my kitchen has red oak hardwood floor, which was water damaged, some of the planks need to be replaced, and the whole floor needed to be scraped, stained, and polyurethaned to match. dave`s men came, did a magnificent job and the floor looks better than when it was originally laid. an amazing job with a price that beat all others. if you need a new wood floor, or repairs this is the place to go. thanks again dave. mark s. read more

These guys are true Professionals. We recently installed hardwood in 2 bedrooms, and refinished our entire living room. From the quote process Cody was extremely helpful in walking us thru all of the options of materials, stain types and finishing Poly. They started install Wednesday morning and we could walk on the floors Saturday afternoon. It's a big project and is a disruption to everyday life, so it was nice to have a company that made the entire process painless. The floors came out incredible, and Cody even sent me a link for specific furniture pads that will protect the new floors. There are a few flooring companies in Hunterdon and Somerset county which makes bidding the project tricky, but I absolutely recommend Washington Flooring for their professional service ! read more

The first time we used them, we couldn't have been happier and referred them to everyone. Just had them finish a hardwood install job in the hallway and I cant believe how bad this experience was. Aesthetics: holes all over my walls with one very large one that they threw spackle on like a toddler would have done, mismatched bullnosing that is very visible when walking up the stairs, and dirty hand prints and blue scuffs all over the walls. As for the installers there was a language barrier so I couldn't ask them any questions, they didnt put the moisture resistant paper layer down between the hardwood and the plywood then lied about it saying they infact did which i took pictures of for proof..!, and it took them 8 hours to complete the job. I am so utterly disappointed. Will be looking elsewhere for my next floor install. These guys have lost their touch and, sadly, a customer. read more

Shockingly Rude when asking questions about their installation of a wooden floor. I suspect, since I know much about installing floors, I might have exposed they are not as good as they claim. Regardless, there is no reason to be rude. Folks only behave like this when they are covering up something.... Just saying, they are very nice up front and if you don't known anything. We hired Washington Flooring this past summer to refinish our original wood floors and were very happy with their work. Cody was very easy to work with, he quickly scheduled a visit for an estimate and answered any questions we had. The refinishers arrived right on time and completed the project in the scheduled amount of time despite extremely humid weather. Part of the refinishing was for hardwood that had been under linoleum and tile for who knows how long. We were skeptical refinishing them was even possible but it was and Washington Flooring did a great job doing it. read more

This is the 4th time in the past 25 years or so that we've used Washington Flooring for our various flooring needs and there is a very simple reason we keep going back...they are reasonably priced and do excellent work. From the first visit to discuss our options to the completion of the job, it was a very pleasant experience. We replaced our entire first floor with all the same flooring and it came out beautifully. Although we thought the demo work would be extremely difficult and time consuming, the crew worked their tails off and completed everything in less than 1 1/2 days. The next day the installation crew came in and completed the whole job the same day.
