn't have with him. He failed to properly hook the dishwasher disposal feature back up and all weekend every time we ran our disposal it was spraying garbage all over under the sink to the point that it warped the wall and baseboards not to mention the flooring of the interior of the cabinet. I documented the damage and contacted Sears who disallowed any claims because they "called the tech who said he didn't do anything wrong." So we had to eat the repair costs! That was the LAST Sears saw of our wallet. Then, we purchased our last stove, a Whirlpool, from a local home improvement store. This time, the store wasn't at fault but the stove was supposed to be a higher end stove, and from day one the oven never hit the right temperature, sometimes being as much as 50 degrees off. We called Whirlpool who sent their tech who made excuses, said he didn't have time to wait for the oven to heat up for diagnosis so simply swapped the thermostat, and told us it "just needs to be broken in". It continued to fail to perform and after 2 yrs, the burner stopped working. Now out of warranty, Whirlpool had no interest or obligation to help us. We sold it for half of what we paid for it and went back to the store we bought our refrigerator, convection oven, and Speed Queen washer from: ABC Appliance and TV. We picked a GE stove and they delivered post haste. Now, the first time I baked in it, it did the SAME THING the Whirlpool did. It was under heating significantly. After a second failed baking event, we called ABC who sent Tim to come scope out the problem. Tim spent considerable time with his tools analyzing and diagnosing the issues and in the end was able to adjust the internal settings to compensate for the big difference in temperatures. Tim ALSO took the time to explain to US how the newer stoves work including the time it typically takes to come to temperature and how long to wait AFTER your stove indicates it is pre-heated to start your baking. He showed us how to adjust the internal thermostat if it needed a little more tweaking, and even explained why our "power boil" burner is more intense than the other burners (which I had no clue and may be why the Whirlpool burner burnt out so early.). What a blessing it is to have good old fashioned personal service that leaves you more educated and equipped to handle future "glitches" than some lackey who is just there to collect a paycheck and never really solves anything. We have purchased several appliances over the years from ABC, and made the $1000 mistake of going to Lowes to purchase our stove 2 years ago. When we needed service the technician they sent was a joke. We decided to go back to ABC and replace it with a GE oven and this time, when adjustments were needed, they sent Tim out. What a breath of fresh air. He took the time to explain everything and show us how to make future adjustments ourselves, if needed. Tim was fantastic and a rare asset in today's world. Do yourself a favor. Support the local mom and pop stores and stay away from big box appliances, even if you pay a few dollars more. It's worth it! read more

Called in for service on a refrigerator, operator took my information confirmed my model and serial number and that they had a compressor in stock to replace. Quoted the price of compressor and replacement costs. Set up that I would call with a date I could be there to install as I was from out of state, and they would call that day of to schedule the exact time. They called and went over the information with me that had on the repair ticket that said it needs a compressor. The tech was rude and said we don't stock compressors for customers and that I was not told that. And just wanted to argue his point. When I mentioned I guess I would have to find someone else as I am getting conflicting information. He said you do that and slammed phone down. read more

the washer AND dryer i purchased from them are out in the garbage as i write this. The items were purchased a year ago, used. when they installed my dryer they broke the wall all around the vent and when i complained they got rude, actually more than rude....threatening would be more accurate. They replaced parts on my dryer ( before i purchased them ) with other old used parts from other machines that they take for free when they sell a new one...the dryer coil never cooled, it was roasting hot, burning my clothes and my hand, when i opened the dryer door it was glowing in the back from a defective thermostat and coil. The agitation bearings in the washing machine were shot and it made a loud noise, then finally wouldn't agitate at all. when i put them in the trash i spray painted on the side " fire hazard " and " abc appliance sucks"..... within 5 minutes two of my neighbors told me they also had bad experiences with them. read more

better off going to the box stores. they'll tell you how they can diagnose and repair all the brands that they sell, but when they sell you a lemon that doesn't work correctly, even after several attempts to fix the appliance, they'll give up and tell you that since other features work you're stuck with a lemon. they'll make appointments to come to your home and never show up or call read more

I bought a new washer and a used dryer in January of this year. The folks were very pleasant and helpful. I took the machines home from the store and they helped load them into my truck. I was referred there by co-workers since I am new to the area. So far everyone I have talked to about ABC had nothing but nice things to say about the store. I'm a happy customer. read more

Poor customer service...they tend to be rude. Paid for repair the refrigerator, waited more than a week for the part, paid very high amount for the it and the installation fee, then they did not allow me keep the old part said that I had to pay an extra amount to keep it. The techie Scott runned out the door with part. Very unpolie. Will not recommend this place to anyone. read more
