Priority loading for medical/post surgery is a joke. Just had a total hip replacement at a hospital in Seattle and was ready to be closest to the bathroom on the lower deck. What did WFS do? They put my husband and me on the second side deck without a bathroom. 20 steps with a walker-no elevator to use if need be. Really terrible experience.

Ok. So this place is really cool! It's a WHOLE PEIR of shops and bars. Kind of like our Aloha Tower BUT 10X's better!! Why?! Because it's 5x's the size than Aloha tower. AND... it has a lot of games. It has a huge huge arcade and a carousel that runs through the day. On top of the giant wheel, the ducks clothes at 10PM every day. The price to ride the Ferris wheel is $19. Ûgeneral adult mission.

I am a sucker for a ferry ride on a beautiful day or even a rainy day. Headed to Bainbridge on Mothers Day. You need to have time and patience the last couple of years to ride the ferry, especially on a holiday. But if you have the time and the money. I think it was $38 to Bainbridge with 2 adult passengers. Hopefully one day when the construction is done there will be more than honey buckets for waiting travelers. Hopefully one day again the crew will be happy to be ghere and the experience will be a positive one.

Based on a text that I got from a blog about how to best friend 24 hours in Seattle I decided to take this very round trip tonight the island. I also ended up taking the perfect trip just at sunset. If you're not from the area it could be a little confusing to find the entrance because there's a lot of construction going on. Luckily a nice local person pointed me in the right direction. The ticket was about nine dollars round-trip. I paid at the window and walked down the corridor. There was a line of people waiting but then I heard one of the attendants mentioned to another rider that he could go around to the side door so I just followed that person to go inside. That allowed me to board sooner and I have to wait in the line. The ride takes about 30 minutes. It was a beautiful evening but a jacket was still needed. The different phases of the sunset or gorgeous. Then on the trip back you get to see the beautiful lights of the city. When you get to the island did you have to get off and get back in line if you don't plan on visiting the island like me. If you don't want to pay for one of the more expensive harbor cruises this is a nice alternative.

We had half a day between arriving back in Seattle and our flights home. So ... we decided to visit Bainbridge. This required taking a Washington State Ferry. I was impressed by the on-time performance of the ferry service, the cleanliness of the ferries we took, and the friendly/helpful service of the ferry crew members. The terminal buildings were a bit drab, and the rest rooms needed attention. Overall, a very good experience.

All the cruise companies were sold out so I opted to take the ferry. For $9 I got a 35 minute boat ride over to Bainbridge round trip. The ticket is valid for one round trip within a 3 month period and it is flexible so you can choose whatever schedule you like. The boats aren't at 100% capacity yet so you wait in a very long line to make sure you get on. When on the boat you can sit outside, inside, walk around and go to different levels. You can even drive your car on or ride a bicycle on board. Lots of people have dogs too! A great alternative and honestly better than a harbor cruise because you get to go explore somewhere else. FYI...Bainbridge is quaint and adorable.

9$ for a roundtrip ferry ride? Say yes. Beautiful views of the Seattle skyline and water/ Olympic mountain park. Sit on the top - it can be very windy but there's nothing like a sea breeze and glorious city views of the skyline for me. Worth risking my false eyelashes blowing away (luckily, they didn't.) Our ferry didn't exactly leave on time so you should plan for that if you're on a tight schedule. The website is a nightmare because it is extremely sloowww, so be patient. If you buy online- the tickets don't actually say round trip. Just know that it's 9$ going west and free going east (back to Seattle). Very easy to scan the code at the terminal. You can buy tickets at the Washington ferry terminal as well. There was no line on a Sunday afternoon to Bainsbridge island. Definitely would do it again in the summer. Address if you're getting dropped off: 801 Alaskan Way Pier 52. Seattle, WA 98104 (Right next to pike's place) This could be a cheap date, a tourist stop or just a solo trip for fresh air. Really took me to an episode of Grey's Anatomy (cheesy I know!)

What a blast! I love taking the ferry to Bainbridge. So easy to get on board and then spend a half hour exploring the ship and taking in the sights. Smooth ride all the way in both directions. Got a snack in the canteen to round out the experience. They serve Ivar's chowder and it's a pretty good price too. Ships are clean and comfy.

The Seattle Island Ferry provides ferry service between Seattle and Bainbridge island. The Washington State Ferries operate this route, with departures from Pier 52. The ferry ride/trip takes about 35 mins over to Bainbridge, departures starts at 5:30am and runs frequently throughout the day. Purchasing tickets, ($11.05 ) and boarding was quick and smooth. We sure enjoyed our round trip Ferry Ride, and loved the stunning, scenic views across Puget Sound, got a nice glimpse of Mt. Rainier, and even saw some wildlife sightings. truly amazing experience. The only junk part is not having enough time, I recommend starting out first thing in the morning so you have more time to explore Bainbridge Island. I want to go back on the ferry again, "the tomorrow is never promise, enjoying life moments," so grateful. Thank you to my phone for tracking me!

We ended up really enjoying the tour and would highly recommend to visitors. This would especially be a great thing to add to your itinerary if you're only in the city for a short time, as you get to see a lot of landmarks in a short time. You also get to hear about the city's history and key industries. The ride overall is pretty smooth, and my husband, who gets motion sickness, was totally fine. The boat when docked can experience a little more motion, however, so your mileage may vary. We also found it easy to get seats with good views, and the guides were easy to hear anywhere on the boat. A lot of it was about the downtown Seattle buildings, Space Needle, buildings and parks by the shore, the sea ports and many other cool facts along the way. I throughly enjoyed the hour long tour. The weather was also fantastic to take stunning pictures of the downtown, the mountains and the port. They also had a bar in second level where they served alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, pop corn and some small snacks. Prices were decent for it being a tourist activity. We liked both popcorn and the strawberry lemonade.
