The positives: food was prepared quickly, steak was tender and portion is very generous. The negatives: super fatty ribeye steak (see photos), bland as hell...had literally zero flavor. First time at the Wasabi Express. I have read a lot of local good reviews so I thought I would check it out as s quick go to. It's in the neighborhood so what the heck. The restaurant is clean, sparse, and quick. I would love to see counter or high top table service. My husband and I both ordered the hibachi to go, one shrimp and one salmon and the Fairview Roll. The food was hot, but a little too overcooked, the veggies were too soft and soggy. Don't get me wrong, the portions were HUGE, but with a quick service my concern is food sits for a quick reheat. Did I mention they offer WiFi, Apple Pay and delivery. This won't be the last time, I look forward to trying it again. read more

This place is amazing. They literally gave me enough food for like 5 days. The price for the portion size is crazy!! So much cheaper than other similar places and honestly it was better. I got the chicken teriyaki with noodles. The food tasted incredibly fresh the chicken was all well seasoned white meat. The teriyaki sauce is perfect. I'd recommend extra veggies if you like a lot there was definitely a good amount but most of the bulk was chicken and noodles. Now that I know I don't have to fear not getting enough noodles I will get half fried rice half noodles next time I also want to try the steak it looks great. I think they make their own ginger sauce as well tasted house made. The tempura shrimp were crispy and delicious. The crab rangoons were also really good but I wish they came with sweet and sour which is my only very minor complaint. Still 5 stars this meal was delicious and affordable. I saw so many great reviews that I had to find a way to give this place a try. I think what I thought it was going to be versus what it was was off. I got two sushi dishes -- one decked out sushi and a cali roll. As well I got chicken hibachi and my sis got orange chicken. Sis says orange chicken was good, so that's great but for me, not so much. The chicken was very dry, to the point that I didn't want to eat the half of the dish. I felt the cali roll was great but the decked out roll has way too much sauce. read more

Very reasonably priced, and they fill a standard sized Styrofoam container with literally as much food as they can. The chicken is white meat, and although I didn't try it, the shrimp looked pretty decent. Food is made to order' and they are happy to customize it if you want it spicier or want to subtract something. They didn't nickel and dime me over condiments and gave me large sides of what seemed like ginger soy dipping sauce (delicious) and a wasabi mustard mayo sauce. After reading the reviews we finally tried this place. I had hibachi steak with lo mein and my son had California roll. My son loved the sushi and my lo mein was decent. The portions are huge and the service was very good. I would have given another star but the ordering / carry out area is not very clean.. you can barely see through the plexiglass barrier that separates the food prep area from the carry out area and the floor is so sticky that my shoes were literally sticking to the floor. I know that they do a great business because every time I drive by there always very busy. Today when we were there they were also very busy. With that being said it would be nice to see a little more effort on keeping the place clean. read more
