First timer! We are here for our Aunt's funeral. Before check-in, I pulled up the website to check out the amenities and the restaurant. Just getting an idea of what I can expect. Upon arrival cars were parked alongside the front entrance. No valet parking. The parking is only for drop off and unloading. Parking is across the street shared with Nook's Fitness Center. Rebecca, Front desk attendant, was very sweet and helpful. I could only see the top of her head as she was on a call. She sounded like a little girl She explained the checkout process, the restaurant, and the fitness center hours. She provided the code or card for access to the fitness center. After dropping off the luggage, we stopped by the restaurant, The Hydraulic Bar, for dinner. My brother-in-law decided he wanted TX Roadhouse. Let's talk about how massive this Hotel is. Mind you it used to be a Paper Plant. It has been remodeled into a modern hospitality location Throughout the building, you see the steel beams. Large hallways. Several entry doors. Massive Conference Center. The Nook Fitness Center is 65k Square Foot. Yes, that's right 65k Square Foot. As previously stated, it is across the street. Wide range of fitness equipment, professional trainers, and 200 meter indoor track. It's REALLY nice! We are here 3 nights so I intend to utilize the fitness center. We may eat at the Hydraulic Bar one night before we leave. The rooms are larger than any hotel (Marriott, Hilton, Fairfield ) I've stayed in. Again, it is a former Paper Plant. Refrigerator no microwave. We have 2 queen beds. The walls are brick along the windows. I love it as it gives a studio or loft look. The only issue there was only a very small tube of shower gel. I usually bring my own soap but I forgot. I will pick up a bar bc this shower gel is not enough. I may come back to update when we check out but for now, I love it here. read more

Booked a two-night stay for about $450 and unfortunately had to cancel after an unexpected death in my family. I reached out to the hotel within about 24 hours of making the reservation, and the stay was still five days away. When I booked the room, I didn't even realize the rate I selected was non-refundable. That part was my mistake, and I take responsibility for that. At the same time, sometimes policies don't always reflect real-life circumstances. Situations like this are when you hope a business will show at least a little understanding. Losing someone in your family is already difficult, and dealing with travel plans on top of that only adds to the stress. I wasn't trying to bend the rules unfairly, just hoping the hotel might consider the situation and show a little compassion. Instead, there was no flexibility at all and the full amount was kept. Even reaching out within a day of booking and several days before the stay didn't make a difference. Policies are important, but so is basic human understanding. Moments like this are when companies have the opportunity to show they care about people, not just policies. Unfortunately that wasn't the case here. Just something for future guests to keep in mind when booking. read more

If you have early mornings or enjoy a peaceful nights rest, this isn't the hotel for you. The warehouse concept is cool but I didn't realize the lack of soundproofing the rooms have. You can hear people next door/upstairs coughing, watching tv, even using their phone on speaker. I stayed 2 nights and each night was woken by the noise in the hallways that echoed through the warehouse and the noise from each room. When I called at 10 pm due to the neighbor singing to music on her phone, the staff told me that quiet time doesn't start till 11pm but even then there was no actual quiet time. Clean room though. Terrible customer service. This hotel canceled our reservations without notice. We arrived from traveling over to 8 hours with young children upon arrival we're told that our reservations were canceled . They didn't provide us with any alternative means or accommodations and all hotels were booked out in the surrounding areas . Very cold customer service . read more

This place sounded cool and is a awesome concept. However it feels like they really missed the mark somewhere. The rooms are large and spacious and dark, , but there is nothing in the rooms. No decorations, one picture, a chair and a desk with concrete floors. The TV was so tiny you could barely see it from the bed and I wear glasses. If you're a sleeper than you'd like it since there is no outside windows (unless you pay for it). So you never know what time it is since there is no sunlight. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It's just a really, really plain place with tons of echos due to being so empty. If it was half the cost I'd say it would have more Appeal. If you're there for an event at the gymnasium across the street It would be convenient. However there is nothing close to the warehouse that you can walk to. It's kind of a corridor. Last sound travels through the building easily do to the high ceilings and bare space. read more

Came here for a weekend basketball tournament. The room is outrageously priced for what it is. They should change the name to "Cha-Ching!" Parking is a bit of a walk. The ceiling in our room is disgusting - I've seen "warehouse effect" and this is dump effect!. No phone in room! Want to contact the front desk - use your phone. Next time, I'll stay a little further away and not get so ripped off! read more

Stayed at the Warehouse hotel for 2 nights for a training course that was located in their attached conference center. Check-in was fairly easy, and you can park right outside the front door, check in and bring your luggage up to your room and then move your car. The parking lot was probably a 3 min walk back to the hotel at most (it's close to the fitness center). Rooms are what I would call no frills, but really spacious. There is a small fridge but no coffee maker. Floors are concrete, but there was an area rug near the beds. I had read this and brought slippers so I was fine. Decor is nice, and the outer wall is exposed brick (though fully covered by the curtains when they are closed. There was a smoke detector in the room which flashed a very bright light every 10 seconds throughout the night. One additional thing (and it's a pet peeve of mine), TV and remote have no sleep timer. Fitness center, which you get access to if you are 18+ and staying at the hotel is really nice. Has a track, weights, treadmills, etc. Only caveat is you have to walk outside to access, which in the winter is a challenge. Also a comment on the convention space- it was also nicely decorated, and food was really good. Rooms were a bit noisy with high ceiling and exposed heating ducts. read more

Diamond in the rough. I stumbled on this new hotel and was very pleasantly surprised. The decor was funky and cool. Accommodations were all new (buyer-beware the rest of the warehouse is still rolling out new tenants) & the customer service was exemplary. I was there for a funeral and the front desk team wrote the nicest note of sympathy and brought a goody bag of water, tissues and sweets; a really great touch!! Kudos Warehouse team!! read more

The hotel is across from Spooky Nook which makes it convenient for tournaments and rooms are clean...that's the good. The bad. Parking is a nightmare. Simply not enough hotel spots. They have 3 lots, and when the 2 "close" ones are full, the 3rd is like a 3/4 mi walk. We came in at 4 AM after driving through a snowstorm. We marked in line w other cars. Apparently while we were parked the snow melted and about 25 of us who parked where we thought there were spots in the midst of a snowstorm, were not. The stickered 25 cars in the middle of the drivers windshield on a car that needed to drive home hours as this was an out of town tournament. A bit petty IMO. The staff at the desk at 4AM was clearly annoyed that we had interrupted their quiet evening and were short and unhelpful. The king room w pullout is basic. Not even another chair in the room for the desk area that is built into the wall. After staying at other hotels in the area, for this same tournament, I'd return to one of those out closer to the downtown over even the expressway. I will not return here. read more

To all the sports teams and parents thinking about entering a tournament at Spooky Nook and staying here, be sure to read the fine print. We went for a volleyball tournament and they seemed to deliberately release the schedule really late so it was past the time to change or cancel your reservation. This is poor business practice and they should be ashamed. They also had a hard time getting a lot of teams for the tournament, no surprise. Finally, the old warehouse is cool, but it is not $200 a night cool. Overpriced and shady business practices, stay away! read more

Beware of the Warehouse Hotel!! BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! While I haven't stayed there I made a reservation on their website offering a free night with the purchase of two nights deal when reserving with either AAA & AARP. After making my reservation I received a call from Chris the General Manager informing me that it was not their policy, despite their website offer. This general manager should never be in customer service, he continually talked over me, very condescending, and just plain rude. While still on the phone with him I went online and screen shot the same offer and offered to send it to him but he said no and continued to say they would not honor the reservation and were shutting down their website. With this service manager attitude this hotel will not last one. read more

We stayed here for a basketball tournament. It is definitely convenient to walk across the street to the games and come back to your room in between games. The reservation and check in process were fine. The rooms are clean and spacious but not cozy. They are industrial style with no windows. The showers have no baths. It can get really noisy especially when there's a sports event and a lot of kids staying there. They do enforce quiet hours after 11pm. The free coffee and tea in the lobby was convenient but there is no free breakfast. The hotel bar has some food options. The hotel restaurant was not open yet when I stayed in June 2024. I was hoping to get some work done while there but the wifi is horrible and I'm surprised since it's also a conference center so do not rely on that. There are only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers on the 2nd and 3rd floor so there can be a long wait to use them. If you set your expectations the convenient location to Spooky Nook can be worth it. read more

Stayed here for two nights. The hotel we wanted was booked but this place was on our list to try as it seemed to be an interesting concept. The warehouse setting made for huge rooms with high ceilings and the industrial, modern look was intriguing. Check in was easy. For what we paid, however, they truly could have bumped up some of the amenities. The plastic shower insert with a plastic shower curtain was not nice at all (besides the mold on the curtain was yuck); the toiletries were minimal (tiny bottle of shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel which were not replaced upon our request for room clean up after first day); a vape left on our counter was taken by room service; there is no coffee maker in the room (the coffee in the lobby was delicious but have to go to the lobby to get it); and the lighting for the bathroom is super dim. Do not plan to do your make up or see yourself well in this lighting. Also no full length mirror or closet/drawers. Our room was on the main floor with a window to the street which gave no privacy unless the curtains were drawn and if the curtains were drawn then the room was dark (no overhead lighting). The parking was not convenient down the street. This all being said..... The bed was FABULOUSLY comfortable and location is a nice safe walk to downtown. I would only stay here again if our hotel of choice was not available because of these factors BUT the hotel has the ability to "fix" many of these problems: improved lighting, improved showers and toiletries, coffee maker in the room, sheers on windows, overhead lighting option, full length mirror, dresser/closet, and valet service. read more

My husband and I stayed at The Warehouse, Champion Hill in Hamilton, OH over the weekend (7/14/2023 -7/16/2023.  Our experience was not the best, the facility had both pros and cons.    We were able to check in a little early, which was great, the front desk staff at that time was awesome...in reading the previously posted reviews I knew to ask for a riverside view or a street view, otherwise the room would not have any natural light and it would be dark and gloomy, which was verified when we viewed one of those rooms.  The room size was really nice, had plenty of room.  The big windows were great.  I think a lot more thought should have went into the layout of the room and decoration of the room.  The walls were sparingly decorated.  I know the facility was trying to keep the warehouse feel, but there was a lot of paint on the floors and in the corners, it just made the room look like it was a rushed job or unfinished.   The room constantly had flying gnats, not sure what that was about.  We only had one trash can, which was located in the bathroom, and as you are aware, housekeeping does not come everyday so that one trash can got overly full quick.  We ended up finding a garbage bag and putting all of our trash in that and disposing of it each time we left the room.  One of the things that was weird it that the rooms did not have telephones, I know in this day and age, everyone has cell phones, but if an emergency was happening, we would have to take the time to look up the number for the front desk in order to call. I am not sure if this was a random event, but another of our party called down to the front desk requesting additional towels and she was told that we had to come to the front desk and retrieve them, since housekeeping did not deliver.  A major issue we had was the television service was not working.  It was some kind of service interruption that kept stopping and starting.  I did see when were checking out the hotel offered donuts for the tv not working.  The facility did not have restaurant, which I believe should have been the first thing that should have been available when it opened.  With the sports complex next door, there are a lot of teams and groups coming from all over the US , the restaurant would have been a great feature, they did let you know that you can go next door to the sports facility and go to the different kiosk (if they are open) but there are not a lot of healthy options.  They did have a little snack bar that you can purchase from. I would advise asking where your room is in reference to the elevator, our room was located at the end of a very long hall way (at least a football field and a half), even if you go down the stairs, you still will have to walk to the front of the hotel to exit, all other doors were marked emergency.  It very discouraging if you get off a long flight or long drive and want to go to your room to relax, but you have to lug your luggage down the long hallway. Parking!  Parking is bad.  You have the option to park in 1 of 3 lots, but lots are soo far away from the entrance of the hotel.  I feel so bad for those that are disabled or have issue with walking and getting around.  You either have to walk down  to one end of the hotel or cross the street and walk to the other end of the hotel and you are required to place a parking pass in the window.  The hotel should invest in some kind of valet parking for those who are not able to walk the distance or who do not want to walk the distance.     The hotel has quiet hours between 11 and 7, in which they dim lights in the lobby. A couple of us was sitting in the lobby talking and sure enough around 11, the light were dimmed, it was almost as if they wanted us to leave.  I definitely understand the need for the quiet hours, but that was different. There was a sign that basically stated that we could not socialize and bring food from outside and enjoy it in the lobby.  With the hotel situated right next to the sports complex there are a lot of teams that come in and want have pizza for the team and enjoy camaraderie. This could not be done.  The hotel has a lot of open space with it being attached to a conference center.  They can utilize some of the space better. Another issue is that we were not able to enter the sports complex from the hotel side, we had walk or drive around the building to access the sports complex.  The website talks about how convenient it is to access the sports complex, but that is not the case.  I can understand going to the main entrance the first time, but once you have your ticket/arm band, you should be able to access the facility by using the hotel side doors. read more

When I pulled up to the hotel in an area of Hamilton named Spooky Nook it is a bit deserted, but it's a nice place to stay and close to Miami of Ohio. There's not a lot of things to do close - but if you are looking for a unique place to stay while visiting Miami - check this place out! read more

Very expensive for very little. Room was big but it was cold and the beds were horrible. First, they are not queen size beds, more like a full. The beds were not level and it felt like I was standing on my head. The beds were very, very firm. when we checked in, no one said anything about breakfast or wifi. I had to ask about the wifi. On Saturday we didn't see any sign of breakfast. When we were checking out on Sunday we noticed muffins. The parking situation was horrible. The only parking lot was about a 1/4 mile down the road. I am disabled and there was no way I could walk from the parking lot. My husband dropped me off at the door but the curb was so tall that I almost fell on three separate occasions because there was no handicap accessiboe ramp. i mentioned this to the host and she snidely apologized and said things weren't complete. However, the cement for the curbs were poured and no way they are gonna tear it up unless they are forced to. Upon departure, we did discover a ramp at the co vent ion center but it was not near the entrance of the hotel. I spoke to three other quests who were also disabled and said they would never return, not for $206 a night after taxes. Absolute rip off. read more
