Unfortunately, last Sunday, I suggested to my partner that we take his 2016 Kia Soul to this location. Before entering this wash, his car was in near-mint condition--he is on the road touring year-round and rarely drives it. It entered undamaged & exited with its brake light ripped out of its housing. This happened right as the car was being run over with the top horizontal brush that comes down the back of the vehicle. As it transitioned from the roof down his hatch, the brush was so powerful that it grabbed and ripped the light out, breaking it away from the recessed mount. We heard this, not knowing what happened, and we couldn't stop the wash, so we had to sit through it. We immediately parked at a vacuum station, and I got out to find the break light still attached to the wiring harness. However, the mounts were broken off the back of the light and where it is mounted inside the hatch (top center hatch light). I tracked down the manager on duty, Zachary. He was nice enough, took a few photos, said they'd get back to us after the cameras inside the wash were reviewed, and gave us his card. I have to say, I'm not shocked at the BS response from the 'James Malone -- Site Manager.' Please see attached screenshot of his email response or read it here: "XX. XXX My name is James Malone, and I am the Site Manager for Camel Express. I have attached a video of what happened with the timestamp (3:30). The part is unmoved or damaged from the equipment and pops out when air pressure from our drying process is applied. Additionally, with the age of your vehicle being 8 years old the plastics on the vehicle will have broken down from exposure which causes brittleness in parts. What was found before entering the wash is that your 3rd top brake light had prior damage before entering the wash. I have attached a photo highlighting the area that was prior damage. There is a crack on the passenger side part which leads to the air popping the part out. I know this came as a surprise when exiting our wash and appreciate you XX. XXX for bringing this to our attention to investigate.I hope this report sheds light on what happened when you came through for your wash and gives a clear understanding of how the events occurred. Although we understand this is frustrating for you, our team has completed the investigation and the claim has been denied due to prior damage. Please email Info@thecamelexpress.com if you have any further questions." ...I'm sure you're not shocked to read they're not taking responsibility, but the blatant outright lies come in the form of: * Photos attached to the email are not from their video cameras--they are photos Zach took when we were parked at the vacuum station. * The video that James linked in the email is of a truck. Are they so inundated with damage/claims cases that James is just rushing through the day, 'cutting and pasting' damage denials? Not a good look, Site Manager James. *There is no exterior damage; the damage was interior to the mount. The light can be seated back in the cutout, and it actually doesn't look damaged. However, it's not securely mounted because the mounts are now broken *This OEM brake light is SOLID. James' argument that the plastics will be broken down from exposure would NOT HOLD UP IN COURT. The exterior shows no damage. I repeat, only the interior mount and back of the light are damaged. This brake light will be around long after you and I return to dust, James. *James circled the sunlight reflecting off the edge of the break light--and this is supposed to indicate, what??!? I mean, I'm a woman, I've been gaslit by men before, but this takes it to another level--James is pointing out 'damage' around the light with a red circle on a photo taken by Zach AFTER the event where we are parked at the vacuums (you can see the flippin' reflection of the car parked behind us!). FYI, WE put the light back into the hatch because we didn't want it hanging out on the drive home. It sits perfectly fine in the cutout, but it's just not securely mounted because the mount is now broken. *James Malone washes his hands of responsibility and closes out the email with a NON-WORKING #. Don't bother trying to call the number associated with this location because they never answer. I literally called for an entire half hour this afternoon, and no one would pick up the phone. My partner went to the location at 3:30, shortly after my attempts to call, and conveniently, the manager had left for the day. We will be filing in small claims court because I'm so pissed that James is gaslighting us. I look forward to seeing you in court, CECW.

I've been frequenting this establishment for many years now. I have had zero issues. The service is great. The staff is very nice and helpful. All you can use vacuums, floor mat cleaner, and towels. Their monthly plans are very reasonable. You can go as many times as you want per month. Keeps my vehicle sharp.

Was greeted by a very friendly guy that assisted me with a buy one get one free car wash deal. Got a great wash and my car looks great. Used their vacuums and they were very strong and got out every bit of dirt in my car. They had free microfiber towels to use and a great mat cleaner. My car left looking in tip top shape. Will be returning!

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a business. Paid $1 for a car wash and left with over $1200 worth of damages to my vehicle. Filed a report with the manager to review the incident and claimed my vehicle was already damaged based on a comparison to a same model car that came in the same day that was not the same year or trim. After I finally was able to speak with the owner regarding the situation, the owner told me to take it their suggusted shop which I did. Received the quote from the body shop and was sent directly to the car wash. I did not hear back from the owner or car wash until I had to follow-up a week and a half later which the owner said that they were not going to cover the damages based on "my attitude" and actions when I came to review the video with the manager. "My attitude" being that I threaten to take further actions against the car wash if they did not cover the damages. The owner offered to pay half but I respectfully declined after my counter offer was a "slap in the face", "a waste of time" and for me "take it or leave". BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS.

Best wash I've had! I got to be the very first customer to go through the car wash. There is even a light show inside the car wash and and projects that projects there logo on your windshield which I love because most kids that are scared of car washes will love this place. There are also hand sanitizing stations next to the vacuums because you never know what will be on those handles. The manager was a super nice guy and gave us a quick tour of the wash before we went through and gave us free t-shirts for the camel express.

It's hard to see in the picture. But there is a line where the middle of the tail gait and bumper are still dirty.

I've never had my car all that clean after going through the wash... cleaner yes, but not clean…read more Rims have been hit but not on the sides making the wheels look silly, sap or dirt on the roof still there. It's not been *bad* historically but it is not great and what I'd consider acceptable. This last wash something changed. It was louder and welp, there goes the right windshield wiper. It grabbed the rubber and peeled it and threw it while I was watching. Got through the wash with a still dirty car and lost the ability to use the wipers until I replaced them later that day. I recently had an option to do the best at no additional charge and did it... no real difference in how it removed dirt. Wheels and rims filthy, top of the car pretty much unchanged, sides looked good. This place is good for maintaining, but if you need some actual cleaning such as a flock of birds decided to gift you with an unexpected Jackson Pollock hood painting, it doesn't do so great. They'll tell you you can come around and run it through again and they do live up to that, but it still doesn't really clean that well. Got spoiled at a Buck-ee's car wash that my car came out sparkly at I guess.

I'm so disappointed I have to write this review but IF YOU HAVE A CAR 5 YEARS OR OLDER DONT GO HERE…read moreand if you do be ready to pay for any damages yourself. Recently they broke my taillight and refused to take any responsibility or help with the damage. I have had 3 different damages with their overpowered drying fans. My most recent incident the machine blew my entire driver tail light cover off and shattered it in the machine. Now a $12 car wash costs me $200 Volvo taillight :/ and I can never return any of my cars to this wash or recommend that anyone who has a vehicle older than 5 years. They will literally break off parts of your vehicle off. When they do "investigate" and send you an email with it happening directly on the camera and they say they are not liable since the vehicle is older than 5 years. It's a legal umbrella they use to hide under even tho the video clearly shows their machine blew off parts of your car. Previously our Kia (2014) almost had the drivers side mirror blown off it smacked so hard back I thought it was a goner. Once I realized the mirror was ok I didn't report anything just thought the fan was a bit aggressive. The second incident my Volvo (2010) mirror was blown out of the holder but luckily we were able to glue it back in socket so I didn't report it but I should have taken that as a big red flag after the first incident with the Kia. And now this third incident proved that they will not help you if they damage your vehicle I tried to keep it private and talk with the management directly but since they show no sense of responsibility I figured I should let everyone know how it really works if they damage your vehicle. Good luck out there y'all it's sad when businesses can't own up to their mistakes and make things right.

Since buying a place, I have often surprised myself what some grit, time and the internet can accomplish. That said, when I don't have to do something, I don't. I know. I blame modern society robbing the modern man of the desire to do much besides call a licensed professional and enjoy a cold beverage while said professional gets the problem fixed. So it came to pass that I *needed* to wash my car. The automated car wash by me had devolved into a money-grabbing hot mess so they were out of contention. I had resigned myself to *choke* wash the car myself. Now, back in the day (like, way back), I used to love to wash the cars with my dad. We would get a bucket of sudsy water, big sponges, towels, wax, and tire shine and get to work. This was a long time ago but I was fairly certain i had the muscle memory to get my car into tip-top shape. I headed over to the local hardware store to buy some air filters and car wash paraphernalia when said hardware store was out of the filters I needed. This hadn't happened before so I, begrudgingly, made my way to the big box hardware store up the road. On the way there, I saw it: Inglewood Autowash. I suppose I'd passed it many times before but I never paid attention to it before. But there it was: a bastion of car radios, kids splashing about and grown-ups washing their own vehicles. It was a sign. *I* was going to wash my own car. But I was woefully unprepared. I pulled up into a stall... and looked around. Thankfully everyone was in their respective zones else I would have been really embarrassed. Since I am trying to pay it forward, let me give you the skinny. 1.) There are directions in every stall. The directions give you the prospective order of the wash and how to best utilize your time. 2.) The wash only takes cash and that cash comes in the form of quarters. Since I relish in being a Luddite, I always have change on me. If you're not a prepared scout, you'll want to know before you go. 3.) It's a $1 for 3 minutes. I would say a safe bet is $5 which is still much much less than you'll pay at an automated wash. When you insert the quarters, you turn the dial to the setting you want. As long as there's money in the slot, go crazy with turning the dial. Just go in order from the guide on the wall. Got it? Good. Well, there's something else you should know. When that hose turns on, you will feel ALIVE. There's so much power coming out of that thing, you'll need to use both hands. I was a bit stunned when I started, so my head wasn't fully in the game. But once I realized that I had the power of pre-wash, super soapy soap, rinse, and wax in the ball of my fist, I felt like a super hero. This isn't the relaxed car wash in the driveway (although it could be). This was the Sarah-Connor-in-T2-jacked-with-rifles-and-ready-to-rumble version. I was spraying. I was washing. I was waxing. I was... breathing heavy? I really need to get out more. Like I said, I wasn't as prepared as I should have been. I should have had more change on me. I should have come with rags. But for an impromptu car wash that required some muscle, my car looked pretty decent. I know better for next time and I had the satisfaction of doing it myself. In these modern times, it's the little things...
