Since posting this review Brendan contacted us on 25/08/2021. He came back and completed the roofing work on 26/08/2021, at the scheduled time. He accepted responsibility for the delay, explained how he had injured his back, and informed us that he had implemented new document/customer management systems which would improve his professionalism. Our details are now in the system and we are under 7-year warranty. He also issued us with an itemised invoice and a note that it had been fully paid. We are just relieved to have our roof fixed and hopefully our insurance claim can now be finalised.

In April we hired Brendan to complete maintenance work on our roof which was requested by our insurer. Specifically we asked Brendan to complete three (3) tasks. When he came, he suggested pressure cleaning our roof before doing the maintenance work. After completing the pressure clean, Brendan said everything looked fine and he would come back after the next heavy rain to make sure there were no further leakages.
There were indeed more leakages. Our insurer inspected the roof and said that the 3 tasks hadn't been completed, so they couldn't finalise our insurance claim. Over the next 3 months (from April to July) we contacted Brendan almost every week, but he either didn't show up or gave us a reason why he couldn't come. We were sympathetic to his reasons but as the situation dragged on, it became extremely stressful for us. After another no-show on 17/07/2021, we gave up contacting Brendan and sought other avenues of redress.
