Disappointing Experience at Dunkin' Donuts…read more I had a very upsetting experience at this Dunkin' Donuts location today. After placing my order and receiving it, I politely asked, "Could I possibly have some ketchup?" One employee silently pointed behind me, and I quickly realized the ketchup was in plain sight. I laughed it off, saying, "Oh duh, thank you so much!" What truly upset me was what happened next. I overheard an employee (or perhaps a manager) with bright red dyed hair say, in a loud and condescending tone, "Look around, use your eyes." It was unnecessary and incredibly rude. I felt ashamed and embarrassed, all because I made a harmless mistake by not noticing the ketchup station right away. It's the start of a new year, and while I understand that everyone can have a bad day, there's no excuse for taking it out on customers. I was just trying to get breakfast and left feeling humiliated because of someone's negativity. I hope management addresses this issue, as kindness and basic respect go a long way. No one deserves to feel shamed over something so small.

I thought that very pretty rude of her. Every other worker seemed really nice and assisted the customers with smiles. I think this particular worker needs to smile more and be more polite to her customers. Why wouldn't she say with a smile, I'm so sorry your daughters latte spilled I would be more than happy to make her a new one. Not a good experience!

Tidal might have my favorite beers of any of them. I've become one of those IPA people over the years, and they're great with those, from West Coast to Hazy--but they're also solid with other styles, and seem to be particularly good with British styles, from ESBs to "mild" ales. The service there's always been fast and friendly, and I like the place's atmosphere in general: it's rarely too loud but it's still lively, making it good for both sitting down with a beer to do some writing and for chatting up people on the admittedly rare times I'm being chatty. While there's little food within walking distance--a problem with virtually any Florida suburb--there's a lot within short driving distance, and a taco truck recently set up semi-permanently in the parking lot. (I haven't had a chance to try them yet.)

Tidal Brewing isn't much on atmosphere, but they make up for it with a solid bunch of beers. Tidal is located in an old, somewhat rundown strip mall that is next to an abandoned gas station. Some of the parking places were the actual gas pumps or former gas pumps. The inside is fine with an assortment of board games, tables, booths and a bar. The beer is really good. I asked for a flight, but they don't have flight boards. You can get as many 5 oz pours as you want in pint glasses. The only issue here is carrying 6-pint glasses to your booth. No biggie. I was a big fan of their Horchata Porter, Turbid Waters (hazy IPA) and the Dunkelweissen. Pretty tasty. There is no food onsite but there was a Marco's pizza in the strip mall, some shady looking food truck around the corner, and a Latin restaurant next door. If I was just judging on the beer, 4 stars. The server was nice and if I was a local, I'd be a regular.

I've gotten Mimi's Favorite (don't quote me on the name of this drink) twice and I really do like it. It's essentially a brown sugar cinnamon latte with cinnamon cold foam. If you like those flavors in your iced latte drinks then I'd definitely recommend you try this one! They've got a cute little kids menu which isn't always a thing at coffee shops for obvious reasons but I am very grateful for it because I do bring children with me sometimes. I ordered the Cocoa freeze (it has no coffee in it) this time around and the child really loved it. I've gone through the drive through many times and with 4-5 cars it will take about 15-20 minutes so when I saw 7 cars in the drive thru I decided to try inside. Inside there was no line and one person waiting for their drinks - not bad I thought- so I order my one drink - caramel macchiato - and waited... and waited and waited and waited for 15 minutes I watched while the staff wandered around, fumbled boxes as they restocked and slowly made drive thru drinks one after another - still slow. Apparently they have no urgency for inside orders at all and nobody designated to take and/or make orders. Last time I went through the drive thru they handed me a cup dripping from an obvious spill, we both held the cup and as I pass it back and ask them to clean it up, the lid pops off because it wasn't securely placed. They replaced the cup and as I set another drink on my lap to pass others around, it left a stained ring on my pants from being placed on a messy workspace. Please do better
