First brewery I have been to where dogs are not allowed. Very odd for a place with as much out door seating as this one.

Pull up to Alga Beer Company in Pensacola and the first thing you see is that big "Welcome to…read morePensacola, Florida" sign out front like the place is personally inviting you in for a cold one. This joint's got that easy Gulf Coast attitude: flip-flops, shorts, sunglasses on your head, and nobody judging how loud your table gets after the second round. The beer's solid, the lunch hits the spot, and the prices won't punch your wallet in the face. Clean place, good service, and the kind of casual hangout where you can roll in with a couple buddies and make an afternoon of it. And the vibe? Lemme tell ya... it's the kind of place where one guy orders a flight and suddenly everybody's doing "research." Next thing you know someone's yelling, "Hey bartender, this one tastes like vacation!" and another guy's arguing with a taco like it owes him money. Good brews, good food, good prices BOOM that's the whole deal. Bring some friends, get a little loud, laugh too hard, and enjoy Pensacola the way it's meant to be enjoyed: cold beer in your hand and nowhere important to be.

Thoughtfully brewed beers with lower abv, focus on flavor and variety. Brown Bagger Food Truck is delicious and I highly recommend the Parmesan Truffle Fries.

My daughter and I went to Emerald Republic for their free Bar Bingo. We shared a delicious and…read morevery reasonably priced pizza (especially for a food truck). A 14" Pizza is just $13 and each topping is $1 more. They make "beer shrooms" (that they sauté with Emerald Republic beer... and are so yummy) as a topping, and they were phenomenal! We got pepperoni, beer shrooms, roasted red peppers, and roasted garlic. The roasted garlic was a little pungent for my taste, but it was still very good. The service was amazing! Olivia was our bartender, and she was soooo friendly and welcoming. She was very knowledgeable about the beers and made us feel at home. As for the beers... we just LOVED their There & Back Again Hefeweizen & the award winning Gozen Cherry Sour. Both were perfectly poured, cold, fresh and crisp! They also offer a full bar if beer isn't your thing. This place is very clean, with a cool decor, and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They do lots of specials (including a Taylor Swift themed Galentine's Day coming up on 2/13/25). The people are so nice, so come out and support them in a super chill atmosphere!

https://emeraldrepublicbrewing.com/…read more If your in the Pensacola, FL area and want a drink that is locally brewed on site then this is a awesome place to stop. The drinks are great and the food truck out front "A Rustyc Spoon" has some good meal options. The price is a bit high for the portions but it's a food truck and typically that's how it goes when you order from a truck. I do suggest going and getting a drink above all you won't regret it. Tell them "Phatt Panda- 1/2 Time" sent you. It won't get you anything but at least it will let them know you found them from a review on yelp!

I'm a creature of habit and always get a reuben at places like this in an attempt to find the best one in town and so far this is still my leader. The meat and toppings are stacked, it's perfectly toasty without being too hard and it's just a good bite. 8/10. The fried okra was good, standard fare, nothing exciting or innovative but delicious no complaints. 8/10. The appetizer sampler didn't look like much when it came out but it was more than enough for the two of us. I can't speak to the mushrooms but she seemed to really enjoy them and the accompanying horseradish sauce was incredible. The pickles and corn nuggets were very yummy and were perfectly cooked. No complaints! Oh and the ranch is pretty good too. Overall 7/10. Our food did come before our appetizer but that's okay we couldn't have been bothered by that we planned to eat it all together at the same time anyway, but it is worth noting just in case that's a concern for someone. We both impulsively got bushwackers, and honestly I wasn't expecting much because it was 5:00 p.m. on a Tuesday and they were seven bucks but they were yummy and had a strong pour. We really enjoyed the. 9/10. The two employees that we interacted with were nice but not over the top. Our waitress kind of just left us alone and that suited us just fine. All in all we had a great afternoon catching up, enjoyed our food, enjoyed our drink and pet everyone's dogs. You just really can't complain about that! Oh and the bathroom was nice and clean and well stocked.
