Jack did not do the job to code and when his worked failed he ghosted me. Pick a family run company like Bob's or Greenwood Heating

I misplaced my trust in Jack to stand behind his work. Do not use him!!!!! I had my furnaced repaired and serviced 2 months ago by him in mid September and the furnace has stopped working multiple times having displaying error after error since then. Every time I have tried to reach Jack, he has been unavailable or waited days to reply to me - all while I have had no heat in my home. Now, once again I've had no heat for days and it is below freezing. He has ghosted me completely. I have to pay a huge new fee to find a new company to come out to look at my unit costing me even more money. This has been stressful and will now literally cost my family their Christmas. Thanks, Jack, for being completely unreliable and frankly unkind to boot. read more

Very poor communication, reliability, and customer service on maintenance. Jack installed my boiler in 2022. It worked fine for a year then had a series of faults and issues. It was very difficult to get him to come out and service it. When he did come out, he couldn't resolve the issues. More troubling was inability to contact him, missed appointments, not willing to respond to my communications. Essentially he ghosted me on and off for a year. Eventually, I had to find another contractor in Spokane to come out and repair the boiler, even though Jack's work should have been under warranty. It was refreshing to not be ignored. read more

Rough time of year to get service on my boiler. Seems all the oil heating companies have lost their boiler experts. I've had three bewildered service people walk away after waiting several days for appointments with them. Finally, Jack shows up and speaks the language of my beast! There were several setbacks, as the parts are hard to come by, but Jack persevered and made my house a home again! I've got heat!!!! read more

Our trusty boiler stopped working in March (on an especially cold weekend). It was such a well-oiled machine we hardly ever serviced it. Our house was freeeezing. We called a few places who either didn't work on boilers, only had one boiler guy who couldn't come for a week or just never answered our calls at all. Then I found Washington Boilers and Jack on Yelp. Someone said he spoke "boiler" so I called. He was there the same day and though we had to wait a few days for parts to be air shipped, he knew within minutes exactly what the problem was, what parts he needed and how to get and install them! We are very grateful to Jack and Washington Boilers and are now on their list to have our boiler serviced annually! read more

I wish I could give a positive response here as most of the other reviewers seem to have had a good experience with Jack and Washington Boilers. The project was the installation of a new boiler in a house that we were remodeling. At first, everything went well, the old boiler was removed, the new boiler installed and all the associated piping relocated as necessary. However, the job has been in this stage for months now, with the remaining steps being to get the boiler operating and to make sure that all of the radiators are working properly. Despite many, many attempts to have Jack come back to finish the job, and several commitments to show up to do just that, he has failed. Now Jack ignores my calls and when I leave a message or text, he fails to respond. I'm very disappointed as I was happy with Jack's work up to the point that the boiler installation was completed. read more

Jack came and fixed our gas fireplace up at Snoqualmie Pass. He was very knowledgeable and not only did he complete the repair quickly, he was able to teach us how to maintain it, recommend for the appropriate thermostat, and recommend a fan for better heat distribution which will save us a lot of money! He also inspected our propane tank regulator for us. It's rare to find a contractor who is both extremely knowledgeable and pragmatic. I found Jack to possess both of those qualities. read more

I had a water heater replaced by Jack at Washington Boilers. He was very professional and arrived on time first to assess the situation and give me a bid. The day that we scheduled for the water heater to be installed he contacted me first thing in the morning to let me know he was on the way. He was very thorough in the work that he did and worked around a very tight workplace for my water heater (located in a closet). Jack is very knowledgeable and clearly knows his trade inside and out. He also went an extra step for me to install some new flooring under the water heater because the previous one was on top of carpet. He also installed a new kitchen faucet, garbage disposal and water line for my fridge and my new smoke alarms after finding out that the person that was supposed to install those items was unable to do so. He cleaned everything up after he was done and hauled everything away. He is very reasonably priced. I will definitely use Jack in the future for any other plumbing needs and have already referred him to several friends. I highly recommend Washington Boilers. read more
