He repaired several cracked ceiling cornices and also repaired the lounge room gyprock wall that once had a box-type air conditioner. He professionally painted all gyprock and cornices. Brad was very accommodating to also paint the roof gable and finial of my parents house. Brad also repaired a damage gyprock wall in my garage, he also painted my roof gable and replaced my roof finial. My special thanks to Brad for his expertise and professionalism, as both my house and my parents house are now restored to its former glory. Brad's excellent workmanship is a true reflection of his passion for his trade. To top it all, his excellent customer service has made it so easy and very pleasing to deal with him. He turned up on time, every time as promised. I have no hesitations in recommending Brad and would definitely be calling him again for my future renovations.

I got a quote, price was OK (average) and booked in to come in today (17/11/2015). He turned up and but refused to do the job because there was some furniture in the room and walked out. The furniture could be removed out of the room in less than 15 minutes (or less). Not professional and would not trust him.

On Tuesday I contacted John and he said there would be $360 for the come out and ininital inspection. The invoice was not received on Wednesday so I called him on Thursday to chase up. He eventually sent the invoice at the end of the day and I paid for it. I am serious about the inspection and I am not after free lunch. I also double confirmed with him that he would come between 12 and 2pm as I have other schedule afterwards. On Friday 12:40 he texted me saying stuck with work and 1 hr away, asking if still ok. I called back and found out it was impossible for him to make it even I waited till 2:30pm. He offered to come "first thing tomorrow". I agreed. On Saturday, instead of 9am he promised, he texted at 8:50 saying 10am. Yet at 10:15 still no sign of him. I rang him and literally asked where he was. To my surprise he took a huge deal of if and blamed me to be rude. I pointed out that it was even more rude and unacceptable to be late for the appointment, twice in a row, and when the customer paid $360 for it. He then became defensive and used excuses such as family issue, "we are not machine" blah blah blah. He clearly doesn't care that the customer also has family, and has wasted time simply because he didn't show up. If a business constantly doesn't keep their time promise is bad enough to avoid dealing with, then combined with a terrible attitude is worth alerting others.

These guys were competent in that they could work on-site unsupervised during the entire job, and the work was excellent. Not only were all 200 piles dead-plumb vertical, they finished inside the scheduled period of works. They were professional in the manner that they dealt with all personnel on-site including the architect, certifier, engineers and other contractors. Finally, they were responsive to the unforeseen challenges that arose during the project, co-developing solutions with the engineer. We have used them several times since, and they have never failed to impress. I have no hesitation in recommending LC Civil for any hand-piling, shoring and underpinning jobs.

We were hopeful that the Easy-Fall System would solve our overflowing and blocking gutter issues…read moreand it appears to have done both! We had a problem with the previous gutters backing up and overflowing through the eaves in places during heavy rains. Whilst we haven't had heavy rain yet, the moderate rain is flowing nicely through the gutters and through to stormwater. We also have significant leaf problems through trees in the park next door and the leaf guards are working very well with little leaf build-up. Additionally, Paul and Marty have been excellent with customer service and follow-up through the process. The guttering was delivered within the timeframe specified and the installers did a very good job. The finished look complements the house nicely and I would highly recommend the company and system.

He accepted responsibility for the delay, explained how he had injured his back, and informed us that he had implemented new document/customer management systems which would improve his professionalism. Our details are now in the system and we are under 7-year warranty. He also issued us with an itemised invoice and a note that it had been fully paid. We are just relieved to have our roof fixed and hopefully our insurance claim can now be finalised. I am leaving a modified version of this review here for future reference. *** In April we hired Brendan to complete maintenance work on our roof which was requested by our insurer. Specifically we asked Brendan to complete three (3) tasks. When he came, he suggested pressure cleaning our roof before doing the maintenance work. After completing the pressure clean, Brendan said everything looked fine and he would come back after the next heavy rain to make sure there were no further leakages. There were indeed more leakages. Our insurer inspected the roof and said that the 3 tasks hadn't been completed, so they couldn't finalise our insurance claim. Over the next 3 months (from April to July) we contacted Brendan almost every week, but he either didn't show up or gave us a reason why he couldn't come. We were sympathetic to his reasons but as the situation dragged on, it became extremely stressful for us. After another no-show on 17/07/2021, we gave up contacting Brendan and sought other avenues of redress. On 13/08/2021 I submitted the previous version of this review.
