I was on a mission. A mission to locate and purchase, with someone else's money, a strong…read moreworkhorse of a vehicle. I had someone else's trust placed on me and I didn't want to let them down. Have any of you researched, hunted and located a vehicle for someone else before? I certainly haven't. I understand there are "buyers", car buying "consultants" who make their living doing this type of thing. I was on a mission not to let them down and I poured 3 months of research into the type of vehicle it was, the kind of typical problems these vehicles encounter and in what years they encounter them. Also pricing out replacement parts in case I had to replace an entire engine.. you know.. you never know so you need to know the cost of a properly rebuilt engine and know where you actually buy one. Now that most of us are buying and selling our used cars there is no getting around the fact that you are GOING to buy a used vehicle (better make sure its not junk) and sooner than you think. I've been a car fanatic for quite some time and I love to read about the latest developments especially with supercars e.g. Bugatti, Aston Martin, Lamborghini and the EV equivalent of all of them. Suffice it to say, spouting off my pseudo-intelligence about trucks or vans or any type of work vehicle has not typically been my forte. After going to 30 + dealers, small, medium and large all across the state of Florida from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach, Hialeah, across Alligator Alley to Naples... I ended up purchasing one of these vans from Only Cargo Vans Sale and mostly because I met a very sharp individual by the name of Damien. Damien could see that I wasn't interested in any sales pitches. I was cooked by this time. Couldn't take any more sales talk. Just needed the facts. Car buying typically ends up being a subjective decision for most consumers. However, buying a car should be the one thing that is NOT subjective, do TONS of research BEFORE going to the dealer. If you wait till you get to the dealer to decide on what vehicle you want.. you're going to get "taken". Let me just back up a little.. I was raised to rely on a man for things like understanding how cars worked, buying a car or dealing with anything that typically is (quote) "a man's world". I wasn't taught to be self-reliant. I've had to teach myself to be self reliant. No longer do I need a man to help me purchase a car. I can make this purchase without ANY help from a man. Did I want to be this way? No. It was up to me and NO ONE ELSE, to find the right vehicle for my family member. Something reliable, won't break down and didn't have a miserable history. After EPIC research into this I decided that the two places that I was going to have to rely on heavily was Carfax and Bumper.com. Whatever was missing in the Carfax report was going to be in the Bumper report and visa versa. Yes, these reports can be manipulated and have been by many a unscrupulous person. However, when you are traveling, you have done your research, and now you have to rely on seeing the vehicle personally, taking it to another mechanic and reference these reports. That's pretty much what you are left with. I can say that Damien did everything perfectly when dealing with me. He was straight to the point, showed me his repair records, let me drive a few different cars, showed me the carfax reports and allowed me to take the one that I was interested in, to a mechanic of MY choice. Damien and his team were extremely thorough and answered my questions. I knew that I wasn't buying a NEW car but one that had been a workhorse for someone in the past. When I purchased the vehicle and rolled it off the lot, there were of course some red lights on in the dash. That is very common for these vehicles. Don't let that dissuade you. You need to know what they are and how to fix those lights in the dash BEFORE you come to the lot. Of course there were fixes that I had to make on the van that I purchased but I expected it and I allotted the proper amount of $ just for this purpose. The BIGGEST thing you need to be worried about is that vehicles history... how many accidents and how many owners. I purchased a van with 1 owner and NO accidents. After running all the reports and analyzing them I had a pretty clear picture regarding all the places that van had been, where and for how long. The only person who could have been better at this than myself would be the person who holds a dealers license. If you know someone with a dealers license then you should befriend that person because they are the ONLY people who are going to dig up ALL the info on the car that you are looking for. The fixes I had to make on this van were: Brakes and rotors, all 4 tires $1500 Gas Cap, $15.00 Epic Vehicle Check $250 Windshield Wipers (2) $48 Hope this helps someone.

We both work from home and our big adventure now is a 3 mile trip to Publix. So we decided to sell the SUV. Mind you a car that just sat in the air conditioned garage. A car I just had ceramic coated. A car that literally doesn't have a ding or dent anywhere. And miles do low I'm embarrassed to even mention. It's cherry. This is our third car over the years we sold to Carmax. Again, such a smooth process. Gabrielle helps us and we were out of there in about 20 minutes. If you want a fair price and a stress free process--check out Carmax.

My fiancé and I came in ready to purchase a vehicle with a signed PSECU AutoDraft in hand. The only complication was that the co-signer was out of state. We were repeatedly told by Jose that there was "nothing we could do" unless we financed through CarMax. He claimed their e-sign system had been down for a month and insisted our only option was to switch financing. Not wanting to give up our 5% credit union loan without exploring other options, we left and started making calls ourselves. To our surprise, another CarMax location in Naples immediately offered solutions, including remote e-signatures and even FedExing documents if needed. That was incredibly frustrating to hear after being told so definitively that there were no alternatives. It made us feel like our outside financing wasn't being respected and that we were being pushed toward CarMax financing instead. As a pregnant customer trying to secure a safe family vehicle before our baby arrives, this experience added unnecessary stress to an already emotional and time-sensitive purchase. We understand policies exist, but the lack of effort to explore solutions or advocate for us was disappointing. I hope CarMax Ft. Myers better trains its staff on available options for customers using outside financing, because no customer should have to call another location to receive the help and answers they should have been given in the first place.

BEWARE: Misrepresentation & Dishonest Sales Tactics…read more I purchased a 2019 Corvette Stingray sight-unseen from Wicked Nice Caaaz based on their BBB accreditation, but the experience was a disaster. I was provided a "clean" pre-sale inspection report (arranged and paid for by the dealer) that conveniently missed several deep "keyed" marks on the driver's door and hood--vandalism that cuts straight through the primer. So deep that they have to be repaired before even a wrap applied to cover them. Key points for potential buyers: The Deception: Wicked Nice Caaaz failed to disclose the damage. However, the transport driver confirmed he pointed it out at pickup, meaning the dealership knew the damage existed and chose not to tell me. The Evidence: I have time-stamped photos from the transport company showing the keyed marks while the car was still on the dealer's lot (confirmed by the dealership reflection in the door glass). Ownership Response: When confronted, the owner (Michael Simmons) refused to take responsibility, calling deep key marks "normal wear and tear." He tried to shift blame to the inspection company, saying I should be contacting the pre-inspection company that ironically he hired to seek any reimbursement. Owner eventually hung up on me when I asked for his refusal in writing. This dealership lacks integrity. They hide behind "as-is" contracts to mask blatant non-disclosure of vandalism. I am only asking for the $479 it costs to fix the door, yet they would rather lose their reputation over a few hundred dollars than do the right thing. Avoid this dealer if you value honesty and transparency.

It's not the flashiest car dealership on the inside, but they definitely have some "wicked nice"…read moregems with low mileage on the lot. Got good vibes from the guy who spoke with us, and he was happy to show us around and answer our questions. Even steered us away from one of the older vehicles that caught our eye, saying he couldn't in good conscience sell it to us (at least not without a warranty), which was refreshing to say the least--like what? an honest car salesman? hard to find these days. I'm not in a big rush to replace my CRV so didn't end up buying today. (They had tons of cool sportier cars, just not a whole lot in the "soccer mom" department). That said, the guy (Rob?) said he'd give us a ring if/when they got the kind of car we were looking for, which is pretty cool of him to do I think. Anyways, 10/10 recommend--def plan to go back at some point.

Was informed that the car had a couple of small oil leaks (to be expected) but that everything else was in working order. When the car arrived it was a complete disaster. They grossly misrepresented the car. As you can see from the photos, the engine smokes at idle, half of the engine isn't running and just blows fuel into the exhaust, The headliner was all destroyed from an undisclosed hole in the top, the door doesn't close properly, and in addition to a number of other problems, we found a large scratch and dent on the driver's door. This dealership is not to be trusted. I paid $14,700 ..they offered $8000 to buy the car back. Absolute scam artists.
