However, my most recent pickup resulted with stains on one pair of dress slacks and holes on the crease at the knee on another pair of dress slacks. I took the slacks back to the tailor that I got them from to not only get copies of the receipts, but also their opinion on what caused the stains and holes. They told me the stains looked like dry cleaning fluid, which should come out and the holes looked like where the material possibly got melted in the pressing process. I took the slacks back and they were able to get the stains out of one pair and they confirmed that it was most likely dry cleaning fluid. However, the pair with the holes they just put a patch on the back side. The patch was very obvious as were the holes and the crease would never be sharp and crisp with the patch. They offered a $20 credit for this pair of dress slacks and I declined! I realize they probably don't check for damage on items, but I'm meticulous with my clothes and I am sure they weren't damaged when I dropped them off (yes, I know he said she said). Again...sad to see companies that will not stand behind their service. Looking for recommendations for cleaners now....

I would recommend finding a seamstress because the tailor was more worried about talking you out of doing the repair then figuring out the best way to go about the repair. Also they didn't seem to have set prices, I was quoted different prices from different people all working in the same area.
