He has been living in Atlanta, Georgia for 5 years without any family members close by so we have a practice of checking in daily via text or FaceTime. After no one had heard from him in three days and his cell phone was going to voice mail I was concerned. I received a call from him on the third day and he informed me he was in jail and needed to be bonded out. Television show you post bail and you're out. This is not true. After a full day and night of trying to get Fulton County Sheriff office on the telephone I was advised I needed to work with a bail bonds company and gave me a web site which I found 19 bail bonds companies. THIS IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING. BECAUSE I LIVE IN ILLINOIS THE FEW COMPANIES ON THE LIST THAT BOTHERED TO ANSWER THE PHONE (I don't do viocemail) refused to help me because ILLINOIS doesn't recognize bail bonds practice. My grandson's uncle lives in Indiana he spoke with several companies on the list and was advised he would need debit card plus more information than you would need if you were financing a house. Not a great business model as I was quoted $150 over the phone vs. the $350 that I was charged. I would NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Typical Bait and Switch. UPDATE AS OF 2pm EST: thank you for the phone call and showing your lack of professionalism to the entire Google world with your written response. Yes, I own 3 business, but that has NOTHING to do with my experience as a customer with your company. Let's recap the most recent event: you gave me a call, presumably with the intention to get me to change my review. After I explained my dissatisfaction, offered a suggestion to a new business model, and told you that I WOULD NOT change my review... you response to me was "oh so I see you're THAT kind of guy?!" So what exactly does that mean sir? And is this how you treat ALL of your customers or just select ones who do not agree to give you 5 stars when it is NOT warranted? I hope ANYONE who sees this review will go with an alternate company because you, sir, do NOT take constructive criticism well. Oh, and I've recorded our conversation so if anyone would like to reach out to me for validation of his rude behavior please feel free to contact me.
