Let me begin by saying that I love it when my car is clean. But, I'd be lying if I said that I had washed my car in the last few months. I had heard good things about this new car wash in Hermitage, on Facebook, so I decided to check it out.
I pulled up and was blown away by how great this place looks. It is really beautiful. I pulled up to the cashier window (never seen that before at a car wash) and was greeted by a smiling face. They helped me to pick the right wash for me (great I think it was called).
I pulled forward and was getting that normal stress you get when you are concerned about being guided onto the metal rail thing, but was surprised to see that they didn't have that at all. They had a conveyor for both my tires, like those people mover things at the airport. It was really great!
Once I was on the conveyor belts, you couldn't help but notice how bright and airy the place was. None of that dark tunnel stuff that I've become accustomed to. And on top of all of that, the place smells like lemongrass. I'm not kidding.
When I got through with the wash, I pulled into one of the bays to vacuum out my car. As I was getting out, I noticed someone was behind my car. It was one of the staff members and they said that they were touching up my car for me. I was shocked. I've never had that happen before.
I started vacuuming my car (don't forget to push the button to start them) when another staff member asked if I had tried their mat cleaners. I had not. They explained that for $2 you could feed your mats into their machines and have your mats shampooed and vacuumed. They said that they would clean them for me for FREE!!!! How could I say no?
The machines are the closest thing to magic you can get. My mats had salt on them from the big snow we had and it vanished without a trace. They were slightly damp but not bad at all.
As the member of the staff (I think her name was Gabby. Sorry if I spelled it wrong) was walking back to my car, helping to carry my mats, she asked if I knew about their free window cleaner and towels. I wasn't and so she showed me these cute little blue boxes on every vacuum pole that have a bottle of window cleaner, clean towels, and a place to put the dirty ones.
With all this free stuff, I was able to get my car looking great again. I'll definitely be back and I don't think that I will ever need to go anywhere else. read more
