We bought a "low mileage" transmission for a Crown Vic…read morePolice (long tail shaft model) that started slipping - then burning all bands and not moving - in a month and asked for a replacement (under warranty for 90 days). "Spider" had us drive 2 hrs there to "replace" it only to say: 1) they'd take it to their tranny shop to see if it worked (that's what the 90 day warrantee was for!) causing a 2-day delay, 2) then he said he got a Mercury Marquis tranny (wrong size 3 day delay as a replacement - I told him wrong one and to get the right one - he said he would, 3) showed up A WEEK later after they said they'd have the right one and "Spider" called the yard and asked for the "Mercury Marquis" tranny after I made a, now 4TH 2-hour round trip - the tranny was WRONG and I showed him that it was the wrong size with measurements - he said he'd pull one from a car and have it the next day - he lied, 4) showed up the next day and there was a used, high mileage, old partly rebuilt tranny there with a replaced pump gasket that they'd gotten from another salvage yard. I paid for a low mileage tranny NOT 5 200 mile round trips to get a high mileage rebuilt second slipping tranny from another junkyard. I Plan to SUE this shop and these a**holes.

They have great mechanics there that can remove the part pulled and install as well for a reasonable price. I've been coming there for years and I must say the customer service was great before but it's even better now. Purchased a transfer case for an old jaguar i was rebuilding, rebuilt a mini cooper with parts from there, and a mercedes. I have only one complaint and it isn't a bad one. I like mostly German cars and they dont carry much european inventory. which is understandable it being in what used to be a small town where everyone mostly drives american pick ups and SUVs. I must say I would be happy if i started seeing more german inventory. Other than that. Great place. Great inventory. And great people with lots of knowledge!

The poor owner, a single mom with a baby didn't quite understand and she signed the papers. I believe, my opinion, that this company quotes you a price and once they get to the car they give an excuse as to why they can't pay what they quoted and they figure you are in a bad place and desperate, so they offer you less, figuring that you will take less. I tried to talk to a supervisor and they hang up the phone, or they put you on hold forever. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

They continued to make huge holes all over our lawn. They then said they would have someone come to fix it if they would fix it themselves. Since that day we have reached out, only to be ignored. Looking to take legal action to have my lawn fixed. Also, don't count on the amount of money quoted to you by phone. When they arrive, they find any reason to knock that price down drastically. Terrible business practices.
