You have to buy a card to use their equipment and it costs $10. It comes preloaded with $3 which won't start anything. You then have to re-insert your card to put funds on it. I've been coming here since 2018 and don't think much has changed. You need to purchase a reloadable card to use, the laundromat does not use coins. Once you have the card you can load money onto it (cash or card) and then use the laundromat card in the machines. Prices are listed on all the machines. They have small, medium, large, and x-large machines to wash, large dryers. The large machines that I used today were $8 each. They have ladders and stools you can use if you can't reach the top of the machine to pour your liquid detergent, bleach, and fabric softener. I usually don't wait inside, I'll wait in my car. I've been told to take everything with you because your stuff will get stolen if left at the machine or near it.

The one sanity I found was hiring Harford Cleaners to restore all of my textiles. They arrived promptly to help me sort my things into 'save', 'donate', and 'toss'. They packed it all up, and in a few days returned the things for which I requested a rush order. Their work on those items was outstanding. A few months later, when the seasons changed, I requested the return of a few more items of clothing, They selected the items accurately, and delivered them promptly. Fourteen months later, my unit still can't be inhabited, my things are still stored there. Throughout, they have done a great job with the paperwork for me and the insurance company, saving me much aggravation. I strongly recommend them for remediating fire and smoke damage to textiles.

Our Mission: Enhance the quality of life for families living in our community by providing a safe, clean and friendly environment to help save time and build lasting relationships. Anyone who walks through the double doors of the Wash-N-Fold Express can read those words on the wall to their right. It might sound a little aw-shucks-hokey, but when we first started talking about building a business in Edgewood, we wanted to build more than just a business. We also wanted to contribute something meaningful to our hometown. We wanted to build a useful business. We wanted to create jobs and hire people from our area. We wanted to be active participants in our neighborhood. We wanted to build a community. Because it's about more than just laundry to us. It's about Lester coming in every Sunday to do the wash for his two sweet girls who give us hand drawn pictures to hang on the walls. It's about J.R. walking in the doors with a ready smile and a "Hey Sweetie" greeting on his lips. It's about teasing Melanie68 about memorizing her number so we don't have to rifle through all the pages in our valued patron rewards program book (Do 9 washes, get the 10th one FREE!). It's about the Professor bringing in his breakfast every weekend and sharing it with our WNF Mascot Zeke. You're right, Prof, the egg whites are a lot healthier than the Doritos we feed him. It's about running into old friends again like Tony and Glenn from our days of living in Beacon Terrace, and reminiscing about building forts in the backyard, playing stickball and shooting marbles in the dirt. It's about Coach Slutzky, who used to live up the street and who is now president of the County Council, making time to come to our Grand Opening last month to also reminisce about our families growing up together in Edgewood. It's about John striking up a conversation with Devan over a college basketball game on TV only to end up with a math tutor (John, we are really pulling for you. Good luck on your test today. If you pass, we're celebrating your new job!). It's about sitting with Lucille and grieving with her over the recent loss of her little puppy. It's about the Sanchezes and the Amayous teaching us Spanish so we can converse. "Hola! ¿cómo estás?" "Bien, gracias." And it's about Sealants sharing his inspiring story about what makes this country so great. He has worked hard for six years and four months to bring his lovely wife, Olive, and their five children to America. He's still working hard to bring over his two children left behind in Africa. We're pulling for you, too, Sealants. All these people we've met? They are a part of our Wash-N-Fold community now. A part of our family. And we are grateful for their business, but even more grateful for the time they spend with us and the wonderful stories and laughs that they share. Packed very nicely. I recommend. I just think their communication could be a little better. I never got the receipt for services. So couple days after they dropped it off. They emailed me that it was past due. If they would have sent receipt earlier or called. I would have submitted the payment asap. So only one suggestion better communication.
