Walked around trying to get stuff I could easily buy online ( cheaper mind you) Three employees one complaining about work and sitting on counter not working. Other two oblivious to customers. Staff were incredibly helpful, to the point of pulling all the small sized flannels, hoodies, and jackets and giving them to my son to try on. Great selection of clothing that is easy to find based on brand, men's, women's, kids, etc. While my son was trying on I checked out the new and used boards and found a few that I'd love to add to my quiver. The used boards were in very good shape and were market prices. Love that they also support local non-profits via the Mustache for Kids charity foundation.

They might've had a bad experience or beef with one employee but every staff member here is very personable, polite and accommodating. They remembered my face the second time I went and even though there was no one at the skate rental window, when I found an employee they let me try a couple pairs before going out on the ice. The skates could definitely be in better condition and the ice was rough one of the days but if you go often enough that's why you buy your own pair and have patience while they refresh the ice after sessions. I have zero complains with this business and hope they stay in town for a long time!!

Coming from the Fayetteville area we were willing to find any store that sold snowboard bags in…read moreFebruary for an upcoming snowboarding trip that was nearly foiled by Amazon's crap service (read: canceling the order the day the bag was supposed to arrive, a month after initial order). Amazingly, this seemed to be the only shop in Wilmington to sell snowboard bags. The guys working in the shop are totally cool. The boyfriend and the shop keepers totally jived and conversed in snowboard jargon before I wandered off. We ended up settling on a wheeled Burton bag (25% all Burton products was a great deal), a pair of rainbow sandals for me (the most comfortable pair ever; I didn't even have to break them in like I do the ones from California; I thought they were all from California though), and a pair of booties that are totally the fad right now for 70% off. A great place for snow, skate, and beach wear and some pretty awesome dudes and deals are found here!
