I hadn't realized that my sleep apnea was hindering my body's ability to shed weight, but she helped me understand that sleep and weight issues go hand in hand. I don't think I would've made it without her support! She is extremely encouraging, understanding, non-judgmental and knowledgeable. When I reached my weight loss goal and no longer needed my CPAP, she was the FIRST to celebrate that incredible health milestone with me. You know it's the sign of a great doctor when they are excited to have helped you get to a point where you no longer need them. As the years passed, it gradually turned out that I needed a CPAP again. I had lost track of Dr. Broderick, but when I found out she'd opened her own practice, I was so delighted! I had not cared much for Sound Sleep Health so the opportunity to work with her directly was great! If you are fortunate enough to have been referred to her by one of her happy patients, or to have stumbled upon her some other way, be glad! I heard my dentist and the other dentist saying/yelling in the office (while I'm sitting in the chair) that if I didn't pay I don't get the device. My dentist came back into the "cubicle room" and explained she would knocked off $100). I want to make it clear I asked about price of the device prior to going and after I was brought back into the dental office for a second fitting. It was the end of the year and I had already paid a few hundred dollars. I also want to make it clear the individual who coordinates with the insurance company was a negative nightmare. Without a doubt negative energy / negative person (in my experience). Below is my response after being told I'd be issued a refund TWO months later: ~~~~ Thank you for reaching out, and I appreciate your attention to this matter. I must admit, I found it rather amusing as well that I was charged $500 in December, especially considering the circumstances surrounding my inquiry about the charge. Unfortunately, my interaction with M left much to be desired in terms of professionalism and customer service. In light of this, I'd like the refund for the overpayment returned to my credit card. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you require any further information or documentation from my end to process the refund. What a change this has made! I'm definitely sleeping better, waking up more rested and staying asleep longer. The front desk staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Doneskey is friendly and takes the time to talk with you about your problems and discuss solutions. I looked up sleep apnea mouth guards before coming here and I was worried because I have a very small mouth, and the way they typically work involves a lot of structure on the sides. The mouth guards here are connected by a metal peg and slot at the front, and so it fits easily in my tiny mouth. My medical insurance did not cover the mouth guard at all, so I did pay out of pocket for this, but it has made a difference in my health, which is the best investment. Definitely worth it, just check both medical and dental because they might split the cost.

Within a matter of 6 days of working with Overlake Sleep Disorder Center: 1) Initial visit with Dr. Singh 2) In-lab sleep study (which felt like I was staying at the Westin) 3) Results from sleep study and a detailed visit with Dr. Singh explaining the results! 4) New machine and supplies I was over the moon to be able to pick up my sleep machine and supplies right in the office - unlike what I had to deal with at Evergreen by driving to Redmond to get setup @ Performance Health Care. She's the reason my experience is three stars, and not zero. The facility is very disappointing. I've done sleep studies where the bedroom is made to feel like a hotel room, comfortable, quiet and dark, facilitating the best sleep possible. This is not the atmosphere at all at Bel-Red. There were no sheets on the bed, for a start, just the mattress cover, pillow cases (thank goodness) and a thin blanket. I asked the tech about this and she gave me one sheet, which I used between myself and the blanket, but there was no sheet on the bed between my body and the mattress (disgusting to think how many other patients had slept there with no covering). The room was warm and there was no way to adjust the temperature without doing so for the whole suite. The room was too light, as the curtains did not shut out the street light from outside and there was a lot of equipment in the room that also shed light. The room was not soundproof, so I could hear the conversation of the other patient as well as every foot fall near my door. To call the tech, there was a button that emitted a loud phone call sound, which I could also hear from across the suite when the other patient called the tech. Also, the one shared bathroom in the suite was down the hall. In previous sleep studies I've done, I was given an en-suite with a private bathroom and shower. Taking a shower in the morning after my sleep study was not an option, so I went home to shower, with the adhesive on my skin and in my hair. Again, Galina made my experience the best it could have been. She was solicitous, brought me the one sheet and tried to help with the air flow using an air purifier. All in all, I was very disappointed with the facility and will not do another sleep study at Bel-Red.

Later it turned out that 1) inspire was generally counter-indicated to me due to anatomic reasons (it took two surgeries to fix) and 2) was configured really badly. As a result, my sleep got 10x times worse. She responded by throwing an ever increased dose of different sleeping pills at me. Eventually, I could not tolerate it further, and asked for a traditional surgery. She called me a fool, quite literally. Fortunately, the surgery was partially successful, dramatically lowering my AHI. Some time after that she dropped me from the practice.

Starting week 2 of my trip and I really must say, this works like an absolute charm. The only drawback is a slight soreness to my jaw in the morning. If I do the math, that means they are charging $2,044 per hour simply to speak to me for 15 minutes. No services. No tools. No cleanup.
