The firewood delivery we received today is such a disappointment. During our phone conversation I made it clear that we have a wood burning stove. I was told the wood was split and 16-18 inches long. In reality many pieces are so large I can hardly pick them up, they need to be cut and split again to fit in my burner. Others are just odd chunks the size of a softball or small football. More like Wet and Muddy. What a load of garbage! The driver was more than an hour late and dumped a ton of soaking wet mud covered 'wood' in our driveway. He apologized the second he arrived for what he called 'earth material' due to the weather. I paid him before he dumped it- major mistake on my end. Once I got outside to inspect it 5 minutes later I found a virtual mudslide in my driveway. Here's the real kicker- a massive rock even made it into the pile. I called to ask if things could be made right and I was met with an owner who couldn't care less and told me to take a hose to the 2 cord pile! My toddler and I spent 1.5 hours cleaning off his disgusting wood in the cold. DO NOT use this company. read more

Worst wood I have ever had delivered. Really wish I had read reviews here first. I had to spend a week cleaning up the muddy mess. Found on Craigslist. They actually write at the bottom of their posting "Customers are encouraged to inspect load upon delivery" - DO IT. I ordered wood from them and got a load of crap, literally. I verified that the price included stacking. I ended up with a dump truck load dropped in the middle of my driveway. LOTS OF CRAPPY WOOD. Definitely not cut for wood burning stoves, not hardwood, not properly seasoned...all things I verified the wood would be when I called (and the guy even asked me if it was for a fireplace or wood burning stove). The attitude of the owner and their professionalism is from the bottom of a cesspool. BUYER BEWARE...LIKE THEIR AD SAYS..."CUSTOMERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO INSPECT LOAD UPON DELIVERY". But save yourself the trouble. Find someone more reputable to buy from. Someone wrote a similar review on the Better Business Bureau website. read more

To anyone considering ordering wood from these guys DONT DO IT keep looking even if you have to pay more I ordered a cord it was delivered it had shards and dirt on top of pile after they dumped but a figured there was firewood under i made mention to driver he basically gave me a song and dance said it was normal to have like a garbage can of sm shards ok i pd him we started pulling out the wood kicking around looking for firewood long story ended up with maybe 2/3 of a cord and 5 large outdoor garb cans of garbage when i called they gave me the same scripted bull that the driver did, I asked them to come look at what they sent they were not interested in the least then said everyone complains trying to get free wood i never even mentioned money back i just wanted what I pd for . They have a location 5 minutes from here and couldnt even come look and make it right they actually said remind us the next time you order. This was my first and last...Such bad business practice!!!!
