    Shrimp tacos with Baja sauce
    Malika Z.

Food: everything tasted great. Shrimp tacos had great flavor the roasted salsa added a nice addition of flavor. Chicken enchiladas with rice and beans were also good but didn't really stand out. Quesobirria tacos with consume was also really good. Definitely needed the toppings and salsa to add flavor but the crunch from the taco dipped into the consome definitely hit the spot. They offered 5 different salsas and had them ranked from least to most spicy, the roasted one was my favorite. Jamaica was on the sour side and I prefer mine to be a little sweeter. Cucumber lemonade was refreshing and had basil seeds in there as well. Service: total came out to $47. Food came out fast. Everyone was super nice. Cashier was well informed of the menu and explained the different plates offered. Ambiance: place was clean. Pretty small in size with 2 tables seating 4 and a bar top on the perimeter of the restaurant. You could see and hear the cooks which made it feel homey and authentic.

Stopped in for a quick lunch on Saturday. We ordered the Birria tacos, and shrimp tacos. I like the peppers in the shrimp tacos. The birria tacos were good too. The service was fast and friendly and the pricing is good. The seating was limited due to it being a smaller location. Overall, give this location a 3.5 of 5.

In San Antonio and it is late, family hungry and this place had great pictures, but was the food good? It was excellent! Salsa was super fresh and the food was hot! The cheese pull on the birria quesadillas stole the show, and the flavors were superb. Our dasher was fast and on time. Check them out! 11/10!

Finally got around to trying the food here. Overall not too bad. The service was great, the staff were super nice, and the food came out quick. We had the birria caldo, shrimp mini tacos, and asada fries. Let's start with the caldo. Love the dish ware. It was overall decent. I think all birria should have a kick to it. This one didn't, but it was actually quite tasty and not over salted like most places in town. It also came with yellow corn tortillas, which match PERFECTLY with birria. Good portion too. My son's mini tacos were good. The only issue was some of the tacos had more pepper than actual shrimp. The most disappointing dish was the asada fries. The reason was the cheese sauce they used was watery. The fries at the bottom turned to mush. Not very pleasant or what you expect from fries. Just change the sauce and you have something. The asada portion was good. It was just very un appetizing as is. Almost forgot we also ordered ceviche. It was just ok. Again it just was missing the kick and lacked any punch. The one thing we all agreed on was the sauces helped TREMENDOUSLY with all the dishes. Amazing sauces! It was affordable and was above average in flavor. We may come back to try more of the menu except the fries.

I've ordered from Wapo Taco for a couple of years now and have never had any issues. I will admit I've never been inside and either Door Dash or go through the drive thru. My food has always been delicious! Today I ordered the mini asada tacos with avocado. They were bomb! The meat was flavorful and hit the spot. Definitely give them a try!

Veggie Loaded Nachos without cheese, as requested.

The best veggie nachos ever! I love nachos; I don't eat meat or dairy. Wapo Taco has great food. You can bet the nachos with meat and cheese will be off the chart, if that's your preference. They have great breakfast tacos and offer a variety of Mexican food for lunch and dinner. I ordered the Veggie Loaded Nachos. They come with Home-made chips topped with vegan beans, grilled zucchini, squash, onions, bell peppers, loads of cheese, and topped with sour cream and avocado slices. I ordered them WITHOUT cheese and WITHOUT sour cream. I requested pickled jalapeños and shredded lettuce on top. They were perfect!!! It's a small place; so, they do a lot of drive through business. There is inside seating.

First time here on a friends recommendation and boy will I never come here again. The service was terrible. Standing here for decoration while the drive through and DoorDash get taken out almost immediately. I only ordered 2 tacos with no drink and had to wait and watch many bigger orders get taken and given out. I'm very dissatisfied with the service here and want to leave but unfortunately I already paid and have to wait for my food to come out whenever that is

Bacon and egg taco with "extra" bacon apparently.

We are consistent customers but after today not anymore. 4 out of 7 tacos ordered at the drive thru were wrong. Wapo taco thinks 1 strip of bacon is "extra" apparently. When called about the problem, the manager wanted us to drive 5 miles back to the location for the missing items with no care about the inconvenience or ruining our breakfast. So fair warning, check your tacos before you leave if you modified it. Better off going to bill miller's who will replace the entire item they messed up and take responsibility for the inconvenience.

When the heat in San Antonio hits the 100s, I get a craving for ceviche!! What is better than salty tortilla chips and cool ceviche (fish, Pico and avacado) to cool you right down. Waco knows how to do ceviche right. Just the right amount of acid and the spicy sauce that is optional sends it out of this world. Chops nice and light but crispy. Fantastic place to beat the heat. And with a convenient drive-thru window so it's quick to take on the go. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience.

Ordered via Grubhub. Food was so good and the portion was huge! My first time eating here and I will definitely be ordering again.

Got enchiladas for under ten bucks. Drive thru is convenient. Cashier didn't understand that Chile rellenos can come with just cheese. She insisted I choose a "meat". So I changed my order to enchiladas. I'm from the north and we don't normally eat chile rellenos with meat, just chihuahua cheese. Since she didn't understand, I didn't trust that it would come out correctly.

Service is fast, place is decently clean for the foot traffic, the servers all look happy and eager to work. I ordered tortilla soup, I usually like it with a cup of rice and avocado like most places serve it. However, I definitely think this is a safe Mexican food restaurant when it comes to not overdoing it with spices and the extra stuff. My soup had a decent amount of chicken. I had a mimosa, loved that they used fresh orange juice. Flour tortillas were delicious! Before heading out you need to have the sweet bread!! So goooodd!

People say when in San Antonio, do like the San Antonian's. Nobody really says that. I mean, I just…read moredid, but I also just made it up. With that being said, let's make up a review. Except I'm not actually making the review up, I've been to the place. Both San Antonio and the restaurant moments away from being reviewed. I'm always down for solid Mexican food. It's always pretty damn good. I mean, at the pure base of things, it's basically the same few ingredients, just different vessels to get it to your mouth. I'm never bad about that. I love transportation. Mi Tierra was a pretty great looking place. Plenty of space, a nice outside waiting area, plus a bakery. I have never been to a place with a bakery that I didn't like. It seemed like a very authentic place, and that's coming from a resident of Michigan. A resident that eats Taco Bell. A resident who eats Taco Bell and think's THAT'S authentic Mexican. The first thing I noticed was that this place did not seem to serve burritos. Not a marker really for me, but it was something I've never came across before. I also thought that you were stuck ordering enchiladas or tacos in a meal type of setting. Upon further questioning, you can order a la cart. That was a relief. I ended up ordering the enchiladas Verdes because sometimes I ignore my color palate and go for green. And because I can't just stop eating one form of meat, cheese, and sauce, I ordered a taco. Actually, I just ordered a taco because I wanted a dryer enchilada. Or did I order the enchiladas because I wanted a wetter taco...I don't know anymore. Anywho, I ground beef, American style taco. Now, I've always been a big fan of chips and salsa. Some salsa hits, some miss. Some salsa is pureed and is basically red water. Some salsa is just a full tomato. I like my salsa like I like my orange juice. With extra calcium. Wait. Mild pulp. That's it. This salsa pretty much hit those notes. Had good flavor and a little spice left to linger. The main course came out and everything looked delicious. Green enchiladas looked exactly like I expected. However, it took me a moment to realize I was not looking at a burrito...but instead, my taco. It was served a peculiar way. wrapped, seam down, with a little bit of the meat on top, pico and lettuce on the outside, next to it. It was a burrito peacocking as a taco. I've never seem this display before, and I have been to many Taco Bell and non-Taco Bell restaurants. The taste was pretty good, though. All the taco flavor in a burrito jacket. The enchiladas were pretty decent, too. Everything tasted like it had all the ingredients and that they were in all the right spots. No doubt about it, I was full after e

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
