Incredible show! The magicians are hilarious and amazing at what they do! The theater is small and it is true; they do sell out every night. FYI: the theater is very cold so bring a jacket!! I had a light jacket and still kind was shivering so plan accordingly. The dinner was good, however, due to us being a large group we were sat in an area with only coffee tables offered rather than actual tables like the smaller, more intimate tables. It was hard to have all the drinks as well as our plates on the table so we had to keep our dinner plates in our laps. For the pride it seems kind of silly to do so and we did end up dropping a plate because of such limited space. Our server Spencer was very kind to us and understanding of our dietary restrictions. You can substitute items out if you need to - for example: we swapped out the two fish items for the ravioli. You do have to notify them asap IF YOURE DOING THE COMBO PLATE - as the meal is being prepped once you arrive. Overall a really awesome night activity and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. read more

The island is full of activities, but Warren and Annabelle's is one of the few shows to catch when visiting Maui. Typically you need reservations way in advance to get a seat, but we just happen to visit Maui during huge rain storms that flooded and closed most of the lower streets. Many from Kehei cancelled, and thus just hours before the early performance we were able to get tickets! We were also coming from Kehei but waited until the intersection of South and North Kehei Avenue reverted from a river back to a street and zoomed through. The venue is ideal for a small audience (70+) and the acts try to get many involved. Even the seats on high chairs in the very back are good (maybe the best) seats. The building is worth a tour and is filled with red velvet and antique decor and is unique for Maui. Performers (5 Stars) - The show features two headlining magicians that combine magic, comedy, and audience participation. The small room allows you to see close up the slight of hand and illusions that are used making everything more impressive. Our night had John Shyrock and Chris Blackmore who were both highly energetic and entertaining. Plus, their magic tricks were often mind boggling. Value (4 Stars) - About $92 for the show only or $150 for the show and appetizers and desserts. Best Part (5 Stars) - No swearing or vulgar language, which is hard to find these days. To be honest I wasn't expecting to really like this. But it was great. We had a wonderful time. The speakeasy setting in the beginning is lovely and however I don't recommend their old fashion. Sorry to say. I heard the blueberry lemon martini was amazing! The show was fabulous we had such a great time some jokes are corny but that's the fun in it. And they are designed that way. This is a full and expensive evening of entertainment ( some of the time) I think there are much better ways to spend your time and money and certainly much better food to be had on Maui. For starters, its all inside - why do this to yourself in paradise)? The menu was just bad, lukewarm, bland, very low quality food. The sampler platter had a bready microwaved small crab cake with perhaps an essence of crab, no sauce, aoili, nothing , plain dry soggy fish bread. There were two cold bland chicken satay skewers with two small bites of chicken and two pieces of pineapple on each. Two small wedges of kalua pork quesadilla. This was inedible mushy flavorless " meat" b/n soggy tortillas. The two pieces of prepackaged coconut shrimp were ok, Everything seemed to be cheap pre packed previously frozen cash and carry bargain food. Next dessert. Someone does not understand how to make a custard for their creme brulee. This was mealy . Wrong texture . The drink selection was weird. Ice cream drinks and then sour drinks, all heavy on the sugar and sour mix. but there is beer and wine. The show was a not so impressive series of repetitively making things appear and reappear from various places mixed with guessing cards and numbers with the help obvious plants that they used repeatedly to provide the " random " card , number or word they needed. Thats about it. Hours of the same mixed with witty comedy. As for Annabelle, apparently she no longer works there , so there was no dining entertainment , no live music. No " ghosts". Please save your hard earned money and get a spot at a great restaurant with a well deserved reputation on the shore. read more

Isn't it hokey? It's sort of pricy--is it worth it? YES IT IS. That's it. That's the review. Well...I guess I could say a *little* more. Going into the evening, I didn't know much about the experience, and it was way more fun that way--so let me just say this: you'll have to use your noodle a little to get into the exclusive bar prior to the show, and you just might meet a ghost! (It might also be a little tricky to actually find the nightclub itself--it's not very well-marked, so keep your eyes peeled for the small sign on your left as you first start down Front Street.) Once inside the bar, which is designed to resemble an old-fashioned parlor, you'll have a chance to grab a drink, snack, or dessert. While I didn't eat or drink prior to the show, I can confirm that it smelled delicious in the room, and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. (A warning--there are fewer tables than there are conversation areas with a central coffee table. This isn't a place to eat dinner, it's for snacking! Don't expect a full prime rib dinner OR a table where you could cut into it even if you got one.) But really I'm here to talk about the show, and the show was...amazing. Phenomenal. Mind-blowing. And, most importantly, HILARIOUS. Some context: I've always loved magicians and magic shows, but I haven't seen many in person, the last being David Copperfield at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Well, let me say this: each of the two magicians I had the pleasure of watching (John George and Dana Daniels) far surpassed David Copperfield in terms of not only personality/stage presence but also "wow factor". While big-ticket magicians like Copperfield rely on technology and animatronics in their performances, the good folks at Warren and Annabelle's are doing "REAL magic" right before your eyes with no pre-planned audience interaction. I know, because I was a participant chosen completely at random to participate in a trick that completely blew my mind. Over the two hours of performances, I saw tables float, things disappear and reappear, and predictions come true--and it's a wonder I could see any of it, because the entire time I was laughing so hard tears were literally rolling down my face. These magicians aren't just well-versed in the art of illusion. They are also incredibly skilled comedians that can make anyone laugh--such as myself, who generally abhors and avoids anything marketed as "comedy". And, to my delight, this comedy was SQUEAKY CLEAN. Not a curse word, innuendo, or anything else. They kept it classy! Somehow my show buddy and myself got prime seats (front middle) for no apparent reason, other than the kindness of the management, which tickled me even more! Every one of the staff members with whom we interacted were warm, welcoming, and pretty funny themselves, so that was a big bonus. After the show, John and Dana visited with audience members in the parlor and posed for pictures...when I posted the one I got on Instagram and tagged the magicians, John George very kindly responded to my post and we had a delightful back-and-forth conversation via social media. In short, this is the real deal. These aren't your average, run-of-the-mill magicians. They aren't your big-name, über-famous magicians. They're better. These are trained illusionists with massive resumes consisting of work at Disney and performances on AGT; they're born entertainers at the top of their game who deliver fantastic entertainment and truly care about every member of their audience...except for those at whom they might poke fun, of course ;) I said it before, and now I'm saying it again: GO TO WARREN AND ANNABLLE'S AND PREPARE TO BE AMAZED. I was invited here by a friend who told me it was his 17th time and that I would not be disappointed... My bar was set high as he had shared past experiences.. I came in not expecting dinner, which was good... deserts were the best! Crème brûlée was amazing, mouth watering just thinking about it.. raspberry chocolate cheesecake... delicious... Then we were escorted to the theater and guided to our seats. Our first entertainer was John George... I laughed the entire performance! He was captivating, joked with the hecklers and was quick in the responses to those in the crowd. His magic tricks were some I have not ever seen before and we were laughing so hard we had tears streaming.. the entire audience was the same. The next entertainer mixed a few of his jokes with what John George had and it brought the laughter right back. This show sells out every night (the early one) so get tickets a week before you arrive. In hindsight we should have gotten tickets earlier and eaten there. The food looked delicious. We got dessert. The later show was a bit too late for us. We were fighting off sleep but Warren kept us laughing. It's incredibly hard to perform for 2 hours straight but he did it effortlessly. Despite being sleepy and cold we had a great time. Great family activity, clean show and well done. His wife really knows how to work a room and was genuine and friendly. Fantastic from start to finish! Highly recommended to anyone. Warren is not only HILARIOUS but he is an absolutely incredible magician. There were some tricks that blew our minds ... If you're interested: Here's how the whole event works ... Presuming the full Monty ticket ... After you locate the place (it's right on Front Street diagonal from Bubba Gumps & right next to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse - the gps is confusing) walk up the stairs, presumably sometime before 8 p.m. (they say 7:30, but if you check-in by 8 pm, you're fine and can still enjoy the pre-show experience). Check-in: Give them your name and ID. You are given your paperwork and two playing cards each (for drinks). You're taken to a room with a small group of other attendees (kind of like the pre-Haunted Mansion ride experience at Disney, only smaller), where you have to gain access to Annabel's parlor. They make this fun, by giving someone in the group a key & you all have to try several doors to see if you can get into the main parlor. Once in the main parlor/lounge you're greeted by someone who acclimates your group (basically whoever arrived at the same time with you) & they send you off to separate tables based on your party size. My husband and I had a lovely, intimate 2-top of comfy armchairs in a corner with the perfect view of Annabelle's piano. Seating is intimate and comfortable - nice lounge versus a typical pre-show dinner area feeling. We started with a cocktail. The Full Package is two cocktails each, the appetizer combo each (which serves as dinner [it' s HUGE]), good choice of desserts (Creme brûlée, key lime pie, pot de creme, cheesecake, apple pie, etc.), and the show (AND gratuity!!). Waitstaff is great: Very efficient about getting the food out, bussing tables & ensuring you always have drinks. Food: Nice pork & salsa mixture wrapped in a tomato tortilla, crab cake, two chicken breast skewers of teriyaki-style pineapple & chicken chunks grilled over lightly dressed mixed greens, and two fat coconut shrimp. Nothing super-healthy but deliciously indulgent, and tasty, nonetheless. Walk around Lahaina before or after and you'll forgive yourself (LOL). The desserts we ordered (key lime pie and creme brûlée) were fabulous! My lychee martini was outstanding and my husband had the blueberry lemon martini which was also great. Good drinks, NOT watered down. At some point they introduce the ghost Annabel, who "plays" music. It's cute, because people were shouting out different names of songs and the songs were immediately played (player piano). We obviously know someone was behind the scenes making this all work - but it was pretty impressive, because it was lightening fast and the piano music was really fantastic. Just before 9:30 they encourage you to use the restroom (VERY nice restrooms by the way, clean/classy; if you're male my husband recommends the center urinal in the men's room LMAO [yes, there's a good reason]) - because the show is 2-hours and you DO NOT want to get up during it. Everyone is ushered into the 80-ish seat auditorium: not a bad seat in the house (&, yes, you can continue to order drinks). The show is absolutely, fabulously entertaining & HILARIOUS. I am sure my cheeks with hurt later. Warren is an expert magician. I think many of us were stunned by the level of magic. He did an amazing trick with men's wedding rings, including my own husband's, where he connected the rings together and yes, mind blown. His slight of hand tricks were incredible; no idea how he did some of the things he did (call me naive or the perfect audience). Highly, highly recommended. Everyone was literally belly-laughing. His comebacks were SO quick, he won't miss an opportunity to interact and really have fun with you. Don't succumb to the idiotic Yelp reviews with anything negative - the humor is all in good fun, and just adds to the personal-interactive feeling of the show (he interacts with at least half the audience) - this country has become overly sensitive these days. Wow!! This has been a highlight of my trip to Maui. I thought this would be a fun little outing and instead it was delicious and far more entertaining then I thought it would be. I had to buy tickets days in advance due to it's popularity. When your arrive you will be whisked away into a old time themed bar. They have a small food menu but it's well executed. I recommend getting at least one order of ravioli. The drinks were surprisingly good too. The seating is not your typical restaurant seating so be prepared to hold your plate on your lap. You will likely be seated with strangers if you are a party of 2. I loved that we got to mingle with other people prior to the show! During the show you will have an opportunity to get a drink. The show was killer!! It's family friendly but they will slay any hecklers in the audience. Unfortunately we had some mouthy plastic girls during our show but they got silenced by John George real quick. Overall I can't speak highly enough of Warren and Annabelle's. Had a spectacular first time here at the late show on Friday night! We enjoyed the Royal Flush package and arrived to check in at 7:30. After a short wait to check-in, we were sent into a room with a small group to solve a puzzle & land in Annabelle's lounge. Loved the vibe here and wish we could enjoy it evenings we weren't attending the show! Our server Kaitlyn was warm and took great care of us. My boyfriend and I were each served our own spread of appetizers - satay chicken skewers, kalua pork rolls, crab cakes & shrimp. I am not the biggest fan of seafood and was given the option to opt just for the skewers and rolls. Super filling! Our night included a couple playing cards - acting as drink tickets - and I redeemed for the Lychee Martini (delish - recommended). I finished off with the Chocolate Pots de Creme which was rich and lovely. Onto the show! We saw the talented and hilarious John Shyrlock and Chris Blackmore. Both had us laughing hysterically and in awe throughout the entire 2 hour set. I wasn't expecting both magicians to be as impressive as they were! Card, cups, rope, balls -- you name it, they were blowing your mind with it. This will be a must for any visitors who come into town. This show was amazing and worth every penny. My wife and I were lucky enough to see Chris Blackmore on stage and the show is 60% hilarious comedy, 35% amazing magic, and 5% magic that I learned when I was a kid (which brought back some memories). The location itself is composed of a high class lounge in which you can meet and greet your fellow audience members during dinner before being ushered into a relatively intimate theater. We were seated in the last row and was able to see and hear everything clearly. The establishment and the magician clearly have a good relationship and Chris Blackmore's love for performing shined through, made the evening special. He also shook the hand of each and every one of the audience members as they were leaving, sealing the deal for me :) Cannot recommend enough! read more

I really didn't expect the show to be as good as it was. This place could easily stand alone in Vegas with all the other competition. Upon entry through the secret door, you are lead to a large lounge where you can have dinner and drinks. It reminds me of a 1950s setting with the way everything is set up. The ghost of Annabelle will play the piano and there are little secret surprises as well (e.g. you might see a ghost in the bathroom :o). A couple of weeks ago, we had a wonderful week long vacation with a group of friends in Maui. When a couple in our group told us about a magic show they attended on a previous trip and suggested we all go, I thought, "oh, how quaint. A magic show in Maui...umm, sure we'll go. Why not?" I didn't know what to expect. Would it be the local Amazing Timmy that studied magic in his spare time and always wanted to perform and yet didn't practice enough? Would it be like GOB Bluth from "Arrested Development"? Would it be David Copperfield level magic? The actuality was a pleasant surprise. I'm from Los Angeles and there's a special place there called the Magic Castle. It's an old Victorian mansion that houses a bar and restaurant and also plays host to some of the most talented magicians in the country (maybe even the world). Warren and Annabelle's delivers on that same level of magical talent. They also tip their black top hat to the Castle. I was pleasantly surprised when we were greeted with a mysterious portal into the club. Once inside, we saw spirts all around us. We entered the bar. We had some deliciously inventive cocktails while we waited for the show to begin. Once inside the theater and the show started, we were dazzled by the first act--John George. He was fantastic--and funny! The theater is fairly small (I'm guessing about 70-80 seats or so). The stage was basically a long table that he performed from that was close enough to see him work his slight of hand prowess. I won't spoil anything, but I know a little about how magic can work and I was still blown away--especially because we were so close to him. We had a friend with us that has a very distinctive and prominent laugh. He had her laughing so much that he worked it into the show. Next up was Dana Daniels. He was hysterical. His brand of magic and comedy was brilliant. Once again our friend laughed so much that it captured Dana's attention and he had fun with it--as we all did. Again, being so close to the action, I thought I'd be able to spot the "trick,' but Dana was so good that I couldn't catch him. So I was pleasantly surprised that our Hawaiian magic show experience well exceeded my expectations. Our friends planned this well in advance because they sell out quickly and I hear that they are sold out nightly. It just can't get any better than this. If you're going to see one show then this should be it. The food is delicious and I highly suggest you get the worry free Royal Flush package which includes 2 alcoholic drinks (or non-alcoholic if you don't drink), a sampler plate of appetizers and gratuities. Don't let that scare ya off tho, it's more than plenty of food for a meal. As the audience changed every night, so does the show since it's very interactive with the audience. Warren is hilarious with kind of a corny sense of humor, I love it. You can watch his hands all you want but I have to tell ya, it won't do you any good lol. Warren is very funny. His show is MUST SEE if you are in Maui. He's a magician and comedian. It's clean humor too which was fantastic. We'd go back again if we have the chance. Can i give this place more than 5 stars? This is definitely a MUST to go to when visiting Maui. Food and drinks were exquisite. I definitely recommend getting the royal flush package as it definitely keeps you full for the two hour show and keeps you hydrated. If you arent a seafood fan, dont worry. My wife and I attended this show on 5/18 and I would say it was one of the most enjoyable things we did during our stay on the island. There were two magicians who were masters at their craft and kept me, and the rest of the audience in stitches all night. The pre-show food was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. I highly recommend taking in this show. I have been there a couple times. I am a magician and was impressed with the magicians performing. Clean comedy and excellent magic. A true bargain in Maui for class A live entertainment. In addition the food is good, and price represents great value. I will go again next visit!
