The hours at this location seem to have changed without informing patrons or changing the sign on the door. I go at the same day and time; Friday at 6:50am. About a month and a half ago it was still closed at that time. I came back several times between 7am and 12pm, and it wasn't open until 12:30pm that time. Now, the last two Fridays in a row it was still closed at 6:50am. As a result, I had to take an extended lunch and lose pay. Fridays at 6:50am, before I go to work, is the only time I can do my laundry, so I need to know whether hours have changed and whether the location is going to be open going forward, because this is extremely inconvenient and unprofessional. read more

I was traveling for working and the lady working during the day 8-4 on wash and folds absolutely killed it. You can tell she cares about the customers and took amazing care of my laundry. Everything was hung up nicely on hangers and my socks and underwear were gathered with a rubber band. So thoughtful. And it was only $12 for 9 pounds of laundry which is like a medium size load. read more

I like this spot. There are exterior and interior security cameras. They offer wash and fold services. The staff is super friendly, it's clean and well kept. The patrons are also very nice. It's in a good area and well lit at night. Food, shopping and an Ice machine are all conveniently located. I definitely recommend this location. read more

I went there today to do my laundry. None of the washing machined were working there is at least 10 notes on every washing machine saying that they did not work the place is filthy. None of the dryers are working. The attendant is lazy. She does shit the last aperson that worked there. Mary was excellent and the place was clean now it's disgusting.! read more

My washer went on the blink. Bought a new one but it won't be delivered for two weeks. I had to wash my clothes. I haven't been to the laundromat in about 20 years! wow! Things sure have changed! My hubs and I went to Wash Around the Clock! We were in for a rude awakening! There is now no attendant only a man that was vacuuming and cleaning out the lint filters! There was a sign that stated start here. We went over and began reading the instructions. We had to use a debit/credit card to purchase a card that cost $2. We then had to put money on the card to which we put $15. We only had a large load of clothes that we were going to put in the largest machine there to save money, so we thought! That machine was$11.75 With the $2 fee we had to pay for the card that left us with $1.25 to dry! My hubs went back to the card machine to put $2/3 more dollars on the card only to find out the lease amount you could put on the card was $10 and there was a $.40 fee to do that! Totally unbelievable! And definitely a huge Rip Off/Scam! Dryer was .75/8 minutes! After all that we have a card with $8 left on it! I don't ever plan to go back to the laundromat again! My nice hubs blessed a young lady coming in with the card! Is it even legal to charge a fee for a card to wash clothes that you've got to pay money for and then charge a fee ever time you reload the card and you can only reload for a minimum of $10?? Talk about highway robbery!!! And most of the people using the laundromat appeared to not be wealth! Neither am I! But, that just seems to be wrong to overcharge people for washing their clothes! you're already overcharging to use the machine and then to charge a fee to buy a card and an extra fee ever time they reload it and it can only be reloaded for a minim of $10! This is shady, senseless, heartless, greedy and a total Ripoff! My two cents worth for free! if I do find myself needing the laundromat again I will find one that doesn't use a card! Clean, safe place to do your laundry, at any time of the day. This place is open 24/7, which is a great thing for nite owls like me. There is an attendant on-site during daylight hours in case you need assistance. The machines are pretty new and functional, and not overly expensive. FAIR WARNING: These machines do not accept cash or credit cards!! You can ONLY use the machines here if you purchase one of their "VTM MoneyCard"s at this location. And the card is ONLY good at this location, not the other Wash Around the Clocks. Weird setup, but it compels you to return here if you leave with money still left on your card. Or if you never come back, that's just money you lost (and they've gained). The good part is that the MoneyCard supposedly never expires, and has no fees. You pay $1 for the card, which you get to use toward doing your laundry, and then add as much money (with cash or credit cards) as you'd like to the card. I bought a card and added $5, which allowed me to wash and dry one regular size load and have about a dollar left on the card. The washing machine was a regular size one, but the dryer was huge and could probably fit 3 loads easily. I dislike the MoneyCard pay scheme, but it's not a bad place overall. Also, they have several large tv's in here for your entertainment, but I'm looking around and I don't see a single power outlet to plug and mobile gadgets into. So come with your phone/tablet/laptop fully charged, or be prepared to take an hour-long break from staring at a computer screen, ...if you can survive without it for that long. heh read more

I live in a small apartment with a small washer/dryer front loader combo, which does the job for my clothing and linens. However, when I need a larger washer and dryer for my towels, blankets, and comforters; I take them to "Wash Around the Clock" on Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, Florida. This laundromat facility, no matter what time I visit is always clean, organized, and fully stocked. I've never came at a time I was not able to have immediate access to a washer or dryer upon my arrival. As for the staff Mary, Jules, and Christian are always attentive to customers needs, eagered to help, and maintain an environment suitable for all individuals. As for the machines, the washers and dryers are heavy duty, always clean, and affordable. Now that I have a go to laundromat that fits my needs, I never dread laundry day. May 2020 - C. This laundromat works on the card system. Cards are hard to load and cost $1.00 each. I got one machine loaded and going. I loaded the 2nd machine to find that I only had $1.51 on the card I needed $2.49 for the load. I went to load more money on the card I had the card machine took my card. The staff were unwilling to return or refund the card balance. 3 cards and $9.00, I washed one load. I left never to return again I will drive a another mile and go to a laundromat were the staff works with you. read more

Just came here for the first...and last time. Laundry is clean and machines seem new but the cost to do your laundry is a total rip off. Medium washer is $2.49 for 25 minutes and dryer is $1.56 for 35 minutes. The problem is that you have to buy a special card for $1.00 and then load it with whole dollars only. So even though my wash and dry cost $ 4.05, I had to drop $6.00 to get it done. If you're a local, you'll be able to use the card again. I had a VERY negative experience the first time I went to Wash Around the Clock. It was during Hurricane Michael and I had no electricity at home so I went there to do my laundry. I took a book with me to read. When my clothes were done washing,I put my book down on my chair and went to transfer them to the dryer. When I got back, my book was gone! Someone sitting next to me told me the lady had come through to collect trash and had put my book in it. I went to the desk to ask about it and was told that not only had my book gone in the trash but the bags had been taken out to the dumpster! I was so livid that not only had my book been taken when I was only away from it for a short time but that the person who took it didn't even keep it at the desk until the end of the day in case someone came to claim it. I went out to the dumpster and with the help of another customer dug through the trash bags to find my book. I never did get an apology from the person at the store. When I go now, I make sure to bring as little extra stuff with me as possible and keep it with me at all times. Thank goodness I have a washer and dryer at home so I only have to use Wash Around the Clock when I have big items to wash or when one of my machines at home isn't working. read more
