OK, up front: the cafe (at the tour's halfway point) is just fine, if limited: not too pricey, which was a pleasant surprise.
This review, though, is of the coffee location in the entrance hall. And it's awful. Large Starbucks logos everywhere, 'Coffee' in the Starbucks font - but this is *not* a Starbucks, and it shows.
No choice of roasts: only one 'medium' which translates as 'weak and acidic.' No half-and-half or cream, nor even whole milk - only skim. That was the point when I asked "you're not a Starbucks really, are you?" "No," said the server, "but we try to hide that." Yeah.
Do yourself a favour and stop at a real coffee place before arriving - the 40-minute wait in the entrance queue will give you more than enough time to enjoy your venti dark roast :). read more
