The ladies that work here are really nice, but a few of them are nit-picky and particular. They will correct you if you try to over-load or over-suds the machines. (I saw this happen one time a few months ago and a guy went off on the very nice woman. She said to him that the machines break too frequently and it's her job to make sure that it doesn't happen. I'm pretty sure he mumbled an expletive but she looked at me and just rolled her eyes.) I understand where they're coming from though cause I hate showing up with a bunch of broken machines. One of the ladies even informed me that doing one $5.00 HE load is equivalent to doing 3 regular washing machines full at $2.00 each ($6.00 total) so I've been saving $1.00 every time I come in. Woohoo! I've learned to avoid Sunday mornings and afternoons if at all possible. I've come throughout the week in the mornings and they're pretty busy but not as bad as Sundays. The ultimate best time to come is on Friday and Saturday nights. They are absolutely dead and it'll just be you and the laundromat employee. They also recently upgraded and there's flat screen TVs and a whole new wall of dryers. Score! Perks: there's also a Donut King connected to it, so bring 90 cents to grab a donut while you wait. Moving itself is hard enough. Having to find all your services and necessities (dry cleaner,…read moreplumber, dentist, etc etc) is equally as hard and worrying since really, you don't know how good the place is (even after reading reviews) until you actually try it. Finding a dry cleaner is especially taxing on my mind since in the past, I've struggled with cleaners that would annoyingly staple numbers to the tags of my clothes, items that would come back smelling odd, items that would come back unclean, items that wouldn't be ready for pickup on the said date and also even lost until I've questioned. With each city I've gone to, I would eventually find a solid cleaner and then hated having to change with a move. I definitely did not want to go over all of this again. My husband found Campus Cleaners for us and turned in some suits for dry cleaning. Campus Cleaners did an amazing and quick job. All items were accounted for, ready for pickup at the designated time, charged at a fair price, and nicely hung and clean. The parking is incredibly easy -- though that may not be as much as a concern in this town. The woman I spoke with was also very helpful, friendly, and genuinely nice to chat with. We will be coming here again for more dry cleaning (to probably include specific stains) and also to test out their alterations services. I'm hopeful we've found our go-to cleaners! :)
