We had just bought a house and were looking for a good general contractor in Bakersfield. We were lucky to end up with Joel and his team. Joel brought a full crew of specialists to make sure the job was done right the first time. He came recommended by our Air and Heat guy and he took my call on the second ring. He was at his father's 80th birthday party but he still made sure I got the immediate help we needed. Joel followed up a few days later. After reaching out to me, he showed up with his aforementioned crew to handle some additional repairs that were needed. I felt like I was watching a home repair TV show! Each guy split up in a different direction and immediately got to work. By the end of the day, we were shaking hands in the driveway. Darrah Construction was more than just an affordable construction company in Bakersfield. The quality of the work done showed me that it is also owned by one of the best general contractors in Bakersfield. He was friendly and fair, as well as honest, prompt and diligent in his work and that of his team. Thanks, Joel (and Brian, Jason, Mike, and the others in the crew)! You have a new loyal client!
