I decided to rent a few of these games for an event this past weekend and they were the highlight of the day. It's a great way to entertain the guests and keep them busy, especially all the kids! We rented the connect four: This one was my favorite. It was an easy setup and given the gigantic features, I was surprised at how sturdy and firm the pieces were. Jenga: This one was very simple. Everybody knows jenga! It was a little windy that day which gave us a little challenge but they didn't even budge! Good solid build! Ladder golf: This one was fun too. It's harder than it looks, just don't get the balls stuck in the tree!! Lol Definitely will rent again! Maybe I'll try and add the corn hole game too! I was able to get in touch with Ampy about a few questions I had about pickup and the actual sizes of the games and she was just great! I highly recommend gigantic lawn games!!

I went in to Rainman's on December 20th and they had a few 2WD left, however one was pink. It was tempting, but I was sure a fight would ensue on who got the pink one. The owner told me he expected some more to be delivered the next couple of days. I was under the gun so I bought one on-line and was hoping I'd get lucky. I did secure a second truck on-line, but now I wanted one for myself as well. Long story short, I ended up with 4 trucks and my wife didn't want one. Anyway, I went back to the shop and explained the situation. I didn't want to return one of the trucks to this shop, I could of easily sent back the one that came from Amazon. However, I was certain they could sell it faster and another customer would be able to enjoy it for Christmas. The Rain-man's staff is very friendly and knowledgable, and they have a large inventory of parts. We had a mishap at home and we needed a stub axel carrier. I took the boys to the track to get the part and I almost had to drag them out of there. They were absolutely mesmerized by the race track and can't wait to bring their trucks there. We went home with the part and my son thought it was almost as much fun fixing the truck as racing it....almost. Thank you Rain-Man's Hobby & Raceway, this is going to be a great hobby my sons and I will enjoy for a very long time! We are already starting building a track in our yard!

I'm surprised there is not a review for this place! It's definitely Bakersfield's go-to Pop store…read moreand definitely has some of THE best if not THE best overall selection I have seen. While I've been to other Pop stores with bigger inventory, this place has the best selection I've seen... seriously! The owner, Jim, gets the best Common Pops and even rarer Chases and other limited editions. He also even gets the newest Pops and re-stocks immediately! Not only is he friendly and kind, he is knowledgeable and his prices are definitely fair. He also sells other toys and collectibles and even sells Pop protectors to protect your investment. I also like the fact that he has a BOOB section (it's not what you think, LOL) which contains Pops that have some kind of defect on the box which lowers the price. At least he's being fair and lowers the price! Pretty cool!!! I seriously feel like a kid in a candy store here as I a serious Pop collector/enthusiast. It's always fun coming here and I always end up picking up at least one Pop! Also, be wary of their hours as I believe they open after 5 PM on weekdays and open in the mornings on the weekends. Definitely go support this local store! It's definitely awesome and worth checking out--- especially if you're a Pop nut like me!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
