My children have been seeing Dr. Alissa Packer for 6 years now and I cannot say enough good things about her and the entire practice. Finding a pediatrician you love can be tricky, as you are finding someone that works for you and your kids. Dr. Packer has the best combination of being kind, positive, and setting your children at ease while being thorough and attentive with parents. She always takes the time to address all of my concerns and questions no matter how small and makes it clear she values my insight as a parent as well. She breaks everything down easily so both parents and children leave educated and understanding the "why" to treatment and wellbeing. She stays current with research and has always provided excellent resources to follow up with any concerns or issues. We drive out of our way to see her (and honestly would drive farther). As for the practice, the office and rooms are clean, bright, and engaging for children. The nurses have always been kind and quick with any procedure, and the front office staff is friendly and efficient. I have never had a long wait time, even when I have had to schedule an unexpected appointment. All around it is a great practice with excellent physicians. read more

We have always had a positive experience with Wasatch Pediatrics! Their office is clean and tidy and always have a welcoming Check-in desk - from the darling seasonal decor in the background (showing an extra effort to make the office appealing) to the employees at the front desk always greeting you with a smile, ready to help and make sure everything is covered and we are up to date on appointments. They have a great space to entertain our kids while we wait - although I have never had to wait longer than 2-3 minutes before I am called back to our room! They are always on schedule and take care of things in a timely manner - time is SO important. We have been lucky enough to work consistently with Dr. Packer and have LOVED her. She is very thorough, is a GREAT listener and truly wants to help you feel more comfortable as a parent and always makes our boys feel so comfortable. She is always happy to help give new ideas/approaches to helping our children succeed when I ask. I have never felt forced/pressured into anything and am grateful for her mindfulness and sensitivity to each of our children's needs. read more

My kids, no joke, jump for joy when it's time to go to see their doctor at Southpoint Pediatrics. Dr Bosworth and his MAs always make it a happy experience for the kids to be there. He listens to our concerns as parents and doesn't second guess us or belittle us. We were able to discover and resolve a diagnosis for our son quickly because he trusted that we knew what we were talking about. The other practitioners are professional and caring. You don't really have to take your kids to urgent care for being sick because you can see one of the other physicians in the office, usually same day. The office staff are always smiling and ready to help you get the appointments you need. We have lived all over the Salt Lake valley, but we have remained forever faithful to Dr Bosworth and Southpoint. 10 years and counting! read more

We have been going to this office since my boys were babies ! Everyone is so kind and caring! I really love this office ! Dr. Lash is my boys Dr. We have seen most the doctors in this office and we love them all!! Dr. Bosworth was my oldest first Dr. And I don't think we meshed well When I asked for another Dr. There were questions asked and no judgement! I absolutely love this office in West Jordan I will never take my boys anywhere else! Alison has been my boys favorite there for so long she has really helped my boys especially my oldest with his anxiety ! She is amazing ! Also a shout out to the nurse practitioner Steve!! We seriously love using Southpoint Pediatrics for our children. We have a primary care physician, but we have also seen other doctors and nurses for sick visits, broken bones, and weight checks and they have all been great. They even have a lactation specialist on site to help with breastfeeding issues. The providers here are nice, prompt, and really listen to our concerns. They have extended hours at night and are also open for periods of time on the weekends which have really helped us get the necessary care for our kids. The people at the front desk are so nice and happy, and always make us and our girls feel welcome and special. The rooms are decorated so cute and appeal to kids to help them feel safe. I wouldn't ever take our girls anywhere else! read more

Dr. Buchanan has been our primary care physician since my son was first born 14 years ago and I absolutely love him!! He is always friendly and very thorough if we have questions/concerns! When we had my preemie daughter, he took special care to make sure she was taken care of and when she was diagnosed with Periventricular Leukomalacia and then Cerebral Palsy, he helped us to understand her diagnosis and what we could expect. In the years we've been here, we've seen almost every doctor/Nurse Practitioner (if not every doctor) and have loved them all! They are always so helpful and Caring and put my kids at ease!! I love this office and Dr. Packer is absolutely the best! We have 3 children (one that is special needs) that are seen by her and have had nothing but incredible service from her and her nurses. She takes the time to listen to ALL our concerns and addresses each one of them with whatever time it takes. She continues to follow up and checks on our kids after the appointment and ensures they are thriving! Dr. Packer has been a huge asset to the well being of our children! I have been going to Southpoint Pediatrics since my 14yo was born. I have seen all the Drs at any given time if mine was not available for sick visits. I can honestly say this is the best clinic and group of people ever. They are always going above and beyond to help. My regular Dr is Kevin Lash and well we just love him. He goes beyond the physical aspects of taking care of my girls, he asks them about interests and shares his knowledge with them and has been such a great doctor. He goes above and beyond to help us. The wait time is great and they are amazing at helping us over the phone when the kids are sick. read more

We have recently switched over to this practice, seeing Dr Lash per a a very detailed reference. And we are so glad we did! They're easy to get into. Staff is friendly. But the doctor himself is who I'm impressed with. He takes his time with each client. My first appointment with him, he zoned in on my daughter and asked questions related to an issue we've secretly been battling with without me saying anything to him. We have been going to South Point Pediatrics for over 7 years now! We have seen many of the doctors and nurses and always have a great experience. We never feel rushed and the nurses are great to help over the phone when we have a quick question. We primarily see Dr. Brian Buchanan and love him! He is so great with my children and always takes his time to answer all of my questions. The environment is beautiful and always clean. The kids also love the fun decorated rooms. We love this practice!!! Dr. Buchanan is my kids pediatrician and he is amazing!!! I leave every appointment thinking (and then telling my husband all day) what a nice man he is. I've had nothing but positive experiences at this office. We love Dr. Bosworth--he's cool and relaxed, but professional, knowledgeable, and great with my kids. The office staff has always been nice and efficient, even if they were busy. And, I've only had a long wait once, and when I did they kept me posted and were apologetic. Staff is always friendly and helpful. When I have called with a question the nurse is quick to return my call. My kids have seen multiple doctors (when our main doctor isn't in) and they have been professional and listen to their needs/concerns. We started going here after my second was born and my favorite was the "well baby" room. We began seeing Dr. Darin Bosworth 7-8 years ago. We have since moved up to northern Davis county and STILL drive to Southpoint Pediatrics. They are the best. Great front desk staff, fantastic MA line for quick answers, and out of this world Dr's. My kids love seeing Dr Bosworth because he talks to them, without taking down to them. Southpointe Pediatrics has everything you need at their clinic! They have same day appointments for sick visits. They have a variety of doctors and NPs that are all excellent to see. I have been going here for over 14 years, and even though we moved away from West Jordan, I still make the drive out to their clinic. We split between seeing Dr. Bosworth and Dr. Ellis at this location, and both have been incredible providers! Today we learned that Southpoint Wasatch Pediatrics is one of the only pediatric offices in the community which has O.R. grade filtration and room pressurization (positive pressure) which reduces the risk of COVID-19 spread.
