I brought my companies demo truck into town... from Tampa Bay. Needless to say, this truck has looked better. Renew came up on a Google search with great reviews. After the work they did today, I'm a believer! Absolutely awesome job, top to bottom!!! I was a bit of a dirtbag because I called a week prior, then didn't schedule until the Friday before (it's Monday). No problem at all, Steve hooked it up; even bought a ladder just to do the box portion! I can't recommend Renew enough! My only regret: not bringing this truck into town more often! After scheduling an appt two weeks in advance, I got an email last night at 9:15 to confirm the address. Not getting the email until the next morning, I confirmed at 6:11am for 12:30 pm appt. NO ONE SHOWED. Called 3 times from 1:00pm-2:38pm, and texted and received no response. I get things happen, but could at least let the customer know something. In the past, I had great luck with Renew, and they do a great job of detailing, however scheduling has been really difficult lately. The past 2 out of 3 times that I've had an appointment with them they've no called/no showed at least once. I get that things happen like weather or employees getting sick, but they could at least send a text or call to say they aren't going to be able to make it so I'm not stuck at home waiting all day. While on vacation, my sweetheart surprised me by staining our deck. He's the best! The only problem was, he accidentally stained our cars, too. Paint gun for the stain. Clouds of stain drifted to our cars. After I discovered some weird film on my windshield, he assured me that it was tree sap. So I took the car into a professional car wash, where they informed me I had paint all over my car. All over it. I looked on Yelp, and Renew Mobile Detailing has by far the best reviews out there. I called on 5:00 on a Saturday, and they answered and set me up for an appointment. Anthony came to our house and did the cars right in our driveway. He did an AMAZING job. You would never know our cars were stained!!! He was super friendly, and focused on the details. I am highly impressed with this company. Unfortunately, it's so rare to find good customer service. I wanted to surprise my wife and decided to use this group based off the many positive reviews. I paid $235 plus a tip, so I had high expectations! Although the detailer was a very nice guy, the cleanliness of the vehicle was ultimately very disappointing. I decided to send pictures of the deficient and missed areas to the detailer and he was quick to respond with an apology and promised to be back the following day to correct things. It is important to note that he did come back and attempt to address the missed areas. All in all, I should have paid more attention to the critical reviews, as they are spot on with what I experienced. $235 is a lot of money for a mediocre service! I'll definitely not repeat. 2/17/17 - I received a call from the owner Steve today. He was not only apologetic but portrayed a level of customer service that is rarely seen in business today! After discussing the unsatisfactory outcome as well as seeing the pics that I sent, Steve has agreed to send someone out in the next week or so to finish the job. Jesse made up for an earlier no-show to an appointment by personally coming out and doing a great job on my vehicle to get out a ton of dog hair. This is the only spot I've found with a flexible schedule and the ability to get short dog hair out of the fabric. read more

I wouldn't use these guys again... Interior Detail work = 2 stars Exterior Body work = 4 stars However, (1) the bed of my truck is carpeted and wasn't even swept out or vacuumed, which really frustrates me when paying almost $300 for a premium detail... I know I can vacuum my own truck bed in a few minutes, but it doesn't really make sense why that isn't a part of the package Further, (2) the floor mats were not even cleaned, much less detailed. I had to spend time cleaning them myself to make them look OK after getting my truck back. The mats look way better than they left them, and all I did was soak the rubber mats in water and dish soap overnight, which just shows they didn't even try. If you're wanting to get a good detail, try somewhere else for sure! read more

I've been meaning to get my car cleaned for far too long; I just never had the time. I was very pleased to find these guys; they come to your house and detail your car right there in your driveway. They bring all their own gear, even water, and take special care to ask what's important to you (I guess it's kind of strange how emotionally involved people tend to be with their cars.) Anyway, not only was the job they did on both our cars great, I was honestly surprised at how nice both the guys who came were. I guess I was expecting someone who just wanted to get the job done asap and move on to the next, but they took the time to do their best. Bottom line: I would totally recommend them to anyone, especially those people with kids or pets that trash their cars. Had these guys do a basic interior and spot check on an area where someone vomited in the back seat. Jesse came to my office and was done in about two hours -- smell and stain is completing gone. Renew give my wife's '06 Black Tahoe a full detail, including having them clay bar it. The inside leather has never been so clean. The finish on the paint was amazing. Smooth and shiny. Almost all the small surface scratches were removed and the paint had that deep waxed look. I priced the same service at other places and it was more then twice as much. AND these guys did it at my office. Best $225 I spent on my truck I'm going to call them and have them do my truck, too. Was it 100% perfect, showroom? No. But was it amazing for a 6 yr old Tahoe? I want to give this business a better rating however, there were a couple of problems I noticed: 1. Although the man who detailed my SUV was very nice, he arrived late. I was at work so I had time constraints. Since the detail I requested should not have taken longer than 1-1.5 hours and he was supposed to begin by 9am and it was already later in the day, I was wondering why I had not received a call about my car being ready earlier. I called and met up with the detailer who said he started late and the car would be ready soon. I left to grab a (very) quick lunch, returned all the way to the garage again, and still had to wait quite a bit of time longer. He said he was done right after I paid him and had to run back to work; 2. Upon further inspection of my SUV when I had more time, I noticed areas that were missed, most likely due to the detailer rushing. I want to say that on my end, I had not called back to voice my complaints, as I have had prior bad experiences with getting my car thoroughly cleaned, and decided that I would clean my own car in the future. This experience was not too bad but unfortunately not the greatest either. The pros are that the price was good and they are consumer friendly. read more

Just a brief review. Used these guys in the fall to do a complete clean/wax of our honda pilot and they did an awesome job. Also used very little water! Worked super hard, I think they took an hour just to vacuum this inside! In fact, trying to find their contact info again to use call them for another job. Highly recommended! Just had the 2nd car done, and they did a great job again. They even got coffee stains out of the carpet on the ground that had been there for year. Very professional and personable. Update: the owner personally attended to my complaint and I must say I really do appreciate the candor and customer service. No excuses just a willingness to come back out and redo the service. I declined having them come back out but I was given a refund in full. So I will up my review from it's original 1.5 to 3 stars. One of the most mediocre detail services I've worked with. They showed up 1.25 hours late and then rushed through the service. I regret spending money on this service that could have been better spent spen on supplies to detail my own vehicle. The 2 man crew lacked attention to DETAIL which in fact I'd call them more of a Broad cleaning then a detail. Window streaks, horrible uneven wax with lasting residue, dirt still present in compartments and underneath the dash/foot rest. Also the products they use are horrible. May be good for your average American daily driver but of you have anything on the higher end steer clear of this service. I wish I had more time to inspect prior to payment, but unfortunately because they were late I was in a rush to use my vehicle. 2 stars for the okayest broad cleaning, 1 star for the detail read more

Ok, I'll need to preface this review by saying that I made one big mistake. I did not ask this company (Steve) what an exterior detail consisted of and the specific procedures that would be performed. I "assumed" that it would be done the same way as the other detailers had done it. In the past, my vehicles were shiny from stem to stern. This particular vehicle is a Ford-150 Crew Cab Lariat in very nice condition. When the company detailer (Jessie) arrived I was expecting the first part of the exterior detail to be a good washing prior to the waxing. However, after the detailer arrived and began working, my wife mentioned that she did not hear any water running. I went out an inquired and Jessie said that a wash was not part of their exterior detail program and he was wiping my truck down with specific chemicals that they use. He mentioned that he could clean the truck using one gallon of water. Every detailer I have used in the past gave my vehicles a good washing before any other work began, especially the wheels and tires. I found their program to be a bit unusual. Once Jessie told me he was done, I noticed areas that were not cleaned. For example, the painted areas where the fenders turn into the wheel wells. I mentioned that and he said they don't do wheel wells. I said it was a painted surface and requested that the areas in question be cleaned. He did so but should I have had to ask? Also, my running board's metalwork was not cleaned or polished. I asked him to address that and he attempted to clean them up. I also expected, as part of an exterior detail, that the black rubber on the running boards as well as the black rubber inserts on the bumpers would be treated with a product to shine them up. They were ignored. Lastly, my truck has a vinyl tonneau cover that stretches over the truck bed. That was not washed or treated either. Looking over the truck the next day I noticed dirt on the wheel rims and other places. Dirt that would have been removed with a thorough wash. I know this company got a bunch of terrific reviews. That is why I called them. However, after spending $160.00 for an exterior wax and detail, in addition to a $20. tip, I was expecting a much more comprehensive detail. I won't be calling them again. I am very disappointed, especially in light of the raving reviews from other customers. Go figure. I guess it's all in what level of job you are accustomed to. read more

You know at first I thought they did a good job however 2 days later I opened the back of my SUV and realized that they didn't even wipe any of the door jams. For the cost of the service I would at least expect that to have been done. We had just traveled across country and the front end was a mess, they did a good job on getting the bugs out of the grill. And Jesse was extremely fast with finding an appointment time for me-- he found several times that were even BEFORE I could be there, and then we got a perfect time in the afternoon the very next day. The man who came to my apartment complex to clean my car was running a little late in his appointments that day, so he was about an hour late, but to his credit, he called me several hours in advance to let me know that, and he was still done at the original estimated finish time. The owner, Jesse, was the detailer for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. He arrived on time and worked on the vehicle for many hours on a hot and humid day. He did a good job with only a few nit-picky things for me to identify afterward. I was overall pleased with the service. I then scheduled him to detail my Ford F-350 dually for the following Thursday. I received a text about 2 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time stating that he had to reschedule due to unforeseen difficulties with appointments earlier in the day. I understood, but it was inconvenient because that vehicle is typically at a storage facility. It is not easy for me to make it readily available. To his credit, he offered a discount for whenever we reschedule in the future. That was acceptable. I then texted and also left a voicemail to discuss rescheduling. I was disappointed that I never received a response to either attempt to contact him. I was pleased with the work on the Jeep. I wish that I was not left with a disappointing experience afterward with my other vehicle. read more
