We rented a villa cabin after Labor Day, which meant there was plenty available. The cabin itself was perfectly sized for our crew of 8 adults. It was clean and even though we had brought a bunch of kitchen utensils, we really didn't need to because the place was already well stocked! We spent the last hot day of the summer next to the rectangle pool and got to eat at the restaurant on Saturday. All around, it was a perfect trip. The staff were attentive and friendly and the park is taken care of. I'm so happy to see this place is still around, I hope for years to come so I can bring my own kids here. Thanks, Jellystone!!

Disappointing Experience: Not the Quality We Expected I am…read morewriting this review because my family has been coming to Jellystone for years, and this is the first time I have ever felt the need to lodge a formal complaint. Unfortunately, our recent stay was so disappointing that I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this location to others. We didn't have many issues at our cabin. We did find various pieces of garbage around the yard, and there was visible black mold in our shower. We are used to this at Jellystone and overlook it as we are camping and "roughing it". The pool area was in a concerning state. The wave pool was completely non-functional. When we inquired, we were told the pump was broken and they were waiting on parts. The lazy river, which is connected to the wave pool, was extremely slow and dirty, leading us to wonder if the circulation issues were due to the broken pump--and, more importantly, whether the water was actually safe to be in. To make matters worse, the adjacent splash pad was so filthy that my children initially thought it was closed for the season. The most frustrating part of our trip, however, was the golf cart rental. We paid $85 a day, but the cart was essentially unusable for most of our stay. Despite plugging it in carefully overnight, the battery light was flashing on our drive to the pool the next morning. We plugged it in at the pool, but the light was flashing again shortly after we started riding around the park later, forcing us to cut our ride short. The issue persisted throughout our stay. Even after charging it again and attempting to use it, the battery light would come on immediately. We ended up having to push the cart up a hill to get it back to our cabin. When we turned the cart in, we asked for a partial refund due to our inability to use the service we paid for. The front desk staff suggested we were likely having electrical issues at our cabin, yet they refused to provide any refund. They claimed we should have called an after-hours line, which we were unaware of. When I mentioned our history as long-time guests, a rude man with gauges in his ears dismissively said, "You've stayed here many times and didn't know to call the courtesy line? Buh-bye." We have always enjoyed our past visits, but the lack of basic maintenance and the patronizing, unhelpful customer service we received this time are unacceptable. Do better, Jellystone.

I do recommend bringing all of your food necessary for your stay because the cabin's are extremely secluded. Any businesses are about 20-30 min away and even then, what IS there is extremely limited. Plenty of room for a large group to spread out but the house also provides real coziness that makes it feel like a (very cool) home away from home. Our group loved shooting pool, feeding the jukebox, playing pinball, and taking turns at the one-armed bandit all while enjoying a roaring fire near the full-sized, classic wooden bar. the hot tub was truly awesome and large enough for us all to enjoy and we also loved taking advantage of the huge dining room to play games or the super comfy den area to hang out and watch movies. We loved the layout of the upstairs bedrooms giving everyone privacy but also being near each with a vintage hotel vibe. I couldn't get over the wrap-around balcony shared by all the bedrooms...loved it... so many details big and small that truly make this place an original. Seeing as it was early January we couldn't truly appreciate the huge yard with its many statues and sculptures (and a vintage phone booth that works) as well as the close proximity to the water, but I hope we can stay again when it's warm to take it all in during the peak season. The host and his assistant are super attentive and very responsive. It's clear they put a lot of time and planning into trying to give everyone the best experience possible. My only regret is that we didn't bring more people with us to share this treasure! I highly recommend.

Adam the Vice President said : the company will do nothing about it, without explination and denies even doing this. WE KNOW BETTER ADAM. Many have come forward with the same story. So, BEWARE. Very open concept made it that much more enjoyable and user friendly. We got some snow Friday night which made us all a little late getting there, but was so nice once we made it. Then, Saturday morning I shoveled off a section of the deck. At about 10:00a.m. the owner comes by and shovels the complete deck, porch landing, stairs, and walkways. I was impressed by this as I didn't expect to see anyone all weekend. He stopped by several times to check/change the outside trash as well and he did this without bothering us in any way. I highly recommend this place for any large group who wants a realistically priced place to spend the night.
